Finally....I have tried so many different supposedly "Long lasting" lipsticks over the years. From the cheaper end of the market, right through to the more premium end. I have never found a long lasting lipstick that actually lives up to it's promise. From drying out my lips and making them go crumbly, to fading out around the middle and leaving a lip line....I have just had frustration after frustration along my journey, as well as throwing money down the drain. However, I feel with this lipstick, the formula really works for me. It doesn't dry out my lips (although I do suffer from dry, chapped lips so I do add on a dab of Vaseline here and there throughout the day)

I was super excited to receive this. I don't usually wear lipstick due to not finding a good colour that suits me (I have a pale porcelain complexion with dark brown hair and blue eyes). I tend to stick to a clear gloss or just a glossy lip balm. I also tend to suffer from dry lips so a lip stick is usually replaced with a lip balm.This lip stick arrived in the colour Abracadabeige which is a beautiful light rose colour with a hint of beige, definitely not a boring beige colour.First of all I liked the packaging, a nice black case which looks classy and expensive. Opening the lid I was surprised to see the tip of the lipstick was in a lovely triangle shape that actually sits on the lip with ease,

I am an ardent collector of deep red lipsticks, i have quite a collection as im quite fussy about them!This is a standard style lipstick, rather than a super long lasting lipstick (you know the ones, that come with a top coat). It will stay on your lips as long as you dont eat or drink anything but you will need to reapply if you are on a night out!The tube is a different shape than a usual lipstick, its a teardrop shape rather than round and has a slanted scooped out top. This shape is actually perfect for applying it to lips.The lipstick goes on well and feels nice on. Its not drying but doesnt feel greasy. Its a matte satin finish. I got this product about a week ago and have occasionally put it on. The product design is very simple and the color appearing at the bottom is the exact one as the lipstick itself. The one issue I would have with this product is the feeling on my lips. As soon as it touches it, it does feel like the stick itself is melting away, I even stopped once, being too scared of having too much or even having some melt down my face. Nonetheless, after about 5min, that feeling fades away and the result is equivalent to a "mate" color. It is quite a dark beige compared to what people tend to consider as beige but I do like it. It's a good "dark" color for summer but would be probably "light-medium" for winter.

I’m really impressed with this Bourjois lipstick in shade rouge fabuleux. I’ve never used this brand before but thought the product glided onto the lips effortlessly leaving a really bold red shade. I would say the colour could be compared to macs ruby woo, it’s really is a very strong bold red colour. The texture itself is a little more glossier to apply that then usual matte colours I usually wear however it wasn’t sticky like a lip gloss. The packaging was cute and compact it felt and looked quite expensive and not plasticy like a lot of other brands. It had a generous amount of product in and a pleasent smell to it. I wore this colour to dinner with friends and was really impressed with how long the colour lasted.

This is the first time trying lipstick from Bourjois and I am very impressed with this particular one. It's a smooth, satin finish which I love as my lips are dried out by matte finishes. The application is easy because of the shape the lipstick is in (flat, central surface and defined edges which is great if you omit lip liner). The colour itself is perfect for me as I love neutral tones for an everyday look but it's pigmented enough to add a little something. I also love these dark beigey tones for my complexion (mixed race skin) and as I have naturally plump lips this sort of colour compliments my make up for a more subtle look. First, the packaging for this lipstick is beautiful and sleek. The bit at the bottom which displays the colour is also very useful.The lipstick itself is interestingly shaped, a kind of teardrop shape which is concave in order to curve against your lip. This made it slightly more precise to apply, although you still can't be too slapdash with it, as it's a strong colour.The lipstick is light, buttery and moisturising upon application. There's loads of pigment so you get good coverage without it feeling heavy. It settles into a fairly matt effect, although not the "hard" matt you get with lip paint.The colour is gorgeous. A strong red with blueish undertones, slightly burgundy.

ProsI really like the texture and feel of this lipstick on. It is comfortable and lightweight, it feels like a tinted lipbalm, and stays quite smooth, but more pigmented.The colour Bohemian Raspberry is a very pretty nude for me. I am Indian so have dusky pink lips, this is slightly lighter pink with an undertone of a raspberry type shade-very natural. It would suit someone who is looking for a day today look that is not too obvious. It can be easily whipped on, with or without liner. I have only tested it on a bare face, but I think it would look really great with a 'made up' face.ConsNot a great smell...not necessary bad but not nice either.Packaging looks nice but is a bit stiff to take off and replace cap.

I absolutely love love love the colour of this lipstick. It’s beautiful! It such a nice creamy consistency and just glides onto ur lips and they feel so moisturised. I like the shape of the lipstick too, it’s not ur usual shape and goes on really easily. My only criticism would be the packaging. I find it really annoying to put the lid back on! This is very trivial and could just be my lipstick, but rather then just slotting it back on u have to have it in the correct place to line up and go on properly. So if ur in a rush u can’t just click it back on and go. U have to keep twisting the lid around to get it into the correct place! I did find this quite irritating especially if u want a quick application.

I don't normally wear red lipstick much as the colour tends to need a lot of maintenance. It often means having to reapply often . Until I discovered this product ! Firstly the tube is really classy looking and a great compact size to pop in your bag. The lipstick is easy to turn up and is super easy to apply thanks to its lightweight formula and the shape of the lipstick bullet . It just glided onto my lips with minimum effort . I was so impressed with how smooth the texture was , the saturation and intensity of the colour . All while being so light almost like applying a lipbalm . I really liked the colour it really made my face light up . The colour itself lasted really well . It lasted all day ,
