I have the shade 'nude glory', which is exactly what it says. This is virtually the same shade as my natural lips, giving an even mid-pink colour but with a good amount of gloss. This is a glossy product, very slightly sticky but not overly so. It feels very moisturising when on and my lips do generally feel a little softer since I have been using this. You can tell I have make up on, but it is natural looking rather than being highly pigmented.I have included two photos that show the general size of the product (it is 9ml) and the applicator. This is a sponge, with a small hole in the centre through which the product is squeezed. This can then be evenly distributed. The angle and size of the sponge makes it easy to apply across your lips with relative precision. I do wonder whether the sponge could go hard if this was unused for a month or two in the bottom of a make up bag- it doesn't seem the easiest applicator to clean. This lasts a good few hours on me and survives drinking and eating, although the gloss effect does fade a little when worn for activities like this.Overall I really like this. I am not generally a gloss wearer, but this is nice to apply and feels moisturising. I enjoy the fact this looks natural and just adds a little extra something to my day to day look.

I got this in the colour "berry" which was darker than I would normally wear. However, as it happens, I really liked the colour so it was nice to be given the opportunity to try something different for me. The tube of lip gloss has a foam, slightly slanted applicator which makes it very easy to apply to the lips. It also ensures that the correct amount of gloss is released at a time. The gloss does not go on heavily - it stains the lips with a nice glossy sheen of colour. Unlike many lip glosses it did not end up on my teeth. It stayed intact on my lips and looked natural. The gloss also tasted really nice so it was pleasant to use. I liked this product a lot but have reduced the stars from 5 to 4 because it did not last terribly long, even when I did not eat or drink anything. You would need to re-apply it quite frequently. Max Factor claim that because of the design of the applicator, the gloss can be applied without a mirror. I have tested this and can confirm that this is quite true. This means that you can carry it in your handbag and re-apply it as necessary throughout the day.

My wife wishes to share with you: "I have the 'majesty berry' which is what I would call redcurrant - a really useful colour for my fair skin. A little bit looks natural-only-better, and a little bit more has a bit more impact but not pantomine dame. It's slightly translucent with a gentle sheen. It feels nice on and seems to survive a few cups of tea intact, despite leaving a mark on the cup. The only slightly negative aspect is that with the new (full) tube it's easy to get too much at once which makes it a bit wet-look and sticky, but I'm getting the hang of that already. The product page pictures are slightly misleading, it's not as full-on pink as shown on the model,it's more translucent than the picture of the blob, and it's not as coral as the picture of the tube. Oddly the actual tube is dark red almost brown, nothing like the pleasant tone of the product in use."

This is very soft and creamy, and helps dry lips feel moisturised and soft as well as adding colour. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that the claim is that you don't need a mirror - I certainly do or it smudges over the edges of my lips. The colour comes out of the applicator in a very thin stream and is not readily absorbed by the angled sponge tip, so the colour coverage can be patchy at first and you have to squeeze very consistently if you want the applicator to spread the colour evenly. I found I got much better results squeezing some colour out then using a lip brush to apply it. You only need a small amount to give good colour coverage. The colour stays on quite well for several hours, but not for the whole of a working day - but I have not found many lip colours do stay on all day without refreshing!

I think the images on the product page for this shade don’t quite reflect the colour of this gloss in real life. I think it looks to have a pinkish tinge in the photos, but this “Majesty Berry” shade is more of what I expected from the name; a very deep purple/red. As I have a very pale complexion, I didn’t think this colour would suit me at all, but I’m happy with how it looks. It gives my lips a nice pop of colour whilst leaving them soft and doesn’t wash me out. It applies smoothly, doesn’t feel greasy or sticky after application, and doesn’t have any taste. The staying power however isn’t great, and although application is easy, it’s not precise.I would definitely advise wearing this lip gloss with a co-ordinated lip liner.

This Max Factor Lip gloss has a new applicator which ensures that the lip gloss glides on easily with an even coat. This is achieved by the gloss being released into a soft pad on the angled applicator and I like how this works and feels. I always found the plastic applicators cause an uneven coverage and you were left with gloss streaks after applying. This has removed that, you just squeeze the lip gloss tube and the gloss comes out of a small hole in the centre of the cushion pad, you then can apply like a lip stick. As you would expect with gloss you have to keep reapplying, but the Nude colour I have gives your lips a lovely healthy dewy look, ideal for everyday wear.

This lip gloss is great. Small to fit any bag, gives you a discreet shine and colour. The applicator is at an angle and has a small sponge to help apply it evenly. The amount that comes out can be controlled easily and spread with the sponge for good coverage. The Berry colour is actually more like a natural red lip colour with the gloss of a balm. The gloss is very nourishing and makes the lips feel lovely and soft. When it dries out (in about 2 hours usually for me) you will have to reapply, but the colouring stays on the lips even if the shine goes (that is if you don't eat). The gloss has a vanilla sugary smell to it and tastes a bit sweet too.

I received this today, and I'm quite pleased with it. The gloss goes on smoothly, it's not tacky, which is a pet hate of mine. The colour is a lovely shade of berry red without being too overwhelming. Obviously, if stronger colour is your thing, it can be built up. I've eaten and drunk tea with it on, no unsightly residue on the cup and it didn't smudge. The product also lasts well, I've had it on a while and it still looks fresh. I gave it four stars because I am not really keen on the little sponge applicator at the tip of the product. It's a bit fiddly and, to my mind, not very hygienic. Other than that, I'm quite happy with this.

I was asked if I’d like to review Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Cushion Gloss, Majesty Berry, 9ml, and I said yes. This is a lovely lipstick, and whilst your lips are wearing the colour, they are being hydrated due to the lipsticks ingredients, which includes Mineral Oil and Vitamin E.Max factor have designed a lip cushion's soft-touch precision applicator. It’s designed with a sloped angle which glides across your lips. The applicator applies the colour both evenly and smoothly. The lipstick is easy to use, the colour looks nice when on and it’s easy to clean off.I can recommend this lipstick.

The name 'Nude Glory' suggests a barely there, "your lips but better" shade, however I found it to be slightly darker than that. It is a flattering, glossy, generously pigmented shade similar to chestnut. It has a pleasant scent and flavour, lasts well and feels moisturising on. This product, particularly its packaging, reminds me very much of the more expensive Clarins Lip Perfector which I have been wearing for years, but my only slight gripe with this one is that my hair sticks to it, which tells me this formula is slightly more viscous than average! Otherwise a lovely gloss for day or night.

This is an excellent dupe of the awesome Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector which has been around for years. The packaging looks very similar and the product is of a similarly good quality. The applicator is cushy and easy to control in delivering the product. The Berry colour is a nice deep colour that leaves a lovely sheen and sheer colour pay off. The effect on the lips is shiny but not sticky. I suffer with dry lips and would say that this product delivers in hydration, although it does require frequent reapplying. A great find, interested in buying some of the other shades.

Love this soft almost raspberry colour. It applies by a fixed 'sponge' 'does foot' and won't be to everyones liking I'm sure but because it's fixed I can apply it easily without having to worry about a softer applicator going over my lip line, it gives that extra bit of control. It's a gloss without looking like you've been dipped in goo - gloss for grown ups? It has reasonable staying power but because it's so easy to top up you won't actually mind plus it actually feels moisturising.A simple pop of fresh colour for spring. I'll now be checking out the other colour options.

This lip gloss is very good for the price. Its very easy to apply and lasts for a very long time indeed. The texture is very soft, and it does a good job of creating a nice glossy and natural look to your lips. The product also moisturises your lips, has a pleasant smell and lasts for quite a few hours, meaning you rarely need to top up during the day. The gloss comes in a lovely looking tube, which also gives it an air of expense on top of its actual effectiveness.Overall, I am very happy with this product, and will definatley be buying it again in the future

The gloss I tried was in the colour 'Majestic Berry'. It looked very dark in the tube so I was worried it wouldn't suit me as I am very pale-skinned. I thought it looked nice though as long as I didn't layer it on thickly. It is the sort of colour that would suit lots of skin tones. The gloss is very easy to apply thanks to the applicator. It does feel slightly sticky, but no worse than other lip glosses. I did like the product, but I didn't find it lasted as long as other brands. I think this is a good basic lip gloss, but nothing out of the ordinary.

This is a nice lip gloss that adds both colour and moisture to my lips. It’s applied using an angle cut sponge end to the tube and, with the aid of a mirror, is nice and easy to get on. Despite this shade being called nude glory I felt it went on my lips with a fair bit of colour which surprised me in a good way. It gives me all I would want in terms of it lasts the full working day, doesn’t come off much when I’m drinking and goes on nicely to my lips without feeling that clingy way that cheaper brands sometimes do. Ideal for every day wear.
