The Benbo 2, is undoubtedly the best studio tripod you can get. It is very sturdy, and can extend upwards to a height of about 8 feet if you have a step ladder, and can come all the way down to ground level, with a more conventional tripod configuration in between. It can also allow the main tube to swing down at any angle from the vertical, through 90 degrees, and down to vertical in the other direction, and the tripod legs can be splayed out at any angle to give a solid and stable platform at any height, even on uneven ground. So what ever your subject, you can get the camera positioned where you want it. I have a big Nikon DSLR with a big F2.8 portrait lens which is quite heavy but this tripod is very sturdy and holds it well.
