Bourjois Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet is the new sister product to the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipsticks. Friendly warning; the colour pigments are supposed to be sheer and gentle, in comparison to the strong and longer lasting formula of the original line. VIPeach is a neutral toned pinky peach liquid lipstick, which sets to a matte finish. It's a fresh take on a nude shade that looks good all year round, that goes with all of my preferred eye makeup looks. I think this is one of those shades that will look good on most skintones.I love liquid lipsticks, and this softer formula gives a fresh shade, with a matte finish and good staying power of a traditional lipstick [around 4 hours],

Bourjois Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet is a beautiful lipstick/balm which creates a lovely sheer finish on the lips, at the same time providing a nice tender treatment at the same time for the lip area, leaving behind soft, plump moisturised lips.The actual balm is not a heavy covering but light and for me pleasant to use on a hot day when I want to use a light tinted moisturiser instead of a full blown foundation, therefore, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet is the perfect "lippie" to use with such a light facial covering as simply provided me with a nice healthy colouring on my lips which was aided by the very handy applicator.One thing I do love about using this actual lipstick

This is a lovely, lush lipstick. I have used Bourgois lipstick in the past and always liked their sponge applicators - I find them very easy to use and accurate as well. As for the lipstick - well, I was expecting orange - but when you finally open it up it actually is ORANGE. It is amazingly bright - but happily when it goes on your lips it ends up looking exactly shade you first thought it was.It is smooth and soft - almost feels fluffy, it's so soft and creamy - and goes on very easily. Looks very even and smooth and, despite looking very glossy on the applicator, it comes out matte on your lips and has a dry finish, so not at all sticky.

Love the colour, but it comes out much lighter in intensity than I was expecting.I've recently tested the Maybelline Vivid Matt Liquid which is similar to this in format and applied with a sponge-tipped applicator like this, but where the Maybelline is strong and definitely vivid, this is a much lighter formulation that gives more of a tinted-balm effect rather than full-on colour.In the summer daytime, I actually prefer a lighter look on my lips, so I'll still use this. Incidentally, the 10-hour claim is poppycock!Unsurprisingly though!! I've never worn a lipstick that actually lasted more than a few hours.

Comes in a rather nice square shaped bottle with a pink lid. It is screw top which is pulled when loosened to reveal the sponge applicator.Foursome reason I expected a thin mixture but in fact it is quite thick It is easy to apply but I found it needed to coats to give a smooth finish.There is a slight fragrance which is difficult to determine. The colour is a deep pink but very pleasant and great for both daytime and evening. I did find some bleeding though. It lasted well but not the 10 hours that is stated. Although it is said to be moisturising I found after a couple of hours that my lips felt quite dry and I had to apply some balm.

My tip for wearing this: swipe it on like usual, press your lips together like usual, and then use your fingers to spread the colour evenly (literally takes 3 seconds). What you get is a very natural and even colour, leaving your lips looking like it is naturally tinted. And also feels like almost nothing.I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to write this time because I always see negative reviews when I think it is a great product. If you read the description, it is exactly what that is. Don't expect it to go on like regular liquid lipsticks because it is different. I think it gets bad reviews because people expect this to act like usual liquid lipsticks but that's not what this product

Bourjois products always have that characteristic scent of a French pharmacy, and this lip gloss is no exception. It smells light, fresh and clean. The tube is small and the applicator is a sponge pad - a great size, not too small and not too big. The product itself is a matte liquid which dries on the lip but still feels moist. It doesn't feel drying at all. The coverage is quite sheer, it's really more of a tint than a lip colour, so if you're looking for a bright colour and lots of coverage, I would say this isn't for you. But, if you like a more subtle sheen of matte colour, this would be perfect. It has good staying power and looks good.

This formulation of a sheer matte lip colour seems to be the trend of summer 2016 with all the major brands launching a version: this one is less dense than Maybelline's Vivid Matte range, but not quite as easy to apply as L'Oreal's Sexy Balms. The sponge applicator gives a relaxed look and the product feels lightweight on the lips but certainly doesn't last for 10 hours as claimed. Applied over a balm and/or moisturising primer, it is comfortable, adds a pop of colour which you can control, and is easy to reapply on the go. A young and fun product.

Firstly, the good! This is a lovely sheer colour that can be built up to a lovely raspberry shade. It is also extremely moisturizing for the lips and feels beautiful on. It also keeps your lips nourished for ages.it also feels beautifully light and soft on the lips.The drawback for me is that the colour comes off very quickly.

Great price as an add on item but be aware that this is one of the sheer versions of the product rather than the full cover ones which isn't particularly obvious, especially if you don't know the range. Feels very light and soft on. Sheer, matte coverage. Non sticky or drying with a hint of colour.

A lovely orange-pink lipstick with an ultra smooth velvety texture. It glides on easily and does feel lovely. However the colour doesn't last too long and so it does need to be reapplied frequently throughout the day.A great quality product that feels really luxurious.

Love this lipstick. More like a lip balm really, adds a lovely bit of matte colour that lasts but maybe not as long as 10 hours as claimed. Moisturising, the lipstick makes your lips feel plumped and soft. Not too overwhelming in feel or colour.

These are beautiful lipsticks in these delightful revised cases- smooth and neat finish and great price point for a luxury product- this colour is a beautiful summer rose.

Perfect light and matte rose pink - my favourite, as it’s natural and light and stays on, and feels like you’re not wearing it

This lippy is ok.It doesn't last as long as description though.The colour is really strong.I like this lip gloss.
