I have fallen head over heels for these lipsticks. They are my new favourite from the bourjois rouge range. All of the other formulas that I've tried from bourjois have been some of my favourite liquid lipsticks. These are of the same great quality that I've come to expect from the brand! The thing I like most about these is that they do not have to compromise on the pigment of colour in order to be moisturizing. Every colour is very pigmented and bold and will last for a very long time. At the same time, it feels very comfortable to wear and doe not dry my lips out in the slightest!I have to say that because these are called 'laque', that I was expecting something a lot more shiny and glossy on the lips but that's not the case here at all. When you first put them on there is a slight hint of shine that makes your lips look more full. It's not an overly shiny finish and still looks very mature. The shine does wear off after a while and you get more of a satin finish, which I like. I are say that if you applied more of the product and layer it up, that it'd end up looking more glossy. The colour lasts for hours on me and stays comfortable to wear for the whole time. The range of colours is great and are all very wearable. I'd love to see more nudes to be added becuase there is only two neutral colours at the moment, and those are the types of colour that I'd wear all the timeI'd highly recommend these because they are a steal for the price. I've also heard that they are a dupe for the Giorgio Armani lip magnets, which are around the £30 mark.

I was offered a Bourjois Rouge Laque to try and review, I like the Bourjois brand, so I thought I'd give it a go. I am a bit cautious about buying make-up from websites, unless I know it very well, because it is difficult to get a really good idea about the colour. This is a neat package, with a screw lid and the usual soft tipped sponge applicator. The colour is matched to the container, although in real life this is a bit pinker/bluer than it looks on my screen which gives it a slightly more conker-red-brown overtone. The liquid is smooth and dense, giving good coverage. I found it took a little bit of time to dry. I wouldn't put it on and instantly kiss someone, I'm sure they'd come off the pinker for it.It is scented but I stopped noticing the smell quite quickly. I wasn't that impressed by its staying power but 'm usually a lipstick wearer and the feel is different on the lips; this is drier and slightly more rigid and I wonder whether that made me expect it to be better lasting than a lipstick. My overall view is that I won't be rushing out to replace my lipsticks with this but if I saw a colour I really liked I probably would buy it.

Gave this product to my wife who wrote the following.Ooooh. Exciting.Very strong pigment colour. Vibrant. Stains your lips. The first coat seems very dry & a bit difficult to apply accurately so be careful as it does stain. The second coat however is smooth & much easier to apply. Lips look smooth & lush but colour sticks very well. It does mark cups & other people (probably fabric too) so be careful.Feels like it'll last for weeks never mind hours but I'll have to update you on that.Very nice bottle with opaque laquer colour of lip colour & gold lettering. Applicator's ok but not the best I've ever used.Really big identifying colour no on bottom for us visually challenged lasses lol.Although it's only a sticker so easy to lose in time.Lips feel quite moisturised whilst wearing but not slick like with a gloss.Overall I really like at the moment. A recommend from me.

This lipstick isn’t nude; I would describe it more as a subtle deep rose colour. It gives your lips a deep pink colour that is initially a little glossy. I thought that this product was a little thick and greasy when applied, and also the consistency of it was a little too thin to apply with the sponge applicator head. I found that I achieved a better look by also using a nude lip pencil to give good definition of the lips; otherwise this lipstick tends to bleed slightly. The staying power is adequate and does stain the lips slightly and the colour is fantastic. I really like how it looks again my fairly pale complexion. This lipstick offers an obvious colour, but when it dries it has a more toned down matte texture which I prefer.

I was expecting a lipstick but what you get is a tube with a chiselled-edge sponge applicator, much like a lip gloss. This isn't, though, a gloss: it does go on with a glossy shine, but dries to a matte finish. I found it has a tendency to bleed into surrounding skin unless I use it with a lip liner. It does have reasonable staying power: you don't get a residue left on a glass or cup and once dry the lips retain a stain. The colour of this Majes Pink is quite bright, but once the initial glossy effect has gone it settles down to something less startling. I doubt I could wear it with my usual deathly pallor, but having just come back from three weeks in Latin America I actually have a bit of a tan and the colour looks good.

Beautiful colour however it has a sponge wand applicator so i would describe it more as a lip gloss which i find a little off putting. Saying that I was extremely impressed as it gives a matt finish which looks exactly like a lipstick but with easier application. I would however say, contrary to other reviews i have seen, that the product does come off very easily when drinking and eating etc leaving a stain of the colour, which is by no means a bad thing but it needs regular topping up for bold colour up-keep. i also found it to be quite drying on my lips. Despite this i really love the colour and finish and so definitely recommend this product, especially to those who are a little scared of using bright lipsticks.

This liquid lipstick smooths on easily using the supplied applicator brush, but I've found it to be a bit prone to bleeding without a lip liner. The colour is strong and shiny, without the lipstick feeling heavy or sticky. The colour is a deep, brownish red with pink tones to it.After a few hours and a couple of cups of coffee the shiny finish has worn off, leaving this having more of a lip stain effect. In this state, the colour lasted really well. For me, the initial colour is rather more intense than I'd normally choose to wear in the daytime - quite bold against my pale colouring - and I'm more comfortable once this has toned down.Has a subtle, and quite traditional 'lipstick' scent.

Bright colours, nice glossy finish strong colours, comfortable to wear. The big downside is that the glossy finish comes off quite easily (especially if eating), leaving more of a stain colour, which to be fair does have longevity. This is almost like solid lipstick from many years ago; very vibrant colours, leaves a massive lipstick mark if you kiss someone with it, traditional lipstick scent, starts off very glossy but loses the gloss and diminishes to a stain if anything touches your lips (but quite a long time before it disappears completely).4 stars if not for the longevity, 5 stars if you are happy with reapplying.

I love Bourjois products and have used them for years so was keen to review this lipstick. It looks from the outside like an ordinary one but instead it comes with an applicator. This particuar colour, Selfpeach, is a lush, strong colur - pretty much the same as the tube it comes in - a deep orangey red. It looks great on. The scent is lovely and the texture is smooth and creamy as it goes on your lips. It is absorbed pretty much instantly, leaving a smooth, almost matte finish - and it feels like it is sealing your lips to prevent loss of moisture. I really like it.

This liquid lipstick from Bourjois is impressive. It comes in a sleek case that houses a applicator within to apply the lipstick. I did think it was going to be glossier than it is but nevertheless is lovely to wear with long lasting colour -until I had a cup of coffee and then my cup was wearing it.The colour whilst not suiting me was an intense red berry which on the right person would look stunning. I pay a lot more for my lipsticks but am going to get one of this range in the right shade for me. A really good lipstick at an even better price.

This was very, very red. It went on easily with the applicator, like a gloss and even had a nice sheen to it. Unfortunately, by midday, after having had a couple of coffees and eaten lunch, the shine was gone and I was left with stained lips. Luckily, I'd anticpated this and had popped it into my handbag, so merely needed to refresh the application. I did find it tends to bleed, so make sure you put on a quality lip liner first to reduce this (though my lipliner outlasted this, so i did not ahave to reapply my liner when I freshened this).

This is a muted, not-quite matte shade of red which I liked very much - bright or deep reds don't suit me as I don't have very full lips and the result can be harsh. You apply the colour with the integral sponge applicator rather than with a traditional lipstick or lipbrush and it has fairly good staying power - until you eat something, after which it all comes off and needs to be reapplied, so minus one star for that.Very pleased with this overall, though - makes a nice change from the browns, tans and nudes I usually wear.

The lipstick / liquid arrived promptly and well packaged. It applies using a 'wand'. The lipstick is 'watery' as it is applied and dries to a fairly matt bold colour. It was perhaps slightly more difficult to remove than I would have liked. The colour was nice and bold, but I wasn't sure about the matt look. However, its longevity means I found this a useful lipstick to have and one worth considering.

This lip liquid comes in a solid case which has a firm fitting lid which hold the applicator. I tried it on its own and found it easy to apply. I also tried it with Bourjois Number 6 pencil and it suited well. Never been a great fan of liquid lipstick but I must admit I found this one very good. It remained in place for some hours before disappearing during a meal. I like it
