I needed a support for a heavy video camera, (Canon XH A1), but without the bulk of a tripod, for use on a podium which was on the back of a pick up truck and at this price it was worth a try. I was completely surprised by the good quality of the pole itself. The pan head is not much use to me as it's too sticky, but I don't need it. I cut the metal footrest off the bottom, greased the screw base and pan the whole thing, I lock the head in place for leveling. The pole is easy to extend and lock in place at the desired length. I extended the head handle with a piece of plastic tube to mount a remote zoom control,(Zoe Bebob). The 20x zoom can be used with confidence, even in a wind.

I found this Monopod was of better quality than I was expecting for the price. It is light and easy to carry in its bag which is fitted with a strap. Though the camera attachment is plastic it is sturdy and should provide good service in normal use. I bought this monopod to use with a new camera which has a 30x zoom plus a further 4x digital zoom and some sort of steadying device is essential when the zoom capability is used to the full.This monopod extends and locks in place easily, has a foot anchor to prevent unwanted movement and will, if required extend higher than the height of even the tallest people.This easy to use monopod is excellent for those who don't want to lay out a substantial

I wanted a normal monopod to get started with zoom photography. This is a very nice, easy to use and useful equipment if you are a new photographer and are struggling with taking zoomed shots as this does help a lot in keeping the camera study, enabling you to produce some nice pictures.I wasn't expecting much the quality is actually pretty nice. All the joints feel stiff and it is amazing value for money

Very ease of use great, stability with foot rest and easly adjusts to any height and with handle very easy to pan round for wide vision pictures, and so easy and light to carry about even when attached to camera. I have been very happy with this product and very good value for money.

This is an excellent value for money monopod.Despite it's very low price, I have found it to quite sturdy with the top two sections extended (had no need for all 3 sections). I have detached the drop down footrest because I think it is surplus to requirements.

Excellant value. Folds up for easy packeding. As yet there is no negative side to this monopod. I would highly recomend it to anyone wishing to do panaramic phography.

I ended up replacing the head as the original is flimsy, the tilt adjuster broke first twist. However at £10 it hard to knock the overall value of this item.

I love it and use it with either a compact camera or a small video camera fastened on to it. Eminently portable and gives very good support.

Does what i need it to do, it is as good as i expected it to be for the cost, would recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive monopod.
