One thing I really liked about this product is that it came sealed in genuine original manufacturer package. There are a lot of scams going around by unscrupulous people who can take a modified card reader and reprogram the SDHC card header to appear as though it has more data than it really does. You can make a 4gig card look like 8gb or 16gb. The data you send to it, looks like it's been copied over because it writes first to the the file allocation table (much like a regular hard drive), but the data never makes it over properly and you'll soon see that it's missing very quickly. So be wary of anyone who sells you a card that says or shows that it comes with original packaging but yet arrivesat your door without it.Setting that aside I'll offer you one more tip that you might find useful when considering a purchase. As the data volumes have gone up with these SDHC cards, the speeds have relatively remained the same. You can however buy the faster cards for a premium price. Those prices are slowly decreasing over time but not nearly at the same rate as these slow cards, which makes this older technology very popular. It will soon be £9.99 for 32gigs and £14.99 for 64gigs. With free shipping! The problem is that as you use larger and larger amounts of data, devices often have to scan and update their internal records. If you fill this up with 32gigs of mp3 files you'll want to make sure that as you modify and change the data around (add albums, delete albums, etc) that it doesn't take 3 or 4 minutes for the device to update the media every time you switch it on. Especially if you use Blutooth file sharing with your friends and your pal sends you a song over to your phone but you can't listen to it because your phone has to take 3 minutes to update. And also, if you plug a card like this into your computer card reader and copy a full 32gigs of data over to it, you're looking at about an hour of tranfer time.My old Nokia phone took 4 minutes to update it's media record even if you changed out a single song. My brand new Samsung Galaxy is much faster, but everytime I turn the phone on, it updates the media which takes about 50 seconds. The phone takes that long to switch on so it's a little annoying. I'm looking at two minutes before I can use my phone. A 10x card would make the phone more appealing to use.Hope this helps someone.!

After looking about on here and seeing that there are an awfull lot of FAKE products in the SDHC Flash Memory market i took the plunge for what looked like the real deal. After waiting almost a week the packet from Switzerland fell through the door, unfortunatly the jiffy pack had only 1 item (you guys ever heard of combined postage ?) had to wait another week before the second item arrived(after contacting them to complain that i had only 1 part of 2)On arrival i check the packaging and it all looked like a genuine Kingston Tech Product, even to the semi-holographic coating on the front edge. the first item passed chkflsh (flash memeory diagnostics products are available off the internet for free)they will do exhaustive low level tests to find out if the product is programmed correctly and is the Capacity it claims to be, along with R/W Speed tests. Carrying out such tests on a new part is essential. The first item passed tests ok, second did not. since the seller was in Suise(and i wasnt really interested in a protracted warranty returns delay) i contacted Kingston Tech in Surrey (UK) Customer Support, who were very very good at replying and handling my querey regarding the memory diagnostic errors i had on the device. the part was sent back by freepost and they sent out a replacement part with 4 days. This Item is the REal deal, it does what it says on the Packaging and i a very happy customer. For other Customers looking for SDHC Flash products, Always check on the Manufacturer web sites for what the REAL products look like, the fakes look different (wrong colour or different writing to that product version) or have silkscreen writing that falls/rubs off with minor handling, if you got one of those then complain to Amazon and get your money back!

Ordered the 64 GB card and arrived with deadline and seems to be working as expected. I've run H2testw on the card I received and can confirm that it can read and write to it's full capacity. (For now). Thanks. For anyone concerned by comments stating they got less memory than what they paid for, this is what you can expect to see when you plug these cards into your PC/Phone/Tablet/Whatever:Listed Size - "Actual" Size8GB - 7.45GB16GB - 14.9GB32GB - 29.8GB64GB - 59.6GB128GB - 119.2GBFor an explanation of why, read on.Manufacturers tend to use a system of 1000's to measure capacity. So, 1000 KB = 1MB,for example. This gives my card a total space of 64,000,000,000 bytes by the manufacturers measure and Amazons listing.Windows and most other devices and operating systems however will use 1024 bytes to the kilobyte, 1024 kilobytes to the megabyte, etc.So, what does this mean for my 64GB SD card that Windows insists is less than 60GB in capacity?Well, let's see.64,000,000,000 bytes divided by 1024 gives me 62,500,000 kilobytes.62,500,000 kilobytes divided by 1024 gives me 61025.15625 megabytes.61025.15625 megabytes divided by 1024 gives me, sure enough, 59.6046... gigabytes. There is no foul play here, no one is being cheated, just a slight differing in standards which leads to the discrepancy a lot of people have complained about.

I bought this 16gb MicroSD for my raspberry pi and at only £4ish it really is great value for money. The fact that it is a microSD is really handy as when I am not using my pi I can copy an image of the card to my laptop and use the card as a backup for my digital camera. You get 14.8gb from free space from this tiny little card (16gb version)If you are a power user then this probably isn't the card for you based on read/write speeds but for most people including those looking for an SD card for you phone then this will do the job. Those of you looking for repeated snap shots on a DSLR might find this will restrict you a little. This won't be noticeable on a phone.Take your pick of the cards as I am sure they will all perform the same. This is perfect for a dask cam and was originally bought for my G1W.On the whole I would recommend this card however just for the slight improvement on speed and limited difference in cost you should also consider the samsung evo range. They are brighter in colour which may not seem a big deal but if you drop it they can be easier to find.If you found this review helpful, please click on the “Yes” button below. Bought 12/01/2017 (8GB) through Amazon at a cost of £4.29 ncluding delivery. Delivered very quickly in easy to open packaging.I have bought this exact type of card several times to work with various computing related equipment and neverencountered a problem. In this instance I bought this one for use with a quadcopter camera, It worked flawlessly recording a photos above my home.On return home I took the card from the cam to check the content. I inserted it into the converter holder,It played as it should in my laptop and allowed me to transfer film from card to lap top hard drive. The card represents decent value in regard to buying on the internet. Very good value when compared to typical high street shop costs.I will, most certainly buy these cards again through this source when needed either personally or as a gift for someonewho needs such a card.I Write this review based on my personal opinions gleaned as a result of decades of experiences in a professional occupation,as a consumer, a property owner and raising a family. Bought to see if onda v972 could expand to this size of card. It can! So far working perfectly on both onda tablet and PC. At present it's a five star rating, seen low star ratings but hopefully those were rogue cards. I've used Kingston before 8gb, 16gb and 32gb and touch wood all are still working normally. Update card still working normally after format.Do not format this in a PC unless you can see it recognising 64gb on sd card. Always,if you need to, format on tablet or phone. Or better still stick it in your tablet[Onda V972 my tablet]and only format if something goes badly wrong. Don't worry your PC will read the 64gb card but unless you know a bit about format commands on PC's leave well alone.Anyway re format in Onda V972 and now have 59gb free disk space :}This is no fault of the card but a Windows problem, Apple and Linux as far as I'm aware don't have this problem.

I had previously bought a Sandisk which gave me a problem. My review for them relates to this review. As 2 known names in the Memory Market I went for name as well as cost. When the Kigston arrived although it was a Class 10 rather than the Sandisk Class 4 it reacted in the same manner. Inboard SD slots would read it when in the SD adapter, neither a USB Card reader ( tried a couple ), nor an 3.5" Multicard Reader in the Desktop computer would read it. Kingston were very helful and responded quickly to the various emails, but could not solve the problem save to buy one of their own card readers. They felt it must be a mismatch between card in adapter, and 3rd Party USB readers.Item is useable but I have to transfer files between Desktop and Lapton to transfer files to MicroSD form Laptop SD Slot. Bit of a nuisance but c'est la vie

What can I say? This is a "Kingston" memory card! I've used Kingston's memory cards for well over a decade now and this micro card is no exception to all the other cards that I have, when it comes to reliability. I'm using this card in my bike cam and it does the job that is expected. The quality of the data (videos) that it stores is excellent and it has no problem handling HD quality video. Although memory cards are now way too small for backing up files etc. from a PC today, these cards still have their use in cameras and smartphones. As this card is as good as all the other Kingstons I have I highly recommend this product as Kingston cards do tend to last for many years, unless they get lost...Balue for money is excellent, reliability is excelent so these are well worth the buy.

The thing about memory cards is that they only have two main things to contend with: does it store the amount that it says it does? and the most important aspect - time. Does it store it for as long as the user requires or does it only last one year? As I've only purchased this recently I can not speak to the second point however, I will vouch for it regarding the first point.I've worked with Kingston SD cards before and will give it it the benefit of doubt until a fault arises.Other minor points are in favour of the card, those being it is a fast class so reads/writes to the card pretty fast and it comes with a standard size SD card adapter.Overall, baring the test of time thing,I'm personally very happy with my purchase and feel it was excellent value for my money.

I wanted to get a larger chip for my Tesco Hudl (which I highly recommend by the way). Reviews for cheaper chips seemed to reveal quite a few fakes being sold from marketplace sellers who seemed less than straight. Not wanting to spend a fortune I decided to go for a known make, Kingston, and get direct from Amazon rather than an independent as I have had no problems with them in the past. The 32 gb chip arrived quickly and as some reviews said that fakes were disguised 8gb chips I loaded it with 10gb of songs photos etc. and it works fine. I am not a techy and don't know how to do technical tests, but it does what it is supposed to and for the price is excellent value.Obviously time will tell as some reviews say that chips fail after a few months, but so far so good.

I've had this card for some time now, and have grown to love it (almost). I use it in conjunction with my Windows Phone 8S by HTC, meaning, thanks to the Windows Phone OS, the whole 32GB is used for media! Despite the fact that contrary to other reviews this is not a fake and gives me 29GB available space (the rest is used for drivers). However, when used with my phone the media stored on it becomes corrupt rather quickly, meaning a lot of my favourite songs are cut down or won't even play! It's not too much trouble as I have ready access to a computer, but it was annoying while I was on holiday and had no access to my computer! This didn't happen with my old SD card, but that was a meagre 2GB one,so there's no way I'm going back to it!

I bought the Micro SDHC card for my Android phone. I know I'm not the first person to find that every so often the phone tells you the default memory is switching to the phone because the SDHC card has been removed (when it hasn't). I tried all kinds of things to resolve this issue, like switching the phone off, removing the battery, removing and replacing the SDHC card even doing a factory reset and re-installing all the Apps. Then I found that if I remove the card from the phone, put it in the Micro adapter and slip it into my laptop, open a few files and folders, sometimes delete a few files in a Cache folder, then put it back in the phone after letting it cool off for about 15 minutes, hey presto, job fixed.

Having had to return two Samsung Evo cards previously, due to read/write errors, I opted to switch to Kingston. It seems that there are a lot of fake SD cards circulating at the moment and whilst I'm sure that this will also apply to Kingston I reckoned that they would be a better bet than Samsung or SanDisk. After running the same read/write/comparison tests, using vconsole's Flash Drive Tester, the Kingston card passed without error, albeit slightly slower than the Samsung coming in at 13.049MB/s on a write as opposed to 14.987MB/s for the Samsung. The card arrived very quickly and was only slightly more expensive than the Samsung and, most importantly, didn't have to be returned so I'm happy to give it 5*.

I wanted to expand the memory of an ASUS T100 notebook, but I was nervous of how the notebook would treat the expansion of the memory. Additionally, the notebook does indicate how SDHC should be inserted and which way up. The slot for the SDHC looks fragile. Received the SDHC and gingerly slotted it in. Failed to insert the SDNC initially, but turned it around and the ASUS notebook immediately recognised it and installed the memory as an extension to the existing memory. Works well and I don't even recognise that it there as all the memory functions are maintained automatically. Class 10 facility at an acceptable price. PC outlets charging double plus price for the same item.

I've purchased a number of these micro memory cards and so far have always been very pleased with them. This one was bought to use in my Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 mobile phone to increase the memory. I have also purchased another one previously which is used in my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I didn't seem to have any problem installing them. The card comes with an adaptor which means you can use it with a card reader. I was worried that it wouldn't be a genuine product - as there are loads of reviews describing various problems - but it all seems fine and works okay (but I'm not very technical though!). The price seemed good and the card was despatched promptly.
