A very simple, stylish fire which fits into a standard fireplace opening and simply plugs into an adjacent electric socket. The unfussy design looks great in a modern or traditional setting. The fascia and frame is made of fairly thin steel but it feels strong enough for the job and the finish is good. The controls are quite well hidden, up and under the canopy, which is good for the aesthetics but a bit fiddly to use but you get used to them and operate it pretty much by feel anyway. .

This fire is good in every respect except the build quality. The top corners are gappy which is a shame as it is good on every other level. The fire effect looks good and the blower works fine. Controls are under the hood and are easy to use.

Excellent design, simple to use for Mum in Law. She loves the coal effect- she says it 'warms her up'
