This is finally something that I can use in my kitchen! I do occasionally steaks and other forms of meat that require tenderising. For years I have been using a traditional tool made with wood and finished with some crude metal. It worked, but I was not satisfied with the level of hygiene as I could not stick the thing into my dishwasher.So I started searching for a dishwasher safe tenderiser. I found a number of items here on amazon, but the users were disappointed with their not being really dishwasher safe.I tried Marks and Spencer and yes, surely, they had a stainless steel tenderiser for £9.50 (plus £3.50 delivery), looking modern and nice, but on arrival, first of all it was tiny and light,

I am very pleased with this meat tenderiser hammer.It is solid stainless-steel, and nice and heavy, but not too heavy for use, with a hook to hang it up in the cupboard.Being stainless steel it is also naturally non-stick, so there is no need to put it in a dish-washer. Use it, run it under a tap with a quick brush over, and it's clean.There is no surface finish/coating to fail, as it is just brushed/polished Stainless Steel.It may well cost 3 to 4 times more than some of the aluminium ones but it is well worth the extra (minimal) cost- the cheap ally ones will go in the bin in a month or 4, and this one will last a life-time.

It is a simple product - a stainless steel meat hammer. Does the job well and then goes in the dishwasher. I bought this one because all the alternates I found were plated metal or wood, so not really suitable to go in dishwashers and they had many negative reviews (plating issues etc). It is another example of solid, sound German engineering. More expensive than the alternates but you get what you pay for!

Ordered t-time and delivered next morning - how impressive is that. Excellent quality, good weight but what is so impressive it can be washed in the dish washer - thanks to all those reviewers who have written warnings on other meat hammers about dish washing. I wanted to replace my wooden mallet because I was worried about bacteria etc. Very pleased indeed and well worth its price.

The WMF meat hammer is just what I expected. Looks very good, works extremly well (as it is quite heavy) and most important for me: I can put it in a dishwasher!I was fed up with wooden meat hammers or other metal onces that discoloured after washing in a dishwasher.WMF meat hammer is just right.

I am a big fan of wmf products and this meat hammer did not disappoint at all. It is solid stainless steel, heavy enough and can be washed in a dishwasher. Looks great and is great quality as all the wmf products are. Great buy and a huge improvement versus my old unbranded plain one.

ed up with cheaper hammenrs which are not dishwasher proof and soon lose their coating, I invested in this stainless steel hammer. It's chunky, appropriately heavy, well built and solid. It's also expensive given what you get, but there are few alternatives at this quality.

Quality item, I make schnitzels alot and after using my rolling pin for years I decided to treat myself top something a little bit more proffesional, beautifully weight, high shine, does the job magnificently.

Having purchased this to tenderise meat we find that it makes both meats and chicken cook quicker and go further! Great in the economic climate or if you want to trick your eyes and loose weight! Added bonus..

A top-quality, superbly made, heavy kitchen hammer. Works exactly as you expect to flatten out meat and tenderise. Lovely to use...You pay a bit more, but so well worth it: will last a lifetime...

It is well made, solid stainless steel hammer. I expected it to be a little bit heavier but my wife is very happy with it. Another purchase of WMF products - another happy purchase.

Indestructible, quite heavy and very simple construction - that what a meat hammer should be! I have most kitchen utensils from wmf and I can recommend it strongly!

Arrived on time, as described by the seller. Heavy weight hammer expensive but worth the extra dishwasher safe much better than our previous one.

It is solid, clean and practicle. It is very stylish.I use it very often and it services its purposes. I bought the same for my daughter.
