***This review is based on my own purchase. I have not been paid to review this item, nor have I received any incentive for writing this review. I am not affiliated with Amazon, Kong, or the seller in any way. ***These Kong SqueakAir balls are excellent value-for-money, and the only reason that I ever need to purchase new ones is because my parents' GSD drops one of the two that she carries around on walks, and it is never to be found again! Eventually, we run out of them and I need to purchase more!Firstly, the main reason that I buy these tennis balls is because they are non-abrasive. Freyja is absolutely obsessed with her tennis balls, and if we were to give her a standard tennis one,the abrasive microfibres would eventually start wearing her teeth down (I have seen this occur in several rescue dogs now). However, despite the fact that she plays with her Kong tennis ball several hours a day, and has done so over the last three years, I have seen no evidence of wear on her pearly whites whatsoever. The balls are also extremely durable and withstand several hours of Freyja every day. She runs around with them in her mouth, she throws them about, she chases them when they are thrown from a ball launcher, and she drops them in water - basically, this 38kg, giddy idiot puts them through their paces, and as yet, we have yet to experience any damage to the balls whatsoever (and no one wants damaged balls, do they?!).These balls also squeak, which is a marvellous addition, especially if you have a toy-orientated dog that you need to recall train. The squeak does eventually pack up in Freyja's balls after three-to-four months, but considering what she puts them through, I am amazed that the squeak lasts that long! The other fabulous thing about this range of balls is that they come in various sizes, so you can find the size which suits your dog. Freyja can easily hold the large ball in her mouth, but she seems to prefer the medium one because it is easier for her to squeeze it constantly whilst it is in her mouth!! The medium one is approximately the size of a standard tennis ball. I have also bought the x-small one in the past for my foster teacup Yorkie, and he looked utterly adorable carrying it around!!Some people have said that their dogs have destroyed these balls quickly. However, I would conjecture that these dogs will destroy any tennis ball - I had a foster that would rip one up in two minutes because she was determined to end its life! However, whilst Freyja is extremely vigorous with these balls, she does not try to rip or destroy them, and I believe that this is why we have not experienced such an issue. These balls are practical, durable, and make an excellent training aid, and I have no hesitation in re-purchasing them when Freyja loses them..... again!

Kong brand SqueakAir Balls. Set of 3. Best price I have found anywhere. My pomeranians love these balls as this size is ideal for their small snouts. The balls last perhaps 7 to 10 days as they play brutally with them. Any other brand does not last a single day! The only aspect of Kong balls of issue is the squeaker. It is a bit of white plastic inside each ball. When you hear them playing and the squeak has stopped, they have bitten the Squeek device away from inside of ball. I then remove the bits of plastic to prevent potential swallowing. The ball will last another few days before my poms have ripped it to shreds and Next one. It is excellent for throw/fetch.I throw Obe 100m and they race to get it and rush back for another. It is also excellent for self entertainment for poms. A pom will literally play with a Kong SqueakAir ball the same as a cat. Knocking it and pouncing and ripping to shreds. Of the selection of dog toys, the top two my pomeranians choose most often are the lon SqueakAir ball and formerly stuffed animals with poly stuffing ripped out... the furry cloth is used when they play tug-of-war. Four poms can play 2, 3, 4 way tug-of-war with the former stuffed fox or duck etc.I recommend the Xsmall sized for anyone with pomeranian sized dogs (under 3kg). I find mine destroy one ball per pom every few weeks. I buy on excess of 30 balls per year.

I bought these balls (small 3 pack) 23rd November 2012 for £2.52.Price: 84p per ball seems very reasonable, a little more than cheaper balls of lower quality but worth the extra.Size: My Bichons seem to struggle with a standard sized ball and a TT who although big enough has a massive underbite which reduces his mouth capacity and so this seems a far more comfortable fit!Colour: These are brightly coloured and stand out amongst leaves and grass so I am less likely to lose these in the park; previously a daily occurance with the cheaper ones in blue, green etc. Only lost one in the last month.Quality: Very hard wearing, I've been using these every day for a month now (I don't let the dogs have them unless we are playing fetch)and they are grubby but still intact without punctures. The added squeak is too cute, my dogs has fallen into the habit of squeaking it just before he drops it, makes me laugh every time, which of course makes him do it all the more!Other: I have teamed these with the chuckit small ball launcher for small balls which is great; not to be mixed up with the Good Boy Mini Ball-istic Thrower which is for standard sized balls.Overall: Love them, will be buying again, definitely recommended!

These are a brilliant alternative to tennis balls and well worth the money. Tennis balls are designed for people, they are not great for dogs. I have a Staffie puppy and she'll destroy a normal tennis ball within a day. She'll rip the material off, the rubber outer rings and then start breaking up the casing, which she'll try to eat. If you have anything but a soft-mouthed retriever-type dog then you've probably seen this yourself. These Kong balls are still intact 2-3 months later. The squeak is going in one but she's still very happy to play with it. The other 2 are fine. The small balls are a very similar size to tennis balls and usable in a ball launcher. The squeak adds excitement for the dog and because they are squeezable, they don't break up when the dog chews them. So there aren't bits for her to swallow or choke on. I leave them out in the garden in all weathers and they're still in good condition (if a little dirty). I will definitely be getting more when these finally do wear out. I have a feeling that may be a while.

*** These are NOT the small size as stated in the description, they're the medium size!! ***I've purchased these "KONG" squeaky tennis balls for my dogs for 14-15 years. They've pierced the odd one or bitten the squeaker out very quickly but for the most part a 3 pack lasts 8 months out of each year whilst the weather is reasonable enough for playing fetch. My Jack Russell prefers the small size but these mediums will do for now until I can source some more in small again. The squeakers do tend to be the weak point & are usually the first thing to go but they're a lot stronger in general than they used to be years ago. These mediums are certainly thicker than the smalls are too.If a dog is determined to gnaw on them then they don't last 5 minutes but they do last longer for well trained dogs that drop on command. Saw these as addon items & immediately purchased some as my reserve was running low. Can't grumble for the price, more to the point my dog loves them. 4/5.

The answer is in the numbers and there are overwhelmingly more 5 star reviews than others. My GSD is a toy destroyer except when it comes to Kong products. They all seem to have a much longer product life than other brands. I bought a cheap ball launcher that came with a smart looking ball - ready to go! I also bought the 3 pack of Kong squeaker balls. The original ball is now somewhere in mid-Atlantic as I launched it from a beach in Brazil a week ago and it split after 5 launches. A single Kong ball has been launched more than 50 times into the ocean - 100 metres is easily achievable without wind, but with the wind in your face this distance is cut in half. The ball is still in pristine condition, still squeaks loudly and clearly has a lot of life left in it! I would highly recommend these balls, a steal at the price. The ball launcher at £3.50 also a steal but comes with a duff ball easily replaced by the Kong product.

I do worry about this ball as the squeaker bit is small and hard and I often find it in my dog's mouth. The felt comes off all over the place and she often has fluff in her eyes nose and mouth. That said, I would happily spend all my money buying these ball for her, because her face lights up every time a squeaky parcel pops through the post box. She goes a bit hysterical if I take too long to open the envelope. Needless to say, they are her favourite toy. Nothing else competes and my little JRT/chihuahua wants her balls not only for chasing, but also for chewing and tugs of war. fortunately she only plays when we are around so we are able to supervise her and control where any fluff or squeaker might end up.We do go through a lot of them so maybe I will spend all my money on balls but they are good value both cost wise and enjoyment wise. Prompt service too

I have brought a number of Kong balls for my French Bulldog who absolutely loves balls. Kong balls are by far the best I have found for strength and durability. The only reason I replace balls is if they get really dirty or lost. The squeak air balls are great for throwing, bouncing and squeaking. Although the squeak does tend to break after excessive use and squeezing but the balls remain strong.I have tried other brands of balls but my frenchie has a strong jaw, even for a little dog she would just destroy balls very quickly. The Kongs are the only balls that can withstand the test of time. They are also very reasonably priced in my opinion especially compared with sports tennis balls.Wouldrecommend these to any dog owner but especially an owner of any bull breed or dog with strong jaw.

Admittedly I have bought various sized Air Kong squeaker balls and will leave the same review for all of them as it applies to them all.Basically if you leave these with your dog unmonitored they will get ruined as others have said, BUT in my opinion this would be the case with most dog toys. As I have yet to buy him anything that has stood the test of time. And the demise of previous Air Kongs has happened to normal tennis balls, so I don't believe leaving anything less than 3 stars is fair for this product.I use these as a distraction and as a fetch game with my dog every morning. They are fantastic and he loves them to bits. My only gripe is that when he bit into it to squeak it he pushed the squeaker into the ball itself, but this was on one occasion, other than that they are great.

This is the 2nd pack of these which I have bought for my dog. The 1st pack were bought for Christmas and she loved them. She has numerous toys of all shapes and sizes but it is these balls which she goes back to time and time again. They are larger than normal tennis balls and they squeak which, of course, every dog loves. We keep them in the house for her to play and she would play catch all day long if you let her. The only downside is that they don't last particularly long. She is now onto her 3rd ball since Christmas and although it is still intact, it has already lost its squeak. This is in spite of the fact that she is not chewing them, only playing with them. However, she loves them so much that we will continue to buy them for her. They are not especially expensive.

I got a pack of these for my puppy (Border Collie) he was shredding regular tennis balls so I'd got a pack of these and the harder chuck it balls. He loves these best. I think he likes them with a bit of 'give' in when he handles them in his mouth and probably likes that it squeaks. He's on his second pack now as one was lost in nieghbours garden for a while (only just got it back!) and one of his doggy friends ran off with his other in the field, leaving him with only one left at the time so bought him another pack! They aren't a bad price though only seem to be able to get them sent out if spent £20 on Amazon first so will get more when have other things to buy too.I think will continue to buythese as he hasn't really touched the harder textured chuck it balls.

My dog absolutely loves tennis balls and squeaky toys, so to combine the two, brilliant. He's a very large GSD and really loves them. Considering how he munches, chobbles and throws them around, they stand up exceptionally well to him being so boisterous - that's definitely a plus point. He's still a puppy... a big one... so he's constantly wanting to play; frequently throwing them (quite a distance and with force), encouraging us to play with him - I wish they had a 'find me' device (like lost keys) so I could find all the ones he's lost... they're probably on the garage roof or over next door's fence, we've found one or two in some obscure places! He's costing me a fortune buying new ones...but he's worth it! A really great product though - recommended.

These balls are absolutely fantastic! I have a very energetic labrador who's loved to chase balls around since Day 1. However, being a labrador, she also likes to chew. Tennis balls weren't lasting longer than one trip outside, and then I found these! I buy these often, and the only reason I have to buy so many is because they get lost in the beach, woods and sea, but not destroyed! These balls fit perfectly in the "Sharples N Grant Chuck 'a' Longa" (which is a great thrower by the way!)These are the only balls I'll buy my labrador, as they're the only ones that survive! She also loves the fact that they squeak.Throwing one high up in the air and hearing it squeak as she catches it will always bring a big grin!

My dog LOVES these tennis balls, and they have lasted longer then any other cheaper, non-squeaky ones I've used before. The medium ones are the best size for ball throwers. They are only £2.45 on amazon, which is cheaper then any other shops I've bought them from before. I know they are now an "add-on-item" but I normally managed to buy a few packs of them so they last me a good while, or I just order my dog a new KONG TOY to make the delivery over £10 for free postage! Really recommend, although strong chewers would probably make them not last as long. I normally go through 1 of these KONG tennis balls in 2 weeks! Which considering how little time normally tennis balls last (1 a day) isn't bad!!!LOL

My lab loves these balls. I've tried a few different balls for her to chase but her (and her pals) love these 'squeakers' . They will always chase them as opposed to all the other balls I've tried. One thing to be aware of however, is , that if your dog is a chewer, they can easily be ripped to shreds. However, if your dog is a chaser/retriever, then buy these, your dog will love them.I think it's the noise they make when the dogs have them in their mouths, they can get a squeak out of them, which seems to make them more fun. They're also good for throwing into ponds, rivers etc as they float and the dogs can dive in, swim and retrieve them. They are now the only balls I buy for my dog.
