When these (I bought 2) arrived I was surprised at how nice they were. Well made and robust. The dividers are not only in slots down the sides, but they are dove tailed as well, making it harder to pull them out through over stressing the compartments. The lid is contoured to prevent smaller items from crossing over from one compartment to another. There is a latch in the middle of the lid to prevent it being pushed out of position by heavy items and possibly opening accidentally, not a bad idea. But if you forget to slide this latch over, this will result in pulling out the retaining divider it's attached to. The handle is heavy duty and easy to hold. The whole thing feels rugged and built for the job. Before actually seeing the items I did have reservations regarding the catches being the press closed and lift open type. They are heavy duty and ideal for the job. The lid does sit just over centre when open. I did realise that if the lid fell shut it may look as if it was locked, but it does sit high and is obviously still open. Other reviews have mentioned the label over the lid being difficult to remove. I don't know what Draper use to stick it on with but it's not going to fall off any time soon. Try peeling off as much as possible of the gloss upper layer. Then spray the rest with WD40, allow it to soak in, the paper should be easy to peel off at this point. The glue will still be attached to the lid but soft. This may seem a bit odd but a paper towel soaked in petrol cleans it off straight away. I'm sure there are other ways to do it but this worked first time for me. I would recommend doing this outside wear gloves and away from fire obviously, and don't smoke either. It also cleans off the rest of the WD40 residue. CC.

Seems well built, but currently sits on a shelf so that might be different for a user who wants to use it more than just to tidy the garage of coffee and jam pots. The depth is good and the guides for the yellow removable dividers don't intrude on the compartment space. As other reviewers have commented on, though there is a lock it is attached to a removable divider and not engaging it can cause the lid to bulge enough to allow compartments to mix. Obviously pulling the divider out mixes the compartment so one 'solution' is to put a few larger items in each of the compartments the yellow divider separates, as sorting through dozens of very small wall plugs is only fun on very rainy days.Obviously the lateral dividers aren't adjustable so if storing larger items an alternative should be considered. In its favour is a comfortable and integral handle so can be trusted to remain attached. All round a good product even if it requires a sticker to remind the user to unlock before opening.

It's a good size and is fairly robust but the design could be improved greatly at little or no cost, for instance...The lid travels only slightly beyond vertical so that it doesn't sit open comfortably. If extra slots were included, it would be more versatile. The central latch on the lid hooks into a yellow separator - this is crazy because it means that if you forget to undo this latch, the case will still open but the separator is simply yanked out.The label (which covers most of one row) seems to be almost super-glued on - I removed about a third of it but the rest won't budge! All that said, it's probably as good or better than similar alternatives.

The inside of the box measures roughly 344x264x57mm.Each of the rows measures 344x63x57mm (full length items are limited to 344x57x57mm because of the slats to hold dividers), the front one being a bit smaller because the handle folds under. With the handle folded in, the outer dimensions are 360x285x65mm.(all measurements are with a tape measure as may be off by a couple of mm)There are plenty of dividers, which are easy to add and remove as required. The label was stuck on with some sort of magic and took significant effort to remove, but once that's sorted, it's a good box for storing things.

Ive had one of these before when they were made by an Israeli company called ZAG & bought from B & Q lasted years till i knocked it of my workbench full up with sockets, ratches & extenders (idiot) & only one front clip broke so still sort of usable. looked till i found this & didnt hesitate! Glad i didnt, its identical & a good cheap price, with the same great quality. the dividers from my old one fit as well of course. great for 1/4" & 3.8" socketry on clip bars. well thats what i use it for. obviously great for all sorts of stuff because its so versatile.

I would have given this box 5 stars if it wasn't for the label which I think must have been stuck on with super glue.It took 24 hours of soaking in soapy water followed by lots of scraping to remove it.Shame really as it's an ideal box with the adjustable separators. Quite robust but in my opinion it's more for domestic use.I bought it for screws etc but would also be good for sewing or craft items.

I bought this item for my son's lego. It is an ideal way of sorting and storing small pieces. The see through lid is great and the dividers can be arranged to suit your own needs. It is a good sturdy box and when it is closed the pieces do not migrate from one section to another. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to sort out small pieces and needs to be able to see them at a glance.

Really useful boxes, would have given 5 stars but lost one because of the extreme difficulty in removing the sticker on the lid, which obscures the view of the contents. Had to buy some special solvent, and scrape off with plastic spatula, leaving some scratch marks on lid. That said, they are robust and well made, and should last.

I have all of the Dominion card game expansions and was looking for a way to store them. After trying several alternatives (including a home-made one) I saw a post on BoardGameGeek recommending this box. It works *perfectly*, I just had to break off the yellow 'lock' tab. Oh, and I had to buy two of them to hold all the cards!

My son and I use this to store all of our Gabby equipment for Warhammer - paint, tools, glue etc. We have a couple of them and it makes finding everything much easier. Could be sturdier, and I doubt it would last if you were using it to lug around lots of bits for work, but for our purpose it is a fantastic solution.

It is suitable for what I intended. I wish the Draper sticker could be easily removed, without leaving a mess behind. The sticker hides the contents of one row, which sort of defeats the object of having a storage case with a transparent top.

Great storage box. For screws of anything you may need to store as you can remove the divides and create a bigger section. I've actually used this for Lego dimensions characters haven't found a one that won't fit in yet.

yep, good product, make sure you make a not of the depth as it's not quite as deep as you might have thought. Quality is good, hinges seem strong, plenty of dividers, stacks well with space to put label on.

Fast delivery. The organiser is good with the adjustable sections, it's good to have all screws in one place. As with other reviews its easy to forget to unlock the slider before opening.
