When I was given the chance to review this Bourjois lipstick gloss I jumped at the chance not having tried this lip colour before.Bourjois' Colour Boost Lip Gloss are supplied in a crayon style applicator. This range of lip crayons come in various fashionable shades and the one I received is called 'Barely Naked'.The first thing I noticed when applying this lipstick was that it went on extremely smoothly and afterwards my lips felt wonderfully moisturised.The colour is a lovely soft creamy peachy pink, this colour would suit most colourings … from very fair to very dark. Nice to hold and look at and very easy to use, clean and no mess at all. Colourwise this is kind of a brownie colour? Reminds me of Cliniques Black Honey (if anyone has used this!) its a little shiny on your lips and mine was not strongly pigmented but it could have been that the colour is not a strong one....almost a barely there look? I will definately try this again in a darker brighter colour, as I enjoyed the ease of use of this and it slips into your handbag so easily and no worries of a spill as the lid is firmly on. Lastability wasn't amazing unfortunately, I applied in the morning but after a cup of coffee it definately needed reapplication, however,

-Love the bourjois colour boost lipsticks, we own 3 at home, 2 of which are of the red sunrise shade. The red sunrise is a really nice, suble red, but doesn't have the slight orangey tint that some red lipsticks do. It's easy to apply and can be worn everyday without looking too much if you apply a light layer. This is pretty much the only lipstick i've ever used that doesn't constantly need to be reapplied, it usually stays on after ive eaten and if you don't clean your lips at night, the colour still slightly remains in the morning. I do think the amazon price is a bit expensive, i'm pretty sure it's a few pounds cheaper in store,

Love this lip colouring as goes with any shade of makeup or clothing. Makes my lips feel soft and glossy and stays put for a while. Best thing is I find that even if after a cup of coffee and it wears off you do not get left with a look that shouts "need to apply lip colour quickly".Nice chunky crayon style which makes it easy to apply and no mistakes either as such a subtle colouring which I think would suit most skin tones. Would buy one when this is used up as love the crayon style of lip colour so much easier than the usual lipstick types.No nasty reactions even on sensitive skin so a keeper for me.

This is the perfect way to dip your toes in the orange trend without looking tangoed. This was a pleasant change from my usual pinks and reds and refreshed a rather stagnant make up routine.It's more of a coral tone but it gives an extremely youthful look thanks to its moisturising effect and sheer wash of colour without the stickiness you get with some glosses. Easy to apply, this was my go to lip colour this summer.Why spend £17 on Clinique Chubby Sticks when you can buy this for less than half the price. I must stock up on some more before they go out of stock!

Use these crayon style pencils a lot because they're so quick and easy to use.Mine had been twisted up from the bottom before it arrived so the top had been squished up inside the lid!The colour itself is a barely-there neutral colour but it's incredibly soft and creamy and moisturising and leaves my lips feeling soft and shiny.Would use this on days where I'm going out walking or doing something with a minimal make-up look but would generally use something with more depth of colour.

I love this - great colour and the closest to an actual orange I've found yet. It goes on bright orange and settles to a pinky orange colour. It goes on super smoothly with brilliant coverage, and lasts fine until you eat/drink. But reapplying is no problem because it goes on so easily. I got endless compliments while wearing it and even bought a second one for a friend who kept mentioning it while I was wearing it over the summer. For the price, great.

I like these lip crayons as so easy to apply and also keeps lips soft too. Big chunky crayon type which if you like these over traditional lipsticks are one of the better makes pricewise I feel.A nice nude colour, well almost nude so it looks like a fairly light colouring on lips when applied.Colour does come off after a time but just so easy to reapply even without using a mirror. So really is a case of use on the go.

I adored this lip colour and the ease which you can apply it with. As a mother of a 3 year old, I need to do things as quickly as possible and applying make up falls in this category. This lip colour ticks all those boxes. The colour is rich and once applied, it has a nice glossy sheen to it. I found that this didn't dry my lips out either which some colours do tend to do. Good colour with a lovely finish

Arrived quickly. This is a fab lippy. You would think something called a crayon would be dry or matt but it isn't at all. Goes on like a dream and has a real sheen to it. Stays on well and leaves a slight stain on your lips when it comes off. Your lips feel soft and moisturised. I bought the red one as well and both are true to the colour in the pictures. They are both soft colours not harsh. Love them.

At last a waterproof lipstick with sun factor 15 that does not dry the lips to a piece of parched leather. Why do they not put sunscreen in more lipsticks. I burnt my lips so badly as they fried with my old lipstick and they are now marked and will bleed in the sun without sun factor. Be careful ladies. Skin cancer is a worry so now I have found these great colour pencils to take on holiday.

I like this lipstick. I like the crayon style, it is easy to apply accurately, and it feels nice when it is on. I like the natural feel on my lips, and the natural look – as if my own lips are coloured rather than an artificial colour painted on. It also provides factor 15 sun protection – a must in this day and age – and moisturises the lips too.At just over £8 this is a winner for me

These lip crayons are fab - they are nice to handle as they are like a fat crayon, the lipstick is a soft sheeny texture that gives good colour and feels moisturising - they are like a lip balm with colour. I have the Red Sunrise which is a true red, the orange punch which is a lovely slightly red toned orange and the fuschia which is a deep pink. Highly recommended.

I had some money left on a voucher and wanted a bourjois lipstick and took a punt on this one after reading the reviews.Goes on well despite looking like a kids crayon in pink it is a lovely bright coral colour and will look even better when i get a bit more coulour.Would buy again, hard to judge the other colours by the pictures though.

Adds a deep coral/orange colour that looks good applied lightly over a lip primer or even basic concealer to create a bright zing, especially with a tan. The tube is like a very chunky pencil and east to apply. I think it's good value for money and would purchase it in different colours. Would also benefit with a touch of gloss.
