Terrible product. I bought it because it has good reviews on Amazon... Water tasted good for two days on first and second filter, then back to tap water taste. On third filter it tasted like my usual tap water from day one. When it tasted good, it was really good pure taste. Shame it was only for two days (my water is not that hard!).Unfiltered water drips into the filtered part through two holes that secure the top, although in my case that makes no difference as the water tastes unfiltered anyway.Can’t comment on the magnesium part as I have no way of testing it, although that was the main reason I wanted this jug.Badly designed handle,

A fair price & quick delivery, well packed.I have v.hard water where I live. I bought this water filter because it claims to remove lime scale. However, the lime scale is just as bad !The only good thing about this brand Is that my tea tastes better. I think the Brita jugs are better quality. I could have saved myself the cost of a new jug & stuck with Brita. But unfortunately Brita don't remove lime scale either.However, if scale is not a problem in your area I would recommend it.
