Delivered very smoothly; the boots itself seem to be sturdy with great soles. They fot very well and are just above the ankles with nice, prolonged sock-like finish. I have not tried them in the field yet but will do so soon in Iceland - after reading so many positive reviews, I cannot wait to try them outside.

Bought these as a present for my boyfriend, he's really pleased with them - he's been away for a week in the Tatras Mountains in November where he put them through their paces. Goretex did it's job to keep his feet dry and grippy rugged soles coped well with the mixed terrain.

Used boots for first time doing a late afternoon accent of tryfan heather terrace. Boots comfortable out of box, grip is good.Good mountain boot as little give in sole.GripesA bit hard not much bounce. Outers are sturdy sued leather, however takes an age to dry.
