This is a great bed guard. Solid wood, with sturdy fittings under the mattress.The majority of bed guards are for younger children and look it, which limits who can use them.This model being plain wood, is suitable for teens and adults to use, without making the bed look childish. My daughter needed this for medical reasons and it was strong enough to cope with her falling asleep leaning against it.It never fell out of the bed, never buckled or gave way to her weight leaning on it.It offered support, prevented falling out of bed issues and the rail panel is easily removable, so that it can be discretely hidden when not needed.This offered a great solution to a problem,

We agonised about getting bunk beds for our sons (3 and 5) and this bed guard has given us the absolute peace of mind we needed. Our 5 year old son has this on his top bunk and it's a wonderful, sturdy addition to his bed. While he knows that he isn't to lean on the guard and needs to be sensible in a top bunk, we know that we don't have to have any worries about him rolling out at night. We have found that the easiest way to change the bedding on a top bunk is to take the mattress down and each time we do this we check that the guard is correctly re-attached. (While the manufacturer doesn't recommend this item for bunk beds...)

Bought this for use on our spare bed for when our Grandson comes to stay - having moved from sleeping in a cot to a bed the worry of him falling out while in our care didn't bear thinking about! Easy to follow instructions, simple to attach and remove to and from bed when required. We wanted something that we could still access the bed easily as reading stories together at bedtime is a big thing for us and this fitted the bill perfectly. We were a bit concerned that perhaps it could have done with being a bit longer but as our Grandson doesn't move too much in bed it has worked just fine. Easy to store too when not in use. Definitely recommended.

After trauling the internet for ages for a bed guard that would fit a slatted cot bed, we finally decided on this product. I'm glad we did as it does exactly the right job and my 2 1/2 year old daughter now adores her bed, she sleeps better in a bed than she did when it was a cot! My only worry when we received it, hence the 4 star rating, was the strap used to attach it to the mattress didn't seem strong enough to hold the guard in place, but after a bit of adjusting, it was fine.

It exceeded my expectations. It is very easy to assemble (less than 5 minutes) and the guard is in fact quite high. The photos in the description make an impression of a very light shade of wood. The product is actually looking like a natural pine wood going into brown rather than beige. My 3 year old will only try it tonight so I do not know how fit for purpose it is yet but sure will let you know. Overall - can recommend.

Good product in my opinion. After reading several reviews I decided upon this one, and it's surprisingly good. Fits OK and once the mattress is on doesn't move. Most of all the Winnie the Pooh night light thing attaches to it just like it did to the cot. So all in all a good choice.

Looks to be solid and easy to install. Being able to remove the side without disturbing the person in bed is perfect. Need to see over time how solid it actually is but for now would recommend.

did the job perfectly. The child slept well all night so it must work.Matched the bed too so looked nice. Easy to fit and can take side off during day to access the bed.

This is much better than any other bedrail we've tried and it takes up so little space in the car when going on holiday. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Easy to position and works a treat with my existing wardrobes etc. A perfect match! Love how you can easily remove it in the day so your child can play

2 year daughter was falling out of her bed until this was fitted and now sleeps much better. The wood looks fine with her existing bed frame.

Fits our requirements well. Easy to install and remove on a regular basis. Very useful and gives us peace of mind. A good buy no doubt!

Excellent well made product which was ideal for our 3 year old grandson's visit and his first sleep in a raised built in cabin bed.

Excellent at keeping my little girl in bed but still allowing her the freedom to get out when she wants.
