These Aku boots are light, robust, waterproof and comfortable to wear. The Goretex boots do sweat your feet more than average.I've been wearing my boots to work in different countries across different climates and they haven't let me down yet.The issue i have is that after sustained wearing, they become worn and broken at the flex point of the boot, however after a few years of wearing these, it's not really that surprising. Other boots haven't lasted half as long as my Aku.

Really light boots for the Vibram and Goretex components used. Aprox 600 grams per boot in size 300 mm/UK 11/46 euro. Excellent ankle support, with lock-in feature at the first metal buckle, which allows you to adjust your tightness over the arch and then work your ankle/shin tension as required. I bit awkward that there are no quick lace hook arrangements up the ankle but it maybe a requirement by British MoD Only 4 stars as I have no idea how they gonna last.

Comfortable out of the box and about 80 quid cheaper than my last pair of Aku's. These are the MOD forces issue version and are a good bit more rugged than the civilian version. Yet to be tested in serious wet weather but, on comfort alone, an excellent purchase. True to size.

I was concerned if they may be too narrow in the width as I’m just inside a wide fit. Ordered a 9.5 normally a 9.Works a treat. Very sturdy, great quality. I’ve only used them a couple of times since purchased. Will update after I’ve begun wearing them for work. ??

Quite pricey but worth it. Previously I was using the Albert defender boots, the aku boots are far more comfy and have much better angle support. They are also much more durable . All round a very good boot.

Love the boots, but unfortunately too small! Can only fit in it comfortably with a thin sock, so sending it back to be replaced with a size 12 instead.

Comfortable boots for hot climate with good ankle support for moving in the mountains and on steep slopes. I will wear them at work on the project.
