I love these max factor lipsticks.They are smooth and creamy, with a pleasant (not overpowering) slightly powdery scent.They last on the lips for about 7 hours with a lip liner, and stay on during meals and drinks.The finish is slightly sheer, sort of satin, so they feel comfortable and hydrating (I assume that's from the vitamin E) on the lips but still have a lot of pigment. They are not matte, and they have a bit of shimmer to them that just gives your lips a slightly glossy look. There's no noticeable glitter in the shimmer.The packaging (although it doesn't really matter) is sleek and gold.The colour I ordered was 'Sunbronze'. I would describe it as a pinkish terracotta with a hint of nude.

I like the actual lippy, but not very keen on the shade.That's the only downside with reviewing, you don't often get to choose your colours. I usually go for a pinker lippy than this.I have very pale skin, (think corpse bride pale), and dark lipstick really doesn't suit me.So nope, this shade isn't good for me.The actual lippy however, I do like!It's just about the right mix of rich enough to go on smoothly and to feel moisturising, and also has half decent longevity. I don't think it is anything remarkable - it came off on my glass and again when eating, and would definitely need reapplying a couple of times in a day.On me this shade has a slight shimner, nothing glittery or too glossy,

I am a bit addicted to lipsticks and have lots in my make up drawer. On checking I notice that over half of them are from Max Factor, a company I have used for years as I think their products are good and well priced. This is a nice lippy. It goes on smoothly, feels soft and does not dry out my lips and stays on for quite some time. I always use a sealer with lipstick otherwise I find, no matter what the cosmetic house may say, they do not last long so I cannot say how long this would stay if I did not seal it.Colour is slightly browner than it looks but if I mix it with a bit of pink lipstick it makes it a lovely colour.

I wouldn't call this lipstick caramel, to be fair every person is different and the colour of a lipsticks doesn't always come out the same on everyone. On me it was more of an orange, noting like the actual colour. It was very moisturising though I have to say, but it didn't last very long on me had to keep applying. This is not a shiny lipstick it's more of a matt. The presentation is lovely looks very expensive, lovely gold heavy case and the lipstick had lovely pattern of X's on it. I would wear this type more in a different colour but even though it didn't have much staying power is was very nice on, no drying up which is a good point for me.

The burnt caramel shade is remarkably similar to the natural colour of my lips, so for me this is practically a nude shade, needless to say it is very flattering and subtle, giving my lips a slight gloss and evening out their colour.I did notice quite a bit of transference, particularly after just putting it on, this was better after blotting and applying a little powder, but it is why I deducted a star.After removing the lipstick my lips were still soft and smooth, with no signs of dryness.

This lipstick from Max Factor comes in a very attractive gold case, which gives it a stylish edge.The lipstick itself is much lighter on the lips than the colour in the case. It is very attractive and is an excellent colour for spring and summer.It is moist and smooth without being tacky.Very few lipsticks (apart from matte) have longevity on my lips (I think it is more to do with me than the actual lipstick) so find it hard to give a fair view on this lipstick.However I love this colour.

This is a lovely day time colour. It's the only lipstick I've ever run out of because normally I'm bored of the colour or the lipstick is not good enough quality for me to ever use it up. It does wear off fairly quickly though, which is why it doesn't get 5 stars from me. It's a lovely colour but not a stayer, so if you want to keep it touched up all day, remember to keep it in your handbag. I also recommend using a lip brush with this one.

Max Factor colour Elixir Lipstick Pink Brandy is the most favourite lipstick of my lovely wife. She uses this on daily bases and I have to keep buying as consumable toiletries. Lol yes just like toothpaste as she says.Actually it looks really great and stays on for a long time . I have been buying it for ages and now Max Factor has changed the outer casing but inside is still the same product.5 stars without any hesitation.

Colour matches the picture, ideal for daywear. My lips are much softer after using this lipstick, I really like it. For longevity makeup artist tips:1. Apply colour to your lip brush from the base of your lipstick.2. Use a lip brush to fill in your lips.3. Blot with a tissue and reapply.4. Use translucent powder between coats for longer life lipstick.Will be buying more shades definitely. Happy to recommend.

This lipstick is lovely, it is a lovely neutral colour and is so nourishing. I find that most lipsticks make my lips dry and look cracked. However, this was smooth to apply and stayed soft and creamy on my lips. It made my lips feel smooth and nourished and the colour (burnt caramel) is a light brown colour that goes perfectly with my skin tone. I love this product and now it’s the only lipstick I wear.

My favourite lipstick. People always comment on it. Lasts well, especially as I use Lipcote too. Very speedy delivery. It's good to know you have something that works well for you so you don't have to search for a product. Colour very close to what was on the screen. I use the Dusky Rose and English Rose and have sometimes been known to use them as blushers too! Very pleased with this product.

I’ve worn max factor lipsticks for years in my same 3 favourite shades Angel Pink English Rose & Dusky Rose. This was me renewing my English Rose. This is my absolute go to colour. The one i wear time & time again and it goes with everything and anything, it’s goes on lovely and gives a long lasting colour with a nice shimmer without being over sparkly if your not a fan of a matte finish.

This is a great 'everyday colour', enriching your natural lip colour without looking too dressed up. I always have one in my handbag for a quick touch-up too. I order on-line because I can rarely find this shade in the standard high-street shops, and I was pleased to find this vendor managing to offer it at a slightly reduced price. The Max Factor quality goes without saying...

I've never used max factor lipstick before and im kicking myself for it now i have the shade burnt caramel and i love the formula is buttery and creamy but not so much that it makes the lips feel tacky it just glides on better, smells like vanilla, also love the packaging and the x on one side of the lipstick really affordable and suits darker skin tone a must have!!

The first lipstick I reach for just love the creamy feeling it gives your lips when applying I use it to moisturise my lips I apply a few layers before I go to bed and in the morning I apply a lipstick sealer makes my lips feel soft and hydrated plus you have the bonus of vibrant lips with no transference and it remains on the inside of your lips absolutely love it
