Like the title implies, and yeah, over all its a great product. Its very light, much more so than a Kong Flyer or similar rubber frisbee, so, it might take a little getting used to regarding throwing, but lets be honest, your dog doesnt care if its going over the ground like a wheel, your dog just wants to chase because thats where the fun is.The foam around the edges is perfect for fast dogs that can get to frisbees before they land, so they cant hurt themselves, and it seems sturdy enough for a seriously strong set of Staffy jaws, but only for retrieval...This next bit is important, so, read it, understand it and if you need to,get an adult to explain it: If your dog doesnt bring the toy back and leave it for you or your dog has a tendency to chase toys then plant itself down to chew said toy, this is not for your dog, try something else like chuckit ball or a good sturdy book on dog training. Its going to get dirty if youre throwing it in fields, so, you need to know that it doesnt clean up fantastically, but a quick rinse, a scrub with water, and a dry, itll be fine enough... if you dont like dirty outdoor dog toys, why do you have a dog?If this product falls to pieces within a few uses, ill update this review, but all in all, im very happy with it so far.Edit: Well, its been around 2 months and at least an hour of fetch a day, every day and its almost time to get another. My Staffy has a tendency when shes super excited to shake toys as shes running back with them and that caused a tear which has, over time torn the fibers, ill probably be able to get another few weeks out of it, but yeah, ill need another soon-ish.So, all in all, 15 quid for 70-80 hours of play (once i get another), yeah, i would say that's good value. However, i will say, that the fibers are both strong and thin, do NOT let your dog chew this product, the fibers could easily cut their gums, and if swallowed, well, your dog is going to have a seriously bad time.If your dog doesnt use this as a chew toy, its an excellent product with a great value for the cost.

I've purchased a number of "floating" discs only to lose them in the lake the first time my dog failed to mark it's landing, or the first time they flipped upside down and took on water, though they were still technically floating, they became invisible to the dog. This disc solves that problem, the heavy duty foam rim ensures that no matter what side the disc lands on, it will float and sit on top of the water. I recommend the blue and orange disc, not only is the orange highly visible to humans but the contrast between the two colors makes it easier for dogs to see. This disc is very rugged, yet still perfect for dogs with soft or sensitive mouths, who might shy away from catching hard discs. My Labrador Retriever loves this disc. I could easily see it being the appropriate size for 15-90 pound dogs. Miniature and giant dogs would probably prefer something smaller or larger. This toy is not for training disc dogs, but it is perfect for playtime. It flies better than the Kong disc, but not quite as well as a competition disc.

I was really worried about getting one of these because my terrier quickly rips most toys to shreds. But this has been fantastic. I've waited 3 weeks to review it so that I could test its durability. It passed. My dog is half Border Terrier and half Jagd Terrier. He's knee height and Loves to play tug of war. Though I didn't intend to make this a tug of war toy, because I wanted it to last. I can't get a toy off my dog without playing it. He's tugged at this frisbe for hours every day since we got it. He holds onto it with his teeth even when being weightlifted into the air time and again, up and down. It's really held up well and still flies well. I suspect I'll need to buy another one in a few months time. But we will have had good use of it until then. I had been considering buying the more expensive ones to ensure we got good use out of them, but I'm so glad I tried this one first. It's perfect. Well done product design people and thank you for creating this affordable and durable toy.

This is the second time i buy these. These are amazing gadgets. They take a little getting used to to throw, a little different from a regular rings of Frisbees, but they're really nice. They go far if you can throw, their colors make them impossible to lose, they float even when super wet. My dog can spot them 20 yards in the water, with waves breaking. My lab loves to tear up everything solid, especially when it's her favorite playing toy, and it took her a year to tear them up. Although, after the first one was gone and she realized how to do it, she tore through the second one within a day. That's why I give it 4 stars and not 5. They're not indestructible, either that or my lab's unusually strong -when we play pull the ring, I feel like my arm's gonna go out of its socket-I will still buy as many as necessary to keep seeing that look in my dog's eye when i pull the ring out - yes now i hide them when not playing so she can't rip them -

Update: After using for a few months, it has a lots of bite mark as my dog catch it, run around with it, but it still holding firm, still fly very well.Bought this for my dog to swim. Very happy with its quality, its quite sturdy, although I would not let my dog chew it, it's not I bought it for anyway. It floats and fly really well. It's also quite easy to throw and with its bright color, easy to see for dog and human. If you want your dog to catch it in the air, I think paraflight would be better suit, as those frisbee offer a little bit more of floating in the air, it stay in the air slightly longer, especially with wind. This one(Zipflight) is really for throw it long distance. But this is what I bought it for, I actually don't want my dog to catch it in the air.Overall both me and my dog like this a lot. Have a lots of fun playing this in the field or in the river.

I order one of these every 3-4 months for our foster pit bull. She is 35lb and the MEDIUM is perfect for her. Shipping is very fast, and the disk holds up very well--she is young and extremely energetic. This disk takes a beating! The only reason I have to order new ones is because she eventually starts pulling apart the "cloth" part. It takes her a while to do it, but she is in the habit of chasing it, then she gets tired, she takes it with her to sit down and gnaw on it. The best part is the hole in the middle--our girl will carry ANYthing around, but this disk allows her to get a good grasp on this run all over the yard w/out it flipping up into her face; therefore, she loves it.I've paid twice this much for toys our pit bulls have destroyed in an hour. This one stands up and is a bargain.

Recently, my boyfriend and I purchased the medium-sized Zipflight as a replacement for the first one we bought for our dog. It's high-quality and fairly durable and sturdy for a flying disc. The only thing I'd recommend, though, is to definitely monitor your dog playing with it alone in the house or the yard. ESPECIALLY if you're dealing with a chewer! Through regular use it will wear down slowly over time, but if your pup's a chewer, that time is cut down dramatically.Despite that our dog will end up going through multiple Zipflights, I can't not buy them for him! He loves them more than any other flying disc we've bought for him in the past, probably because while most flying discs on the market are a hard plastic, this one is nylon (?) and a rubbery material cased around a buoyant foam.

I'm a professional dog walker who takes up to six dogs at a time and this AMAZING frizbee has withstood more than any of my other toys. My Border Collie adores it and it's helped his distance work so much, plus it's somehow survived being tugged and chewed by multiple dogs over the last couple months with absolutely no sign of any change in its durability. It floats, flies really well, and it's lightweight enough to clip to my bumbag.I never leave the house without it!I'm actually buying a second one so that I don't have to chase them down to get the first one back ?Can't reccomend it enough - best toy in my arsenal and they all go totally crackers for it. Outstrips all the other frizbees I've tried over the years,no way a casual pet dog could ruin it without some serious chewing.

Love these. I have probably bought 20. I budget 10-12 a year for my Aussie. It's just the way it goes. They hold up well but if we allow her to get excited and rip in to it she does and that is our bad. I can wash it in the sink with detergent in the middle of the month when it's gross and it will make it through until the end. I have bought many many different types and this so far the best. I think the kong is better but I have not been able to find the one with the cut out hole in the middle which makes it so much easier for her to pick up and I enjoy seeing her pretty eyes as she looks at me through the Frisbee begging me to throw some more. She loves it carries it everywhere and wakes us up in the morning slapping us in the face with it. I wouldn't want to live without her.

Whilst this product cost a considerable amount of cash in comparison with an ordinary plastic type 'frisby' it is well worth the money. The ordinary plastic type all crack eventually and, if not noticed in time, this cuts the mouth and tongue of my border collie 'Patch'. The Chukit Zip Flight is well made, robust, extremely soft and bendable and cannot damage 'Patch' in any way and, needless to say, it fly's superb. Chukit Zip Flight will always be my first choice when replacing. I actually bought two.....pink for playing in the fields and long grass and easily seen if 'Patch' unable to find, although he has always retrieved it should he miss catching it. Also a green one for use in the garden. One of the best choices I have made when training and playing with 'Patch'.

My golden retriever loves frisbees and these are his favorite. Yes, I KNOW they are because we can throw several frisbees in the pool and he will not retrieve them but will instantly hit the water when this frisbee is thrown. These are very durable. I purchase one in early fall last year and it lasted until this fall with him swimming all of last winter. They are hard for them to chew up. I purchase 2 more this year and retired the old one due to the rubbery pieces and shredded canvas covering. We regularly have 2 other goldens over for a swim and they all race to get the frisbee first. They play tug of war with these and never manage to rip them apart. Our dog carries it around the house and sleeps with it sometimes.Crazy how attached he is to these things!

This is my dog's favorite toy, and one of mine, too. It floats, which is extremely important, since my dog always finds the water, and has lost a number of sinking toys this way (thus polluting the creek). It can be thrown either like a frisbee or rolled on its edge. It is soft enough for her to grab--bending if necessary--and because of this, won't hurt her as she catches it, or if it hits her by accident. It's pretty tough, but I don't recommend giving it to a dog beyond the fetch game: they do eventually shred the materials. But if used only for fetch they last a reasonable amount of time. And they're good enough that, despite the cost, I always end up buying the same brand to replace the one she's destroyed last.Highly recommend!

We have loved using Chuckit's thrower for many years to save our arms while exercising our 4 labs. When I saw someone using Chuckit's Amphibious Flying Ring at the beach, had to walk down and ask him about it! Two of our labs enjoy fetching frisbees but it is hard to see a frisbee in the water and their teeth marks from catching them in the air soon leave them ragged and wobbly. Have used this ring constantly for many weeks now and it is fantastic. It floats high enough in the water for the dogs to see it; is heavy enough to throw for some distance into the ocean; is durable and strong enough to withstand our youngest lab who doesn't have the softest mouth. She actually prefers it to the tennis ball- no higher praise than this!

My dog (a yellow lab) goes bonkers whenever I pick this up to play with him. It is easy to throw and it is reasonably tough. It's soft enough so it doesn't hurt his mouth when he grabs it out of the air. The edges of the center do get quite ragged after a while and he managed to destroy one when I got a phone call in the middle of a play session and forgot to put it away. It's nice in the winter when it's cold and wet and I don't feel like going outside to play with him. I can throw it in the living room. It's light enough so it doesn't break things if it bounces off them and it doesn't roll under furniture like a tennis ball does. It's definitely one of the best dog toys I've run across in my 60 years of owning dogs.

Our 11-month, 75 lb hound/lab is a chewing, shredding machine. He's relentless, especially with his front teeth. Once he gets a tiny thread free, he keeps after it, and 5 minutes later he's swallowing the stuffing of whatever he tore open--even on toys I thought would last a week. The Chuckit frisbee is unreal. I thought he'd at least tear the foam edges apart, even if the cloth body stayed together. But the thing is still completely intact after months. Other than a Kong, I've never seen another dog toy hold up so well. The middle hole is also a great feature. Makes it easy for him to pick up and carry. Also throws well. Good training for a normal frisbee.
