Fits my bike's rear disc, however, the 'trapezoid' big holes in the disc (not round little ones in pad contact area) come in two different sizes (yes in the same disc), so every 2 smaller ones there is a slightly bigger one. That's the one where this lock fits. It takes a couple of times of locking and unlocking to spot this and then you'll just do it straight away. Can be fitted and removed with one hand. I also bought the abus carrier bracket, but didn't fit on my passenger's foot peg stays as pictured on catalog, so had to fit it in rear luggage carrier arm. It holds lock very solid, no vibration, easy to reach and out of the way.The lock on the disc leaves literally no space for it to be grinded,so if it was to be attacked the only way to do it would be making a big mess on rear disc and lock. Surely it can be done, but after having cut a cheaper lighter ones myself from my own bike after loosing the keys, I can tell this one would prove a tougher, messier and longer lasting job. Hopefully it'll be enough of a deterrent, and does give me some peace of mind when leaving bike parked in the middle of nowhere. Fingers crossed.

Used mine for a year and had zero issues. Fits every bike I've tried so far, Honda vfr, Yamaha XJ6, Ducati Monster, Yamaha Fazer etc.Reliable and easy to lock and unlock one handed. Short of a thief removing the wheel there's little chance of it being beaten.Has a rubber coating to protect damaging the wheel when fitting, mine has slightly perished and discoloured but still does the job fine. It borders on price with Abus alarm disc lock at around £90. If I didn't use this in combo with a chain and padlock on the rear or chain and ground anchor I personally would go for the alarm type as being used as a sole security deterrent an alarm version gives more peace of mind over just a disc lock. But this one is about as secure and easy to use as you can get.

Very solid lock, easy to put on and take off the bike, and can be done one-handed if you're sufficiently dexterous. LED in the key is also useful to find the lock barrel. I'd 100% recommend this, it's probably the best disk lock I've used of at least the 4 or 5 I've owned. My only issue is that the carry is quite large, and on bikes with large disks it presses up against the wheel rim. It will still fit on the disk, but is a bit of a fiddle, and I'm concerned the rubber may cause slight abrasion to the wheel. Having said this, thats on a bike with very large disks (330mm) so not a concern for most vehicles.

This is a tough and practical compact lock for portable applications: seems to fit most bike discs (with a bit of jiggling) and feels extremely solid. Two keys, one with integral light, which both feel smooth and positive in the mechanism.Fits nicely under seat of my KTM Duke in place of the manufacturer's original toolkit, but too heavy to carry otherwise, unless you have some kind bags or boxes fitted, in which case a chain lock will probably provide more security.

I've been looking for a heavy duty disc lock for a while, and this definitely meets that criteria. The lock itself is well made and feels very robust, as evidenced by its weight. Its sliding mechanism also makes it very easy to get on and off the disc.I was so impressed that I was considering buying a second one - the only thing that stopped me is that I discovered Abus make a similar disc lock, but alarmed, so I'm going for that one instead.

Best disk lock I have owned. One handed operation, no more dropping the shackle. Rubber protective cover, less chance of scratching wheel rim. Much easier to use than the previous Granite range.Key system is marketed as Abus's highest level security. This is to be viewed as part of your bike security, it will not stop your bike being lifted into a van, a good chain/padlock/metal post and Dobermann will help in that instance.

I reviewed a similar abus product which is essentially the alarmed version of this one and once again my views are the same. Abus are a very reputable brand and are known for making some of the best disc locks out there I would 100% recommend this to someone who wants to protect their pride and joy. Just make sure you do some measurements of your brake discs to make sure it fits as it is on the larger side.

Looks like it would do the job but had to return it as it would not fit on my Ducati Supersport S. If you have a bike with large diameter front brake rotors and single sided swing arm in back (rotor inside wheel) then this probably will not fit on your bike. But if it will fit on your bike then it would probably be a deterrent to some thieves.

Tough as hell and the main security bolt part is sprung so you can fit it one handed. One key comes equipped with a small LED light which makes fitting and removal in the dark easy, even though it looks like you can't replace the built in battery. Looks chunky on the disc when fitted so is probably also a good visual detterant too.

It's big yellow and reassuringly heavy. Happily it hasn't been properly tested by a criminal and hopefully won't be.I've got a few other Abus products and they all seem to work well so I was predisposed to the brand. Not the cheapest by any means but I think the quality makes them good value.

Only had it a few days but it seems pretty sturdy, has a fair weight to it and fits the front brake of my KTM Duke 125 nicely. I did want to use it in the rear one, but the Duke has a plate preventing the DL going on, something which will prevent any other DL going on.Worth the money!

On this sellers site the lock is advertised as maximum security (20).On the Abus package, it clearly states that it is 17! Beware if you are telling your insurance that it is the higher spec.Having said that, an excellent, heavy duty lock, which will hopefully deter thieves.

Great price for a great bike lock. Easy to operate. Comes with a pouch, two keys, one which doubles as a light so you can see in the dark. Very easy slide mechanism, easy locking mechanism, just do not forget it is on your front disc brake!

Been using this for my bike for several weekend. Really good and very easy to use. It’s quite compact so will fit under my seat in the carry pouch it comes with. It’s expensive but a lot better than carrying around my 12kg bike chain.

is the best a ever seen, the locking pin is really a whole piece which slides. If your bike is worth more then $2000 please get this lock. Note it fits a 2002 R110S BMW and a 2012 Kawasaki 1400 ABS I have them both and I checked them.
