I'm a adult Lego builder with over 250,000 Lego pieces. Such a collection needs some serious organisation if you want to spend your time building and not searching for pieces.These boxes have 3 fixed dividers running the across the width of the box (across ways in the image). These split the box up into 50mm wide strips (just about 6 studs in Lego). The dividers can then slot in securely at 25mm intervals (apart from one slot missing at each catch). This means the smallest compartment size is 25mm x 50mm (just right for a sausage finger to get in) and the largest can be a whole row which is 345mm x 50mm. I got this box to store my electronic bits and bobs and so far it's perfect. Not too big and not too small. I bought the dividers to have 46 pockets. I was very impressed with my 2 cases and will be ordering more in the future.The construction quality is far better than I'd expected. The lid hinges are mechanical and not just flimsy, folded plastic like you might see on similar cases.The cases stack nicely on top of one another and can also be hung on pegs if required.The locking clasps close firmly and feel like they'll last a long time.Only the number of columns in each row can be altered. The row dividers themselves are fixed in place. Certainly not a complaint, as this adds rigidity to the case as a whole, while still allowing a great deal of flexibility in terms of what can be stored.I gave one of mine as a present alongside a metal Meccano kit.

I needed it for Electronic components a lot of which I had. It certainly does that Job for which I bought it for well one of the three boxes does!The other two are empty but I was expecting a lot more small components from Amazon.I am still waiting for them but as it is Hong Kong selling on .co.uk. I am not going to say more other than it should not be.The boxes are doing exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with the delivery of these boxes.I am only prevented from buying more by the reason I was given for none dispatch of one order.Not related to this company but it is the things I am waiting for that are related to the reason for purchasing the boxes.I would have been storing some parts

This a great box for keeping all those small parts safe and in order, with up to 46 small compartments which can be made bigger by removing some of the dividers.I use mine for small electrical parts and e-cig spare parts, such as o-rings and small atomizer screws, mine is now full so I've just ordered another one of these as they are ideal for the job.The dividers go all the way up to the lid which means small parts don't spill over from one compartment to the next when the lid is fully closed, (unlike some other cheaper versions I've had where everything gets mixed up if you tilt the box) the clasps on the lid snap firmly into place so the lid will not open by accident when transporting or storing it.The quality of the plastic seems good and quite robust,

I've bought 3 of these, and I'm about to order 3 more. I'm using these for sorting my electronic components out. Resistors for example come with 2 different sized leads, so being able to take advantage of the small compartments for the shorter leads really helps to save space. The divisions (extra ones recommended, available separately) are easy to slot in and out, and hold fairly well, without wires slipping underneath.Only quibbles were that a slightly larger box and deeper box would be nice, and because of the design of the locking tabs at the front, you lose the opportunity to add dividers here, so you end up with 2 larger compartments. Bought these to use as jewellery boxes for my wife’s extensive collection of earrings, after getting fed up with the amount of time I spend trying to find “missing” ones. Why are women so obsessed with the damn things anyway? Nobody ever notices them unless they fall off and they have to spend even more time looking for the blighters on their hands and knees. I thought that if I bought two of these storage boxes, with 48 compartments it’d be plenty with room to spare. Not even close. I reckon she must have about 300 pairs. This is perfect for storing my resistors. They do fit in the compartments, but they don't lie flat on the bottom they lie diagonally. This isn't a problem at all. The construction is solid and is not flimsy at all, the clips are satisfying and strong, and the lid fits perfectly. I have dropped it a couple of times with the lid closed and none of the resistors fell out or left their compartments.Pros:-Fits resistors-Many compartments-Solid construction-Lid effective at keeping resistors in place, even when the box is held upside downCons:-Minor annoyance, but it would be nice if the compartments were a little wider so resistors would fit more easily,

I'm a tech guy who needed a box for my numerous AV adapters, and this was absolutely perfect.It's a very high quality product, made from a good material and with adjustable dividers to allow you to store short patch cables along with your adapters.It's a great size, and will store a lot (though some may find it too big).A 'standard' sized compartment is large enough for a few TRS adapter jacks lying on their side, or maybe two phono-SCART adapters, or you can create compartments half that size for small VGA extension adapters - it's totally up to you. I absolutely love these (have two and am getting a third), to the point where I don't know how I managed without them previously. Mine are used for gemstones / beads / jewellery findings and I can see everything I need quickly and easily.The dividers are excellent too, and I found I could get any size of compartment needed. The dividers go all the way to the top and the bottom, so nothing spills over into another compartment. The case is sturdy enough for the price and having slightly curved base sections makes it easy to retrieve smaller items popped inside. It closes tight and snaps in place so that nothing displaces when rocked around. I use this for board game storage for games where there are lots of counters and cards, it helps to take much less space on the table. Standard playing cards fit quite nicely standing upright when the box is open, but not quite wide enough sections to have laying flat when closed - but a good number fit at angle to store. As a multi purpose storage box where you can move sections around to increase or decrease compartments, I can't fault it.

I bought two of these boxes, together with one of the additional divider sets and they have enabled me to bring order to my collection of nuts, bolts and washers. I liked the flexibility of being able to choose how wide each compartment is, particularly the ability to have some really small compartments that made good use of the space. The boxes are well made and robust enough to use as storage in my garage. The catches on them will do OK for the frequency that I will use them (probably about 50 times per year or so), but I doubt they would last very heavy daily use if they were to play a role for somebody using the boxes day-in day-out.

I bought two of these storage boxes in an attempt to organise the most useful pieces of my LEGO collection. They are ideal for this role as well as storing other small objects such as jewellery, drill bits, nuts and bolts etc. The compartments are adjustable allowing you to change the size of them depending on what's being stored. As well as this, once closed, the parts remain in their sections even when the box is turned upside down. The boxes are made of rigid plastic with good, sturdy clips keeping them tightly shut. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for storage boxes to house all manner of bits and bobs!

Great little tight sealing storage boxes for small components. I ordered 3 of these plus a pack of dividers to fit them and it keeps all my small electronic components together and seperated nicely. I would recommend these and will buy some more if I need them. They fit in my cupboard drawers a treat and so easy and simple to identify parts without having to open the boxes. If you have small modelling parts or electronic components, I would advise getting the partition pack with them to give you even more compartments.22 Pack Dividers for 16-38 Compartment Storage Box IS6412. Bought two of these to store Cub Scout badges in as well as the dividers to expand them to 46 compartments. The activity badges fit in perfectly and I can squeeze 18 in to each of the compartments (compartments arranged to smallest sizes)The product arrived with some minor marks on the edges, as stated in the description, but nothing to be concerned about, I didn't even notice them when I first used the boxes. The dividers slot in securley and out of the two storage boxes I bought only 2 of the dividers are loose, though short of holding it upside down and shaking it they stay put.
