This is a little item, and a novel one. It’s a mascara that you apply to your eyebrow. The idea has some merit, in that it enables you to define the shape of your brow in the same way as you would with eyelashes, except that with lashes it’s also about lengthening and thickening, which is probably not what you want to happen to your brow.It’s a creamy liquid with applicator, which you use to apply to the brow. My wife loves the colour and texture of this eyebrow mascara from Bourjois and is using the Blond shade which is the lightest of three. She has found that this unusual mascara is easy to apply and although she does not normally wear this type of product on her brows it seems to work surprisingly well. There are currently three natural shades in this Brow Design Gel range on the same Amazon product page – Blond, Number 001, Chatain, Number 002 and Brun, Number 003; each shade is the same price of around seven pounds. Bourjois is a French cosmetics company, with a Parisian theatre heritage, and has over 150 years of make-up expertise – it is now part of the American Coty group.

Bourjois Brow Design Brow Gel - 01 BlondI've used all sorts of different eyebrow products and this is a good one. It's a little tube of coloured gel with an applicator brush in the lid. The gel is quite light but does sort of 'set' on the eyebrows, holding them in place. It coats the individual hairs and gives a full, natural look that's really good.A couple of reservations. First, the colour is very pale so it will only suit people with blonde or light brown hair. Second, you'll need to take care to offload some of the gel first by scraping it against the inner edge of the bottle so the brush isn't overloaded and you apply too much (this happened to me the first time,

Good for eyes...MAYBE IT'S GOOD==============As a mascara for your eyes it actually quite good. But for the eyebrows it's just ok.MAYBE IT'S EASY TO APPLY======================It is easy to apply and it's soooo quite a deep colour. If you're after that dark sultry look- this may be for you.MAYBE IT'S CLUMPY================Not a clump in sight. Perfect.MAYBE IT'S MAGIC===============It feels like it is. It makes my lashes look HUGE. In a good way. On the brows, it just doesn't work - I prefer a pencil.Boujois======It's not a brand I'd used before but obviously I'd heard of them. Overall a really nice mascara. If you need a dark, easy, and not too expensive, mascara this is one to consider.

I had never tried an eyebrow mascara before. As I have a distaste for the latest fad in clown eyebrows, I thought I would have a go at a little diy. The product comes in a small tube, and is very similar to the mini mascara I have seen. It even has a mascara style brush. The brow gel itself can be a bit gloopy, but it was my first go. I built it up in small strokes, having first used an eyebrow comb. It reminded me a bit of tinted Vaseline. It went on pretty well, and didn't look too weird, though I had ordered the wrong colour, blonde. A light brown or reddish tint would be more me I think. However, it did stay put, and lasted well. It also didn't feel stiff or caked.

I prefer a more natural look, so I don't like using an eyebrow pencil. But as what were strong, natural brows become paler, and less defined with age, this proved the perfect product for restoring them to their former glory,If you are seeking precision definition, then this may not be the right product for you, but for a more natural look, this is superb. The difference was immediately noticeable, without the result looking at all artificial.This colour proved good for a natural dark blonde as part of evening make-up, but for daytime it is a little too dark - unless you are aiming for the "fair hair, dark brows" look.I was impressed by its staying power; it is suitable for all day wear.

This gel takes a while to get used to but once you are familiar with the consistency and the sweeping application technique it does make it easier to use.If you do not scrape off excess product from the applicator, this can lead to a messier end result.The colour match was good for me and the overall look was not too dramatic or false looking-the mascara helped thicken out my thinning brows.I found the gel helped to tame my brows and hold them in place all day. It was less challenging than my eye mascara to remove at the end of the day.I would recommend this product and the price is good for a quality product which is not far off more expensive competitors in terms of performance.

Bourjois Brown design Brow gel is a very easy to use product with a mascara type wand that you brush into browsThis Brow gel is quite light blonde looking when you first look at it but it goes on much darker than it looks.Super easy to use brow gel, no skill needed.Thickens and colours brows nice and easilyHas saved me having my brows dyed all summer as I can use this brow gel to get the colour and thickness I want depending on whether I want a day or nightime look.Definitely would recommend

I love Bourjois stuff and their products are always top quality and this is no different.Its a small tube, about the size of a lip balm, the brush is diddy and the mascara itself is really thick. I have been using this type of product for years so i am well used to doing it as i always found pencils to look ridiculous.Tip when taking the brush out, scrape the brush onto the sides like you would do with a nail varnish, this then gives a lighter application and it will look more natural.

My wife says: "This is a lot like a mascara for your eyebrows. The 'blond' is a perfect light brown for my white eyebrows. It goes on evenly, and I've found it easy to pick up the few odd hairs just above one eyebrow that I recruit to help fill in a thin patch. It stays well all day, and generally survives a shower if you try to avoid washing your face, although that said it's not waterproof. The container is quite short, but the mascara wand is the usual spiral bristle arrangement."

I already have quite a lot of brow hairs which makes this a suitable product for me as it adds colour and a little bit of texture to what I already have. If however you have very sparse brows and need new hairs drawn in, this isn’t the right product. It suits me and my colouring but my only criticism would be that it can be quite gloopy and messy

My wife has never used used an eyebrow mascara before but was pleasantly surprised by this. It is easy to apply like a small mascara wand, gives a nice brown colour (not too intense... it looks natural). It makes the eyebrows look full and is good for a full make-up. It seems to stay on for a reasonable time as well.Recommended.

This is my favourite style of brow product to give added colour, shape and definition. It's not as bold as a strong pencil and doesn't give the same precision but it does boost and shape natural brows in a few quick strokes. The colour blends well and stays put for the day (don't overdo it or your brows will feel a bit crunchy).

I did like this once getting used to it and in fact after that I almost preferred it. Its more a case of just getting the hang of it and only using a very small amount (in my case anyway) I do like the brush more as it gives a much better look that appears more natural than using a pencil. Would definitely buy again.

A very good mascaras that hasn't clumped on my lashes. One glide on to the lashes is smooth, separating the lashes while lengthening and adding volume to them. The brush itself makes it easy task and gets to the inner eye lashes fine. This mascara is also easy to remove, and hasn't smudged when worn (on me).
