This product has so far done all it was required to do, having been in the process of constructing a shed. I've used it to cut roof and floor boards from lumber, using both soft and hardwoods. It cuts accurately and quickly.It was good to have the ability to purchase spare blades with it, not that they've been needed yet. A bonus was the inclusion of a couple of carbon brushes - nice touch.So far I have no complaints of Silverline products, this being my third.

Extremely good value and quality for the money. Easy to use and feels well made.I wanted a circular saw for a particular job and this fitted the bill perfectly. It is not a tool that I will use every day of the week but one that will be extremely useful for those DIY repair jobs that crop up from time to time.If you are looking for a circular saw to use for those DIY projects, then I would recommend that you consider this saw.

Only used it twice so far, Both times I was ripping down a 2 metre length of 3x2 timber. It took me 10 minutes to do something that used to take all day when I did it by hand.It's not excessively noisy and when used with the rip fence it cuts straight. It is easy to use and as safe as they could bake it with a double action switch system. The saw cannot be locked on so it is not possible to use it as a table mounted saw,

This is basically a very good circular saw, powerful for its size; however, there are a couple of problems: (a) the lack of an instructional booklet - the latter would have been really useful, especially for a first-time circular saw owner like me; (b) the fact that the guard seems to slip very easily - some sort of catch to hold it in place would have been greatly appreciated.

An excellent purchase that is really easy to use. It provides a good, fast, cutting platform and a safety-first guard & blade cover.The only disadvantage is that there is no box/case provided and the unit is an awkward shape for safely storing/stacking without this. I purchased a "large 33cm Tool Bag DIY Kinzo" on Ebay (£9.99) to make up for this.

not a bad saw for the price handy for doing light diy or light building work eg cutting ply wood , chip board , mdf , doing fencing , stud work partions ect , some light joice and flooring work , building sheds ect . would struggle to cut 9 x 3 ok for 6 x 2 and 4 x 2 . been in the building industry for 48 years not a bad wee saw

For the money and DIY use it's really very good, the only possible improvement would be an LED guide light but at this price I can live without. Would totally recommend and surprisingly good quality given the price, I normally stick to Bosch but couldn't justify the price for the light use it will get, great tool!

Really good value for money, I have used it a few times now and does everything I want it too, bought this to cut soft wood for a log burner and is more than capable for this, one downside for me is I wish it had a bag to collect the sawdust in when cutting but this is only a minor problem.

Not for a tradesman using it everyday but for my DIY (and I do a lot) it is perfect for my needs. Easy to handle and all the usual options for angles and depths you would expect from a pro tool but finished for a more modest budget. Great!!

I have only used it for one job so far on a composite worktop which it cut with ease leaving a good finish on the edge. It appears to be much better quality than the price would suggest. All this with 3 spare blades - what's not to like.

Having reviewed many similar products I chose this as it looks exactly the same as much more expensive brands.As I do not use a circular saw very often I could see no point in buying a saw costing 3 or 4 times the price to do same job.

Look at the title, that says it all. I had looked at Bosch, Makita even Festool but they have nothing over this one.Save your money and buy two of these, fit aDifferent blades in them and you are good to go for any job you need

For the price I can not fault it,works and cuts much better than he old black and decker it has replaced.The wing nut for locking blade angle can get a bit tight to undo,but apart from that,it works fine

at a price half of what B and Q sell there saws this is a brill item and I am very pleased with this productan very well price item that is as good as the dearer saws that are on the market

It is doing the job for me so I might have Bought A more expensive one but I dont think there is any need It is good enough for my job ..
