I did a lot of research on ceiling fans before I bought this one. Our bedroom is quite small and any larger than 36” wouldn’t have fitted due to cupboard doors and position of light fitting. So I bought this fan and a Westinghouse remote to go with it. On reading the instructions the first line stated that the fan would not work without a twin pole switch! But putting my electrical knowledge to work I soon realised that that was not the case, and after a very fiddly hour assembling the fan, (make sure you have a magnetised screw driver) when it came to fitting it on the ceiling it was really easy! Just plugged in and everything worked fine.

I bought this in anticipation of a hot summer. It came in a small box and contained 2 sets of double sided fan blades. So in fact you can mix and match to your hearts content. It is very easy to put together and can easily be mounted by one competent DIYer.The light bulb is the small E14 (Small Edison Screw SES) type and can be up to 60W. I've put a spiral 11W energy saving bulb which gives the same output as a 60W incandescent bulb; You can go higher. The fan can push air down or push air up towards the ceiling for winter and summer use. Putting the blades on is rather faffy. The fan motor is 50W and runs very quiet. My ceiling is the standard "low" height and I opted to flush mount the fan.

It really does look great in the kids room. Having the two sets of reversible blades is also great. I was originally put off by the look of the light fitting but it looks much better in the flesh.It loses points as the ceiling fixture isn't great. It really needs four screw points to allow flexibility in positioning and levelling. Fitting is reasonably straightforward, and very easy to wire up. However it took me three attempts at fitting then removing to work out why it was so noisy /buzzing. Turns out out it wasn't hanging perfectly vertical and comes down to the ceiling fitting which after a faff with a spirit level (there's no easy straight edges to get a level on it properly) finally got it sorted.

I ordered this for my little girls room. When ordered i didnt realise it was coming from Germany but was suprised when it arrived faster that most UK deliveries,tracked all the way via a DHL link sent by the seller.The fan comes with a choice of blades to suit your decor, pastel colours,bright colours,cream or wood effect. I chose the pastel colours and must say it makes a real feature in my little ones room. It has x3 speed settings and is a lovely quiet fan. I was a little bit worried as the images make the fan look a little tacky (in my opinion) but they do not do it justice as the fan looks really good quality once up on the ceiling. A must for any little princess.

This is a great product. Sturdy and well made, it has 3 fan settings and gives off a good breeze on all 3. We bought this for our childs bedroom. It is surprisingly quiet, especially on the lowest setting. The choice of blade colour is really good value. We have chosen the vibrant primary colours which have a good depth of colour. The pastel shades are also very good. The pictures don't really do them justice. This is a nice and compact fan, great for a bedroom. Would definately recommend.

Love this fan it's brilliant. Good quality and not too big. Really does it's job well. Brilliant that you have a choice of colours to fit in with your decor. Only problem was fitting a bulb and then putting the glass shade on. It Was a tight fit and I cracked the shade so had to send for a replacement shade. It was an added expense for a brand new fan. Took the edge off a great purchase.

I would probably like more installation instructions for the remote. Contacted westinghouse for support, they were very good and sorted out my issue. I would recommend buying this fan, and getting the manufacturers remote. It did take a while for the fan to bed in, and quieten down, give it time before passing judgement, setting 1 is very quiet to sleep with.

Absolutely love these fans !... I had two installed by the service provided which was quick and efficient. They are definitely keeping us much cooler !..they look great too .Only downside is the light its self isnt very bright as you can only have a 60w bulb but other than that id highly reccomend .

Lovely fan for our sons rooms. All the different coloured panels means we can adapt it as he gets older! Quite fiddly to put up and had to add extra screws to ceiling to support it as it had a wobble when on, other than that it’s lovely

Great fan. Simple to install. I bought 7 and used in all bedrooms as it’s quiet and conservatory, some with extender rod some without. Optionally you can wire light & fan to a 2-gang switch or both together and use the pull cords.

we have this fan in the baby's bedroom with the pastel colours facing down it fits in well with the decorations of the roomit is well built and meets all the expectations of a ceiling fan with good speed selections available

Love the colour of the blades and also that there was an option to have normal wood colour blades too. The only thing that disappoints me is that the bulb that u can use isn't very bright for our living room

Great fan looks great in my boys graffiti room alot bigger than thought great solid nice choice of colours aswell bright vs pastel and white vs beech wood worth the money

Excellent fan very quiet, we purchased one for our daughters room and we were really impressed by it so bought one for our bedroom. I would definitely recommend this fan.

The wesWestinghouse Ceiling Ftinghouse Turbo Ceiling Fan was a great purchase, easy to install and is very quiet on all 3 speed setting. I would recommend it to anyone.
