This is a very well made and stylish coat for dogs who need a bit of extra warmth when it is exceptionally cold.We tried it on Louis, who is a working cocker spaniel, and it fitted him very well and he was very cosy.Obviously, you need to use common sense when you put a coat on a dog. If the breed is very energetic, they shouldn't need a coat while they are exercising hard, otherwise they could get heat stroke. But once you've finished their ball-throwing session and are strolling home with them on the lead, then that'd be the time they might get a bit chilled, especially if it's a windy day and they have been sweating.The actual coat is nicely stitched and of good quality fabrics.

Simply put this is the best quality I have seen in any dog jacket, beautifully made from excellent materials.It is easy to put on, even on a Fug who likes to wriggle, the sleeves are just the right size to provide warmth along with comfort. Once fastened with the two strips of velcro, they allow a bit of adjustability, the back can be fitted to suit the dog`s size. The hood is really cute looking but also gives great protection from the weather, and we have been using ours during Hurricane Jonas!There is ample room for the harness/lead strap and the pockets we use for treats as well as little waste bags.I love the badge and so many people have asked about this jacket. This is an excellent quality coat for dogs. There is a hole for the lead to attach, plus it has a warm fleece inner lining, is waterproof, has the cutest hood imaginable (although it does slip over the head our dog was not keen, until we got caught in a serious downpour, when he decided to live with it and hasn’t looked back!), pockets for those all important treats and does up simply with Velcro.I think that this coat looks really smart, practical and rugged. Ideal for long walks in the rain and it washes well too. This size did not have the arms (20W) but it was fine. It didn’t not seem to impede movement and is really warm and good quality.

This is a very cute parka for your dog, just like a human parka it is nice and warm.It has two pockets on the base of the coat which are functional pockets, I found that putting dog treats in here ( like the manufacturers suggest) is not a good idea as my dog was driven crazy but the smell of them, but they were handy for poo bags and anti bac hand gel.The coat is water resistant, though a heavy shower would probably get the better of it.It is well made with attention to detail and soft and comfortable next to the skin ( fur) thanks to a nice fleece lining.It also looks funky on.

I'll be honest, this took a while to get onto my dog. Not because of how its made, but because my dog doesn't really like wearing a collar let alone a jacket. Once on, it's very easy to adjust. It has a Velcro seal under the belly side of the jacket. Also has a nice fur collar to keep their neck warm and it's lined with sheepskin to keep them warm inside. There is a drawstring at the base should you want to tighten the jacket around the bum area. The jacket also has two pockets on the back so that you can carry dog treats inside them. Very nice.

Our terrier looks absolutely lovely in this - she looks better than I thought she would!...It is a fairly thick coat. Our terrier is on the lowest weight bracket for this parka and although it is ok in terms of fit, she would probably also fit in the next size down. It is easy to put on and very simple (velcro) to do up. The hood goes properly over the top of her head. The coat has a hole to fit the lead through onto her collar.It seems to be warm and she hasn't got wet through it when she has worn it in the rain.Would recommend.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I just love the faux sheep skin (the whole thing is actually made from polyester), the hood, the pockets and the little loop for hanging it up. Unfortunately, even though I have been sent a large size, it is still too small the Great Amazon Vine Testing Beagle so we cannot do it up. It is more than big enough length ways, so I can only conclude this is for very long, very thin dogs...a saluki, greyhound, vizla, or dalmation perhaps. I will report back more fully when I found a dog to test it on!

It's a nice parka, warm, decent quality, size 18 fits my cocker spaniel quite perfectly. My complaint, however, is the misleading description of the item: 1. Wrong pictures - all photos clearly show parka with sleeves, when the actual item is more like a vest, no sleeves whatsoever. 2. It says "removable hood" in the description - it is *not*, the hood is definitely not removable.Edit: added a couple of photos to show what I mean (the dog is still soggy after the walk, apologies).

Immediately apparent is the excellent quality of this coat/parka.Although described as water resistant I'm not sure if it could cope with a heavy downpour, but it is ideal for protecting your dog against the usual mud, puddles and splashes.The fleece lining is a welcome boost and will obviously serve to keep your pet warm.A hole is provided for access to a lead/collar and our Beagle looks very smart wearing it, and obviously very comfortable indeed.Highly recommended.

This Canada Pooch Army Parka is just perfect for keeping your dog warm and cosy whilst out and about in wintry weather! It is fleece lined and very easy fit onto your dog, having a velcro fastening. It is hooded, and the outer layer is waterproof and has pockets for walkies essentials! It has an opening so that you can attach the lead, and has leg coverings too! This is an ideal and very cute way to keep your best friend warm and dry, and I recommend it.

Quality, quality, quality!!! Worth every penny. Constant positive comments from people when on dog walks. Only the smaller sizes have the sleeves, though, so watch out for this. I bought large size and chose this because I wanted sleeves to protect my dog's joints because he has some congenital joint difficulties. However, was so impressed with quality, detail and appearance of this coat that I decided to keep it.

This is the first item of pet clothing I have ever used, but have to say it is really lovely.It is thick and warm, and although at first the dog wondered what I was doing, it is easy to put on, and looks lovely.Our dog loves it too, and does not squirm to pull it off which was a worry I had. It has a nice feel and a smart look and is something I would buy in future.

Took a punt on this as it only specified 'W' and not an actual size. It was an add on item so only a fiver but it was a gamble. I always buy Canada Pooch for my dogs as it is excellent quality. This is a fantastic coat... just wish it was bigger because the one I received is teeny tiny and wouldn't even fit a rabbit. It's now at the back of the wardrobe.

This coat looks great on our Beagle. I originally ordered the 18 as this was suggested for my breed in the product photo but I had to exchange it for a 22 as the first was far too tight.She has some room to grow too as she is not yet an adult. Overall we are happy with the purchase and it's well worth it for them cold walks in the winter!

This is the cutest piece of clothing for my dog that I’ve seen so far. Very warm and excellent quality from the look and feel of it - bargain! I was expecting it to be a little too big but it’s quite a nice and snug fit so perhaps they come up small. Sherlock is 7 months old French bulldog, neck 37cm, chest 56cm and is modelling size 16w :)
