A really well designed product.very low sound and doesn't get too hot. my Cocker spaniel puppy isn't really afraid of it she is a little weary of it, but with treats is quite happy to have it near her blowing at her fur.The hair dryer itself is very robust and of good quality.I love the stand too,its really well designed and fits the dryer in perfectly. I will use it for my children too as they absolutely hate hair dryers and I can see them being fine with this one. A really good buy. brought it in the deals over Newyear, but would be more than happy to have paid full r.r.p for it. I would definitely recommend this productupdate - with the raining season upon us I have used the hair dryer several times for my puppy.

This is a great hairdryer and has proved to be a fantastic buy. It is quieter than a conventional hairdryer so your dog will quickly get used to it & happily stand still while been dried. It has the bonus of a powerful cool shot button that you hold in while using one of the three speed/heat settings immediately turning the air from hot to cold. This has been a god send during hot weather when my 2 Border Terriers would regularly come home dirty, hot and tired after digging for rabbits and have needed to be washed. The cool shot button not only aids in the drying, but has the bonus of cooling them down! The other great thing about it is that it has an extra long cable meaning I can dry them outside on a dry day without the need to mess around with extension cables.

I bought this for my Chihuahua cross who is very wary of noises. Even now that she's nearly 16 months when I dry my own hair (with a regular blow dryer) she bolts under the bed.Bought this for after bath-time. It was amazing! She wasn't sure at first, so the fact I could hold her and massage her with both hands really helped. After a bit she didn't resist and freely stood in front of it. I towel dried her first, then let her shake and run around a bit, so the drying from the hairdryer was really to dry the damp. Started on lowest setting, then moved to the second setting.I'm so grateful (as is she I think!!)...in the past we'd do the towell dry, then she'd run around the house,

For the price this is an excellent hairdryer. It gets the job done.I particularly like the extra long lead that comes with it. That way I don't have to worry about having to stand right next to the wall socket.It comes with a stand and a nozzle that is quite useful.It has three settings and I personally like that they don't get too hot as it is intended for animals. Even though they don't heat up too much please don't use the hairdryer too close to your pet!I like the stand. It helps as I can use it hands free. My only issue with it is the button you have to press to move the stand. It can be quit dodgy and fiddly at times.For the price I was expecting a really poor performing hairdryer but it is actually quite powerful.

Not just for pets!This product should be available health and beauty for humans, [Wahl seem to missing a big market] as it's a great hands free dryer. Not put off that it was for pets I brought this to dry my own hair as I have mobility problems and could not be more pleased with it.Very nicely made product,sleek black finish and I don't mind that it has a little dog logo on it. The stand is excellent and very stable, better than a tripod version I last had which would over balance. The dryer is plenty powerful. I am also very pleased with the long cable which helps when the plug socket is not near a mirror,which is often the case when away from home.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first is still in excellent order, but the second one was purchased as a donation for animal welfare . We have found it to be excellent on our small dogs. Very easy to use and the dogs do not trouble us. Gives control on amount of heat required and as it is on a stand we can easily keep it as a distance which does not upset the pet. I have seen larger hair dryer used in grooming parlours and often the dogs are very uncomfortable in the strong blast which covers their entire body, and would not be pleasant trying to breathe with hot air blowing directly in your face.This one is smaller and therefore covers only the part of the body being brushed and dried giving beautiful results.

Item arrived safely and appears ideal for purpose in drying my Lhaso Apso after running the fields. The dryer sits nicely in the stand to allow both hands to be used for grooming....drying, brushing, holding still!The stand allows the air to be blown at an angle suitable to where the dog is sitting, but one comment to note.....when the dryer is in the stand the switches at the front are a little difficult to operate through the narrow slot should you need to alter the heat setting. I may very well cut the slot to be wider to gain easier access for my fingers.Otherwise, a nicely designed item and the quietest dryer I've seen, which is ideal for a nervous dog.Recommended,

This is an excellent hairdryer, perfect for my dog after a bath, a rainy walk or a romp on the beach.Bought this as was recommended by other positive reviewers and they were right. The motor is very quiet, more so than my own, and the stand helps with grooming and holding your dog. There are several settings and these are very useful especially when introducing the dog to the hairdryer. Just don't expect your dog to take to it straight away. As with anything new and maybe slightly scary you have to introduce it to your dog in small doses. I used the approach/touch and treat method and now my dog doesn't mind it at all!Highly recommend it.

I use this primarily on my 4 long haired Guinea Pigs. Every so often I need to wash them, so to keep them warm I needed a hairdryer for them. They are easily spooked by loud noises, so I deliberately chose this one after reading the reviews about the noise level. It is super easy to start up and put together. The stand is pretty stable when on a table, though I rarely need to use it in my case, it's always great having that option though!I'm very impressed with the quality & for the price you can't go wrong. It's now been two years since I've owned this & it's still just as good as new.

Obviously a brilliant product, but to fit the dryer into the stand requires that the mains lead be threaded through first. Unfortunately the UK mains plug is too large to pass the aperture and needs to be taken off first and then replaced when the lead has been inserted and pulled through. The documentation (except the on-line image) does not show how the lead fits the stand. Other photographs were obscured by the packaging.Dismantling the plug necessitates breaking the QC seal and must only be done by a suitably qualified person.

This dryer is a real life saver. you just set it to the angle desired and hey presto your hands are free to brush and control your dog. Ideal for all breeds especially small with long coats like Yorkies and Maltese. I have a maltese and drying a long coat can be a real pain.However I would recommend it to all dog owners (up to medium sized). By the way it's great as a personal hair dyrier too and the stand is easy to adjust. It's not loud and it's the first time my dog hasn't barked at the dryer. Thank you Wahl!

Love this. Had looked to getting this product at a dog show early December, but it was double the price, which I thought was very good. I must say the credit goes to the couple who were trying to price match the product, when I overheard. I saw it was through Amazon, so looked it up myself and ordered it. Glad I did the product came quickly and the lead is extra long which I wasn't expecting but absolutely delighted to have. This product sits on my new grooming table where I'm able to dry my dogs with ease.

Having struggled for years with a hand-held drier for my previous dog, I was determined with my new puppy to find a free-standing drier. This is absolutely fantastic and so easy to use. My dog sits quite contentedly with the drier pointed at her, whilst I am able to dry and brush at the same time without having to struggle holding a hand held drier, brush and dog! I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to other people. Absolutely fabulous.

On receiving this I am delighted with the product as I can easily dry off my dog after a walk to the park when she is wet.The dog loves it and it has a button that reduces or controls the heat so that it doesn't get too hot.The 3 speeds are convenient too allowing me to slow the rate of drying as the dog dries.The stand is great and helps me groom my dog while hands free with a brush or comb.I really recommend this product, the build quality is good!

Great hairdryer purchased purely for the fact you could use hands free. I wanted for when I dry my teacup chihuahua so I can hold him on my knee with one hand, brush him with the other and then let the dryer stand free on the cupboard/table to dry him without him getting over heated which tended to be the case with standard handheld dryer as it got too close to him. For the purpose I purchased namely a dog dryer it's brilliant and I definitely recommend.
