After years of experience using cables to charge my devices I had come to the conclusion that they will all break within 2-3 weeks due to me charging my devices and using them at the same time, every single cable I have used has broken even the top class "unbreakable" cables which were meant for life broke within a months time, however these sold by ANKER are brilliant, the have metalic connectors with a modern rope style cable which is extremely hard to tangle, the length is great, not long enough to tangle which is great, I use these in a charging station and before I had them all it was was a big pile of tangle wires which looked aweful but now I have these they don't tangle and also keep

Seems to do the job, whether or not it will last is another matter. The cable protection itself isn't plastic, I am not sure what you would call it, but for those of you who are old enough, it is a much better version of the stuff that protected the cables in old electric goods or irons. It used to fray, which is what usually required you to buy a new item. This is a much updated version of that, but I find that when I roll the cable up, unlike plastic, the kinks tend to stay in the cable. Time will tell whether or not this will eventually stop the cable from working. I have certainly never seem the like of this before in a modern cable.

USB-C is the new(est) standard in USB interfaces, it offers a number of advantages over USB 3.0, so more and more manufacturers are using them.I have just got my Samsung Galaxy S8+(wow), and it sports a USB-C interface, so I started looking around for some suitable cables.My first thought was Anker, as I believe they are an excellent company, first class products and customer service second to none.This cable isn't actually what I thought, I misunderstood. What I wanted was USB-C at one end, and a 'standard' USB plug at the other end to plug into the charger. This cable has USB-C plugs at both ends.Fortunately I have a battery pack with a USB-C interface, so I was able to use it for charging (which is what I wanted it for),

USB C, the new industry cable. Anker doesn't let me down and this product is no exception. I purchased it as a replacement for my MacBooks charge cable and can I just say, WOW! its great!!It does what its suppose too as good as its suppose to, if not better! Charges fast and handles the high voltage I need to pass through it. Its made from tough materials so you don't have to worry about anything happening to it.Comes with the best thing a cable could come with, a travel pouch that is honestly so handy. No tangles no issues, its there and ready waiting for you in a sleek design.No compatibility issues seen and no problems fitting in the USB C heads.To conclude, Anker have simply done it again,

Honestly anker is just something else. The product quality and the packaging is just amazing. Ive been buying anker products for a long time and I've got so many of their products that i genuinely don't bother reading any reviews before buying from them. I don't read any reviews because their customer service is that good. It doesn't matter how small or big of an issue you have they will sort something out for you. I bought this cable because i needed it, its as simple as that. I was expecting the cable to arrive in a simple blue and white cardboard box like many other items I've bought from them,

I have an Anker PowerLine+ C to C 2.0 cable (6ft) in my possession. I came across Anker as a brand a couple of years ago with a Bluetooth speaker and I was really impressed with the quality for the price. Since then I have purchased numerous Anker products - USB hubs, in car chargers, power packs, cables etc and without exception, every item has been exceptional quality. The cable above, is brilliant. It has a woven covering, the ends are built to last forever, the fit is perfect, it comes with its own cloth case which is great for keeping my bag organised. Best of all, it charges really fast. I'm always amazed at how the products are packaged - you would think it was sold by Dior. Well worth the price,

Our dog chewed through the original Macbook charging cable a couple of days ago, hence the purchase.Have always respected Anker products in the past and this is certainly no exception!Came in its own compact cardboard box unlike some cable companies who just package in a plastic bag.Within, was pleasantly surprised to see it was wrapped in its own Anker branded felt bag, with a magnetic fastener and velcro fastening strap inside.Cable itself is a braided affair and went for the 6ft option which is pretty much the same length as the original apple cable. Only been in use for 30 mins or so, however the MacBook is charging at the same speed as the original cable, so all good in that respect.So yeah,

Don't normally write a review, as like most I'm too busy or just forget... but the packaging alone was enough to make me go Wow.My original cable stopped working with no obvious reasons why, so ordered this from Anker.As you can see from the pics it projects quality straight from the box, I literally expected to get a cable in a bag. The case is magnetic which holds it closed, very nice touch.Only just plugged it in, but so far extremely empressed and happy it charges my old Pixel 2 phone rapidly.Point to notice the length of cable compared to the original from Google, this length is ideal for use in bed while charging and so much easier without it unplugging itself.If your looking for a cable,

Having purchased numerous Anker cables in the past, I did not hesitate to invest in a new USB-C to USB-C cable after purchasing my new USB-C phone for quick charging from my Anker powerbank, and as usual, the product has lived up to expectations, it feels durable, it is well packaged and came in its own dedicated magnetised sleeve which was a nice touch. Again, the additional length proves very useful when charging with my power bank, however I would have liked additional length options such as the 3m option which is available for the micro USB range, and USB 3 or 3.1 would have been nice to haves too. Overall though, these are minor complaints in an otherwise excellent product,

I was actually sent this one free to review and promised that my comments would be honest and unbiased. I have purchased many Anker products previously, including cables.This one, like all the others is well made and incredibly sturdy. It is also long at 6ft. There are many situations where you have to sit some way away from a charger to do your work, and this extra length is a real bonus. For this size and quality of cable the price is also excellent. I do feel that the description of the product would be better as USB-C to USB-C 2.0 as this would make it clearer that you have USB-C at each end.

Anker is a real problem solver for people who want a quality product which can be relied upon day in n day out without paying exuberant prices of original manufacturers. This cable is no exception. Nylon-braiding makes it feels very sturdy and durable in hand. Better Connectors and bend tolerance makes it last much longer than most OEM cables. Above all, it does what it is suppose to do without any problem at all. Charges Macbook & Pixel XL at full speed.One suggestion IMHO is ditch the case to reduce the price. I have 5-6 such cases now which don't get used much, seems like a waste of resources in my case.

I bought this charger to be a spare for my apple macbook pro charger, but within a few days it became my preferred charger. Due to the nylon braided design it is much more flexible and seems to be of better quality than the apple charger.There’s not too much to say other than it gets the job done and that I am very much a fan of the colour, rather than the white cables apple seems to love selling for rather absurd prices.Seven months after using the cable daily it did eventually stop working. I contacted anker as it fell under their year long warranty. Within days I was pleased to have a replacement and it is still going strong.Brilliant buy and very good price- anker has done kt again!

I bought this to use as a connection from my camera to my computer when shooting tethered. At 2 metres long, It's not really enough and probably wasn't designed for this purpose, but when I don't need to move around a lot on a shoot this cable is great. It's very fast when transferring the shots to my computer and it's built to last. With good build quality and a stylish design with the red colour, it's a real bargain at this price. And it comes with a carry pouch that can be used to adjust the cable length, which I don't really use because I need it as long as possible. Not sure about it's other uses, but if it works well for my purpose, I'm sure it does a decent job for other tasks.

I have quite a few Anker braided cables and the quality and durability of these cables has kept me coming back to the Anker brand every time. Yes, they are a little more expensive compared to other cheaper brands, however in my opinion they are worth the expense. This particular cable is for charging an Anker PowerCore+ 26800 as I wanted a longer Type C lead than the item supplied. The longer leads like this one, come in a foldable pouch to protect them which adds to the quality and customer focussed thinking behind the company. I have never had a need to use Anker customer services, however those that have on the site rate them highly.

Nice quality, it a little 'over packaged' for a cable. The magnetic cable wrap is pointless and will probably end up straight in the bin. It serves as a brief "oh that's nice" moment, but that's about it. The cable is as you would expect from Anker, good quality. You have to make sure each end is plugged in the correct way around (for instance if you put the cable in your computer with the Anker logo facing upwards, then you have to put the other end in your device also facing upwards. If they are facing opposite directions it doesn't work. Weird. I have two of these cables and it's the same on both.
