I purchased this to replace my Red Canon Printer which after a year started chewing up the paper, it was the same model as this one as I had only just purchased a load of new inks for it, It's a basic printer with limitations on paper weight and size, but it does for what I need it for with a copier and it prints both sides of the paper if needed, and it's cheap enough to replace, a set of inks could cost the same price as the printer and this does come with a set of full sized inks. so I class it as good value for money. As with all Canon printers you really do need to purchase Canon Inks, I've tried the compatible inks and they either won't register with the printer regardless of advertising

I have been using it occasionally in the few weeks that I have owned it. My two gripes are that 1) the exposed paper store hangs out of the front rather than being self-contained, thereby making it vulnerable to being dislodged. 2) During the first few uses it infuriated me by a) refusing to accept that I had loaded the paper (so it would not print) and b) when it did print ther were several paper jams. It got so that I was wary of even touching the (hanging out) paper in case it threw another fit. It seems to have settled down now but my current usage is light - so I'm not throwing away the packaging because I fear I might have to return it under guarantee if there are further problems.

A fairly good little printer, bought to work with a bunch of Macs across a wireless network. We had a bigger Pixma before, which died when the cats weed on it. This new one is not quite as neat - the paper sticks out with no cover over it and it turns itself off (presumably to save power). This is annoying when I have to run upstairs, turn it on, run downstairs, press print and then run back up to get the prints. The old Pixma used to be able to turn itself on when it detected an incoming job. We keep the office door closed now, to keep the cats out.

I have been using Canon Pixma MG3650 printers for some time and they generally produce good prints and operate well as scanners and copiers. However... when are Canon going to produce simple, easy to follow installation instructions. True, these are produced in multiple languages on enough paper for a reasonably-sized bonfire, but, had I not installed several such printers previously, I might have found the enclosed ‘instructions’ a touch confusing. Oh... and why am I being asked to assess the ‘warmth’ of the item?

This is the second MG3650 printer I have had. After my previous one (several years old) failed with partly used print cartridges in it, (which were worth more than what I paid for this printer!) I needed a printer that could take the same cartridges. After dismantling my old unit (so I could remove the cartridges), I put them in the new printer and hey presto, print capability was restored.At less than £30 for a Canon printer, you can't go wrong!

I used to sell PC & Printers for a living. Of all the "Home Use" printers I sold, I found Canon to be the most reliable to use. I also found it to be easy to refill ink cartridges making the canon a very economical machine too. Now retired, but still recommend Cano to all my friends when they ask, which is often. 5 out of 5 stars for the home office printer.

Basic set up is easy but a lot of the functions are beyond my skill level. the on line manual is difficult to follow if like me you only use the printer occasionally. For standard printing and photos it is great, I had the previous model and it is quicker and because of familiarity with the previous model I have had no problems.

Easy to setup, prints in minutes and WiFi connection makes it very convenient to print. Print quality is very good on both photos and documents. Mobile phone app could do with a bit of simplification.

Bought as a present for my daughter. She is delighted with it. Easy to set up, easy to use and fantastic quality prints. I was particularly impressed by the photo printing. A great buy.

Fairly straightforward to install. Print quality is good. This replaced an HP 7830 which was rubbish especially for printing photos so it was a relief to find this was so much better.

Once you have got it all set up the print quality is very good and it's very handy to copy anything with not having to worry about cables securing your laptop to your printer.

Always like Canon, this is what I wanted, easy to set up, like that I can still connect direct with a cable, good quality print outs in black and white and colour

it was ease to install and use and they even give you two new ink cartridges to get you started , i am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Works well, but preferred the small lift up panel to tell you what’s working and if there are any faults- my previous Canon printer had this! Otherwise good

The printer was well packed. It had new inks. Easy to install just as a copier, just plug it in. Quick, quiet and good quality copies. Good value for money
