These are the best hiking shoes I ever owned. They are the most expensive ones I ever bought as well but worth the price I paid. I managed the Trolltunga hike in Norway in them without any problems at all, waterproof, no slipping on wet surfaces, stable and great support but still soft and comfortable inside, no rubbing or blisters. To complete this challenging hike at my age (56) was at least to 50% due to these fantastic shoes and the other 50% due to visiting the gym 2x per week during previous months. The only slightly negative thing for me was that I prefer traditional lacing. I had to tighten them a few times,
