I bought this bowl and spoon some time ago. Like all Alessi products it is functional and fun.The bowl comes in two parts. The base and then a metalic bowl, which keeps the ice cream cold for longerThe spoon is heart shaped and it is fun for you and your partner to eat from both sides or you could just keep it all for your self!The picture is a little deseptive as I expected the base to be more of a solid colour than the item received, so I have lobbed off a star, but I have bought more bowls for family and friends and they have been well received

As you'd expect from Alessi, this is no ordinary ice cream bowl. The quality is excellent with an acrylic base much thicker than similarly purposed acrylics. The stainless steel insert helps to keep your ice cream cold, detaches for easy cleaning - and a Big Love ice cream spoon is included. Big Love turns a simple bowl of vanilla into an experience. The goblet shape suggests a special occasion, even a ritual. Just one of these would be great to share ice cream from on Valentine's Day...

I purchased this as a valentines present for my husband who always eats ice cream from the tub and complains it melts quickly and can't put it back to freezer. This is a very good product, obviously very practical, very easy to clean, looks stylish ! Keeps the ice cream cool and your hands are not freezing because you hold by the holder/stand. The spoon is very cute too. I thought it was a bit pricey first, but it s used very often ! I might treat myself to 1 so I don t feel left out !

I bought two Big Love Ice Cream bowls one in Pink and one in Blue as a housewarming gift for a couple of newley weds.As usual i bought a gift i wanted myself - i couldn't justify spending that much on an ice cream bowl but as a gift it was stylish and fun and went down well with the recipicants.Good quality and funky design definitley one for my wish list.

I have these ice-cream bowls in every colour and they look fantastic in candlelight or under bright lights. Very effective for dinner-party desserts. Only drawback is that they are not for the dishwasher. Oh, and they don't stack so take up a lot of storage. But as they look so good I dont care. They really are a lovely quality.

Was delivered so fast! All well packaged in a tiny alessi box, the silver dish slides off to clean seperatly, and the spoon is adorable. The spoons are quite expensive by themselves..for a spoon that is, so its great they include one

The Alessi Big Love ice cream bowls and gorgeous accompanying heart spoons are my favourite dessert dishes ever. We have them in every colour and use them all of the time, not just for icecream.

As one of a set of six ice cream bowls,this was very well received when my daughter was given them for her birthday.I have since given a set to a friend and she too is delighted.Great gift! Jict

These bowls from Alessi are just divine, they are first class quality. The Heart Shaped spoons are so cute. At this price they are an absolute bargain. Love them.
