This is a good cable and since a lot of newer devices require USB cables (including insect zappers and night lights) a longer than normal cable always comes in handy.I have used it not only to charge items (like my camera, kindle, dictation device, and small torch) but to transfer data to and from my device to my computer. The only real issue with it is sometimes the kindle throws a “low power” charging cable warning out. I don’t know why as most of the time it just gets on and charges the items in question.I love the fact that it is a long cable because I can be working on my computer without having to worry about the needing a temporary platform because the usual short cable won’t allow the device to be placed on the counter. This cable has travelled with me to and from hospital and has,for now, stood up to all the gathering and unrolling without a problem. This longevity is important to me.Overall a good USB cable.

This isn't the cheapest cable at almost £20 for the 3-metre version - so it seems you are paying extra for the Belkin name. It seems a well-made cable which it should be for the price, and so far, has shown no sign of fraying or wear. It does exactly what it is intended for and I have used it to charge a Nintendo Switch and a MacBook Pro (though seemed quite slow to charge the MacBook, but likely due to the power supply itself). It is a very basic cable, the outer cable sheath isn't braided and is just like a standard power cable plus it doesn't come with a velcro-style tie so can be a pain to stash in a work bag as it will tend to unravel - so really this isn't a great cable to travel with.Other brands available seem to be more rugged and have attached ties plus are cheaper - however if you want a quality, no fuss cable to keep permanently attached to a charge point at home, this will do the job well.

This review concerns the Belkin 2.0 USB-A to USB-C Charge Sync Cable, 3 m, Black, price at review £27.97.An extremely high quality lead suitable for both charging and data transfer on a myriad of devices equipped with the newer USB-C smart connector.Whilst primarily aimed at the mobile phone market I am using mine to charge and power our B&O A2 Play Speaker unit in addition to our MacBook; The extra length (3M) of this lead makes it ideal for use in hotel rooms where the USB, or indeed wall power sockets are inconveniently located. As i have found in the past, Belkin pay particular attention to crafting quality, tight fitting end pieces that result in a firm connection between devices.Possibly considered a touch expensive at the review price, but certainly a quality item - lookout for reductions.

Cables don’t come better-constructed than this. The plugs fit very snugly in sockets and the cable connections to the plugs appear rugged. It’s USB 2, not 3, but that’s fine for its stated purpose (charge/sync phones and tablets) - it's certainly as fast as the original Samsung cable.Whether the cable is worth the price depends on how you plan to use it. If it will be plugged/unplugged frequently or thrown in bags and carted around, paying for quality makes sense. Do note, however, “up to 3A charging output” – 3A may not be enough to charge demanding devices, which is why I’ve deducted a star. If that won’t be a problem for you, I doubt if you’ll find a better cable than this.

Really this is what USB should have been from day one - reversible and idiot proof. Somewhat depressingly the cables have electronics built in to sort out the pin outs however they are plugged in instead of the brains being in the socket which would make more sense to me.From a useability viewpoint, is there really any need for a new standard? At least, unlike the change from sub-B to micro-B, there is some functionality gain. I hope they stop messing round with it now though. The cable is typical Belkin competent manufacture, and since you're going to be using USB-C like it or not you may as well use this.

As per usual the build quality on this cable is superb. The housing is a touch stiff but not too much to make it annoying. The combination of USB type C and Belkin build make for a secure connection is secure. For all the great quality of this cable, it can't escape the one problem with all 2.0 USB-A to USB-C cables. They shouldn't exist! I mean what's the point? USB-3 Is backwards compatible, USB-C is high speed why make a USB-C cable that only gives you USB-2.0 spec speeds.Still if that's the specific cable that you're after then this Belkin cable will do right by you.

This is a nice high quality cable. The only downside I can see is that it costs so much - a lot more than you can spend with other makes of cable.Mine is black but you can also get it in turquoise, lime, pink, purple, red and white. It has a Belkin little man logo on both sides of the C end and the word Belkin embossed at the A end where there is a bit more space. Three metres is a long cable so you get a lot more flexibility to connect and charge devices, with the potential downside that if you don't need a cable this long it's going to get in the way.

A good quality long length USB A - USB C charging cable nothing really wrong with it but the price. The twenty seven pounds price does seem a bit steep even though it's well made and just ideal length for charging phone when in car and phone on windscreen in holder. A well known quality item by a company that does what it does well but with a hefty price tag. Yes it feels well made and not likely to bend like some cheaper ones tend to do over time when being bent slightly at the ends but even that does not warrant such a high price to myself.

Absolutely superb cable and as I have come to expect from Belkin, every-bit a premium product.3 Metres worth in a small box with the usual Belkin styling.Cable is very well made and performs terrifically. Handled my pixel superbly. I find the extra length handy in the car as a passenger and also at night if using my phone in bed. This cable supports sync and charge and hooked up to my pc I had no issues,Although I've given it five stars I do wish the connectors where the cable joins were more solid.

17.11.2017

This is a very solid plastic cable, and at 3m, very long and useful. There's not really a huge amount to say, as it's plastic like most others, but at least the usb-c end seems to fit solidly into my LG G5 with no wiggling about. It also charges as you'd expect, so no disappointments anywhere. The price is very high, which would have lost it one star, but having a 3m cable is so useful that I'm keeping it at 5 stars, simply because it's a decent make, feels sturdy enough and does the job well enough.

9.11.2017

The cable feels well made. It is thicker than most other cables I have used. It features the new, reversible USB-C connection at one end, which seems to be the new standard for mobile phones. At 3m long, it is possible to continue to use a phone or tablet while it is being charged using this cable. My real negative is the price. This may be better than the cheaper alternatives, but is it really so much better that it justifies the price?

21.11.2017

This works very well. There were no speed issues though I haven't done a benchmark against any other competitor products. It fit easily and the cable itself seems of good quality. I have used Belkin products in the past and they have generally been very reliable. If you do have a use for this and need a longer cable this should be useful but maybe a more budget product will do the job just as well.

18.11.2017

Good quality connectors that slide into my phone port without that scratchiness that some cheaper cable exhibit. Charges and transfers data fast and reliably and the 3m length means I don't need to sit close to a socket while I'm charging and using my mobile.Fairly pricey, but the quality is good, and there are issues with some cheaper USB-C cables damaging devices, so worth the cost.

1.11.2018

Good connectors that fitted well, specification is exact and it comes with a good lengthy cable. It is expensive though, you are paying for the brand but you are definitely getting the reliability and functionality that comes with this brand; you can however get it a little cheaper if you don't want the Belkin name.

14.7.2019

At around £20, this seems like quite a lot to pay for a basic cable. Having said that, it's reasonable quality and is slightly reinforced at each end, so it doesn't look like it'll fall apart as quickly as some of the others I've had.Does what it says on the tin.
