This water filter jug is absolutely AMAZING! As where I live the water is absolutely appalling; I didn’t think that a water filter would be strong enough to get at least close to bottled water results. But I was wrong! I absolutely LOVE IT! Whenever someone comes around to my place I present it to them: I find it very stylish (unlike the other/previous BRITA jugs), the water tastes amazingly and it’s got a great capacity (I would really recommend taking the XL one rather than the normal one. As I am already filing my XL one up 3 times a day. With the small one you’ll have to fill it up after every use. (Keep in mind that you can’t really have non filtered water in it whilst poring filtered one out)),

I am so impressed by this Style XL filter jug!Yes it is big, it holds two full sized kettles of water, which is perfect for us.It is surprisingly comfortable to hold and carry, despite its size. It also pours really well.The silicone lid is nice and large and will open more than 90 degrees, making filling really easy and splash free.The thing I am happiest with: the lid is slightly recessed into the jug, so if you accidentally overfill a bit it does not run over the side of the jug. It also does not run out of the handle like some of the older designs could. No more wet puddles on the worktop.I am not impressed with the electronics on it (there is a LED that is green and turns red when the filter should be changed - according to Brita).

I've been using Brita products for a few years now and the pervious version of this had it quirks, such as the cover/hole falling out and not being very big to allow you to put water on.This new design seems to make things a lot easier to maintain/clean in the long term, the filter change is strange and seems more of a ploy to make you buy the same thing for more.The water tastes just as clean as before and does a great job, it does appear that the water gets filtered quicker which is a bonus and maybe holds more.The senson on the top appears to work on tipping motion, so will need to see how that holds up, but overall theyve made some good changes that make replacing parts alot easier.Shame that dont do it in class instead of plastic,

We have had a couple of other water filters before and personally for me this was the first one when I finally felt the difference between watter straight from the sink and from water filter - the taste is really great. Also, design is very nice - subtle curves and transparency makes it look modern and elegant at the same time. Great item for a reasonable price!(-) The only one thing we do not like about it, from time to time filter releases tiny pieces of activated charcoal. We checked on internet and it was written it is ik and it does not impact health in a negative way, but still we prefer our water with no unexpected stuff in it. Hopefully,

I have had an older style Brita jug and the. Bought a smaller one when that broke. However I am clumsy and the new one broke very easily. So this is my third Jug I’m pleased it doesn’t have the hinged spout cover and the tab on the filling door is silicone. As these are the bits that usually break.It’s a good large capacity and I like the new LED meter which looks at how much you refill it as well as length of time the filters been in. Although not sure how it does that?!But I always found on my first jug that I got more than 4 weeks out of a filter because I didn’t fill it up that much. So I’m hoping this is somehow going to work that out?!It pours well and it’s a rounded design.

I had no hesitation to purchase this Brita filter jug. Have been using the size down for around a year, but just wanted something larger. Pictured shows both chambers filled.This is perfect.Less trips to keep refilling it.Comes with one filter.Superb for filtering water especially if you're in a hard water area. You really can taste the difference of tap Vs filtered - handy to let you know when to change the filter, awful when that happens after you've made a cuppa haha!Very sleek considering it is a larger size. Definitely looks better than the smaller jug. If you want something modern, go for this.

This new Brita water filter ,is so much better than my old previous model, when I filled up the old model ,I had to be really careful not to fill up to much ,most of the time the excess water would run down the handle .this new model is totally clear ,you can see the water level, but the really cool feature ,is the traffic light LED filter condition indicator ,green filter is good , orange time to think about changing the filter , red time to change .Very happy with the filter ,and my water has never been so clean .

This is easy to clean, fill and change the filters. I also think it looks the nicest of all the Brita filter jugs. Two slight negatives, but not enough to put me off: the LED that is meant to warn you when the filters need changed has never worked. Not too bothered, as I just change every 4 weeks anyway. The white plastic handle has become slightly loose, but I don't feel like it's going to break anytime soon, so not overly bothered. These are the only negatives that prevent it getting the full five stars Fromm me

I've finally decided to go for filtered water and I'm pleased. This jug is big so get smaller if you want it to go in your fridge. I use a small unit to pour it into for fridge. Its handy for us to have the larger jug. We've got quickly used to using it. Indicator light is useful to know when to change filter and replacement filters arent bad in cost. Water definitely better clean tasting no nasty chlorine and doesnt fur kettle. Still early days for us but happy so far.

This Brita water filter is a need for Cambridge city, UK. A location that is very high in limescale levels. This works. A new tasting in water does get used to, but that's normal.With a filter replacement for me, every month (subject to your usage and location of levels of limescale) Very easy to put together and the instruction is clear. Videos online is an addition to assist your help. The taste is clean and refreshing. Furthermore, it is so easy to clean and

I love it, especially the bigger size. BUT it took a while to get the green light to come on I had to e-mail Brita for an answer. Okay, So when you first use it, pop a cartridge in. Fill the jug. When you’ve fitted the little light indicator to the lid press it down for about 5-10 seconds, it will go green, so when your pouring you’ll see the light stays green this means the water cartridge is fine. Orange it’s starting to run low, Red, change the cartridge.

I love this water filter jug. It's our first and a godsend, the taste is wonderful clean, crisp and fresh. It's got an indicator on when the filter needs changing and is easy to clean. It doesn't have to be stored in the fridge. We have now lowered our footprint by a huge amount, so we are clearly doing a lot better. Would definitely get this again and if your thinking about it, just buy it and I can honestly say you won't regret it. Also great value to.

Had a "normal" Brita before. This one looks much much sleeker. Really like a design object on our table, not a cheap piece of plastic.I went for an XL this time, which avoids having to fill it every two glasses. But you have to take into account the weight: because of the balance of the jug, lifting 1.5 liters of water in it feels heavier than lifting a mineral water bottle.I hope that the plastic will not get water stains like the previous one did.

I am doing a review for this even though I sent it back. I did not realise it would be so big and for me I found it to large for my needs. I have used Britta for years so I exchanged it for a smaller size. This is a super product and perfect for a family size kitchen or those needing the extra volume of water. I have rated it on my past and current experience of using similar Britta water filters.

I ordered 2, one for the fridge and one kept at room temperature. Easy to set up and the simple green to red indicator for the filter cartridge is really good. The water tastes lovely - much better than bottled. Just discovered that the used cartridges can be taken to Tesco for recycling. As with other reviews I have deducted a star for the internal plastic packaging on each component of the jug.
