Not the best tripod out there but it works, the legs are not too stiff, they are pretty slack and bendy which causes problems, The tripod works great for holding the camera body and a small lens (i used my Canon 450D + 75-300mm on it + an opteka 500-1000 telephoto)

Brilliant buy small enough to bring about places and to go abroad with. I use mine for my spotting scope for archery. Will hold a great deal of weight and arrived 3 days before the dew date.
