I have always had a PROPER genuine winter coat as I say, Canada Goose (Mega Money) but well worth it. (But I was single then and no one saying HOW MUCH). I now own various down jackets, Tog24, Helly Hansen Verglass, HH Salt Power, Alpaca Insulated Jacket and my new one a few weeks ago TNF McMurdo 2 Parka. So I looked through all the CG jackets and Parka but she didn't want one so I let her choose her own and she chose the Didriksons. I had heard of Didriksons and knew that they were a named brand but never owned one before. I can tell you that this coat is brilliant, it is a top quality coat and made to a very high standard,my wife wore it 2 days ago in -3 degrees and snowing like mad stood queuing outside our local post office for 20 minutes and when she got home she actually admitted that this is the best coat she has ever had. She said usually she is shivering cold with her other winter coats and that she feels the wind through them and the water leaks through but none of that with the Didriksons she says she was toasty and warm and even though it was snowing heavy she stayed dry and the shocker was her agreeing with me that the coat is worth every penny. She is also very happy with the fit and she thought the illuminous strip in the right front pocket is a great idea to have hanging out of the pocket in the dark to make you visible to the traffic. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase Didriksons for myself in the future when I need a new winter Parka.

Excellent, stylish waterproof winter jacket suitable for long walks with or without a dog!Long enough to keep me warm and dry even in very wet conditions. A generous fit.
