This is a very good masher and the best I've owned. It's comfortable to use and makes mashing easy. I'm especially impressed that the holes don't block up, nor do the front or rear faces need clearing during mashing. I just tap the masher once on the side of the bowl and everything falls back into the mash. The masher is formed from a single plate of thick stainless steel welded to the ergonomic handle. That makes the masher strong and sturdy with no danger of bending in normal use. It stays clean as there are no hidden gaps or corners and no separate parts to come adrift.I've noticed one or two bad reviews saying this product doesn't mash well.

We have a saying in our family. 'Buy cheap, buy twice' and thats exactly what we did. Before we saw the proverbial light we owned a supermarket brand masher bought out of pure convenience, and boy was that hard to use. Almost made me not want to make mash because it was so difficult to use and required alot of strength to mash, and even then the mash was full of lumps.In comparison this masher is an absolute dream to use. I am not very strong, and yet this masher requires no strength at all to do its job. Potatoes are quickly and easily mashed resulting in lovely soft mashyness heaven.Suffice to say i am very pleased and firmly believe this masher will last us a lifetime.

I looked around for this design of potato masher, its easier on your hands when pressing down and mashing. I read a lot of reviews for a lot of different makes and I ended up buying this one as my first choice had actually sold out and I didn't want to wait, but I don't regret it!The reviews for this version are positive with a couple mentioning that the holes are a little on the small side, however, once you get started with the mashing the smaller holes help smash the potatoes to a good smooth consistency. It also feels solid in your hand, but is lightweight.I didn't give it the full 5 stars as, along with many other utensils manufactured with hollow sections, the handle fills with water when washed,

Sick of your modern masher bending , twisting, just not being up to the job and not as strong as they used to be? We were! Not being able to replace one that belonged a grandparent that was still robust enough to use but the metal had began to pit and tarnish it was so old, we bought modern versions that did bend and twist in use and quickly broke. This Cuisipro potato masher, however, is an exceptional masher, robust and comfortable to use with its wide chunky handle and manufactured to a high quality. It is easy to clean too with no rivets or creases to trap food or moisture.

This is a fantastic masher. The body and base are made from one piece of quality thick stainless steel which is bend around to join the handle making it feel really strong and more than up to the job and the main reason I bought it. The handle feels solid and thick making it easy to grip. Others I have used in the past have nothing on this and feel weak and flimsy in comparison with weak joints and have thin metal.The mash made seems perfect and I genuinely can't think of anything negative to say and would definitely recommend you choose one of these.

I like well crafted, beautifully designed, fit for the purpose gear for any task I'm undertaking and as I have a particular fondness for cooking, I'm willing to pay more for items that are likely to last. This masher has been a welcome addition to my kitchen toolbox used to help produce excellent varieties of mash: plain spuds, carrot and turnip, spud, parsnip and celeriac etc. Having almost plumped for the plastic version, I'm glad I didn't as this is very easy to wash too. Quality.

I am aware that the Cuisipro Tempo Potato Masher is the crème de la crème as mashers go.. However I want to write a few words regarding my shopping experience. I ordered this at 3pm on the day PRECEDING delivery. Well done BayTree Cookware and well done Royal Mail.. Oh, and the masher is an excellent buy and though expensive will last a lifetime whilst retaining its timeless style.

Bought this masher about a month ago on Amazon for £17.99 which was a bargain at that price , we have had numerous masher's over the year's and this Cuisipro masher produces a much smoother creamier mash than any other we have ever tried it has been really good ,and it's solid steel so it won't bust like the plastic handle on my last masher of this design.

Well made, holes are small but with the correct size of pan and possibly because I use butter or cream get a nice finish without the hand pain I got from the old one. Great piece of kit which might seem initially expensive but is the finest quality and worth every penny. You'll pay a lot more for this item in the shops, or get an inferior product. The design is excellent and saves a lot of pain in the wrist compared with others. Having seen my purchase other members of my family have also now bought them.

Simply the best masher out there. Easy to hold in a more natural way that makes mashing potaoes, carrots, swede etc alot easier. Read reviews on similar product that had sides that bent with use so opted for this and had no regrets, its totally solid. Very well made asset to your kitchen utensils.

Excellent product, this masher gets into the edges of all pots and pans.Really easy to use and because of the short handle the masher doesn't need too much pressure applied to mash and the spuds don't stick to the bottom of the masher.Best masher we have owned so far!

Bought this product for my wife who had problems with the old type.The delivery service was first class arriving in just a couple of days.The Masher is well built and does the job with less wrist strain, funny shape for storage but it does the job.

This is the best ever potato masher, nice and sturdy one piece construction, no rivets or spot welds to break. The handle makes it comfortable to use too ! Had no problems at all mashing potatoes, an absolute dream to use. Worth every penny.

I wanted a easy to use, easy to clean masher that looks good too. It ticks all those boxes at a good price. Ok you can get cheaper elsewhere, but I believe that you only get what you pay for most of the time. Would definitely recommend.
