I bought this tripod despite having read the other reviews and I am glad I did. No it is not a high end pro tripod BUT it is a lot batter than the light weight ones that frankly are a waste of money. I am professional photographer and we shoot some simple video work for clients. Most of that is macro and on location and this tripod is light enough to transport easily and solid enough to give smooth panning and a good base for close up work. YOu get what you pay for with tripods but this is a good entry level prosumer product.

Excellent fluid head tripod - I purchased this model because I had seen a video of another buyer using one - it was the only video showing it in use and the buyer highly recommended it - the fluid head is fine for my Sony NEX - EA50H Cinematic Camcorder and the results from using it are excellent - so I too would highly recommend this Konig tripod, above the rest

You get what you paying for, but it is sturdy. Good cheep tripod with extendable handle. One shoe with two screws of different size. Only note that fluid head bounces back when you release the handle.

I dont think there is a better tripod fot this price, my only complaint is that the horizontal tilt is a bit to tight but you will get over it and see that its better thight than loose.
