At work there are a number of choices for drinks1. Tap water on the 13th floor ( no water vending here)2. Hot water dispenser3. Bring your own coffee /teaI have an intolerance to caffeine so number 3 is out the window so im always knackered.I don't fancy drinking hot water that is in a dispenser never serviced or cleanedThe last option is tap water.My tap water at work Is London Bexley water. It is bitter, it's a tad murky and doesn't taste right.I took my first step buying a Brita filter bottle. At first I thought it tasted no different but once that carbon filter kicks in your can honestly notice the flavour changeThe key thing here is the water must be really cold.

I really like these filters. Less plastic as only a small amount of plastic in the packaging. I would have preferred no plastic as trying to go plastic free. However, this is the only fault I can find. The filters themselves are natural, made from coconut carbon. Normally I can’t drink tap water due to the taste. Through these filters it just tastes like bottled water. I am saving the planet at a rate of four bottles a day thanks to these clever filters. I have found that by cleaning the filter in boiling water once a week, I get six weeks use out of one filter before the taste of tap water starts to seep through. Would highly recommend.

If you use a Brita water bottle (the tall bottles, rather than the jugs you keep in the fridge) these disks are probably the right ones for you. The box contains three individually wrapped disks. To use, remove your old disk and throw it away. Soak the new disk in a cup of boiling water for about five minutes or so, then pop it into the top of your bottle. Fill the bottle with water, and away you go. The filters are good for about a month. Yes, they're a bit expensive, and I wish you could get boxes of more than three, but they do the job perfectly in my water bottle.

I mostly use these with water collected from streams etc. and purified by boiling or water purification tablets when out and about. It does a great job of removing any particles remaining and although it doesn't completely remove any unpleasant taste, it is a very noticeable improvement. These filter discs are great and even come individually wrapped which is handy for travel and holiday uses. Although they are expensive, amazon has them at the cheapest price that I have found so far.

It's great that they're recyclable (just find the BRITA box at your local supermarket or check their website for other locations).The tap water doesn't taste great where I work. These filters do a great job in making it taste better and removing some impurities. Just make sure you follow the instructions for cleaning these (submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes occasionally for hygiene reasons).

So simple to use in the drinking bottles, after soaking a new filter in cold water for one minute it simply drops in the slot in the bottle. I was concerned when purchasing that the water filtered this way would not taste as clean as a Brita jug......I need not have worried its tastes just as clean & fresh, saving a fortune on bottled water & thus ecologically more responsible too!

Overall a great product, just like the bottle! The filters come individually wrapped in a nice little box! Each filter looks original and lasts for a month. Unfortunately, I couldn't find instructions anywhere, it's a good thing I kept the original box of the bottle. Don't forget to submerge the filter in boiling water for 10 minutes every week. :)

Does what is says on the packet :-) excellent value. I have used a different brand of filter water bottle which had a filter attached to a straw. Although this was a good product they have discontinued making the filters and those available elsewhere are ridiculously expensive so these filters (and the water bottle!) get a big thumbs up from me!

Really does make tap water taste great at first but if you don’t change the filter after a couple weeks it gives a nasty foul taste and smell. Although I love my water bottle and filter (it’s always a pain stocking up on bottled water) it is annoying to have to keep buying the micro discs and I don’t think the discs are cost expensive.

Makes tap water taste great!Brill value for moneyEach disc lasts 150L/4 weeks so this pack of 3=450L/12weeks of water for £12. Before I bought these discs and the Brita water bottle, I was spending around £6 a week on 24×500ml water bottles (12L). Therefore, this is saving me a lot of money and reducing my plastic usage!! Win win.

Delivery took a week (however this was expected so no issue). Easy to change and use. Only concern is the ongoing and increasing cost of these filters. 3 in a pack is very costly. Will be looking at alternative options as feel the cost is not justified. Saying that, product itself is of good quality and arrived when expected.

In my opinion one of the better brita portable drinking filters. One lasts a month and with three in a box they should last awhile. Don't use it for more than a month because I found it did start to taint the water. The only issue is the cost for the pack, but I suppose how much you would spend on bottled water would be more.

Was pleasantly surprised to find Argos cheaper than online stores when buying these.If you have a bottle that needs then then you don't really need a review to know what they are! If you don't I guess you're looking at buying them plus the bottle to put them in. Works pretty well as a package.

These discs are fabulous. Loving this product. Onto my last week of the current discs and the water still tastes good. Since having this my water intake has quadrupled to what it should be for a healthy active lifestyle. Do remember to cup soak them in boiling water once a week.

I get sore throat from this... I guess it is not for everyone.. My other half doesnt get sore throat from this... London tap water is very hard and Brita filter is needed.. I prefer Tyne and Wear/Northumberland tap water, it is so soft and no need for Brita filters.
