Babyliss Platinum Diamond 2300 Diffuser is a bit of a mouthful,it's also a very good hairdryer. It's light,dries your hair very quickly and has 3 heat settings, 2 speed settings and a cold shot button. The high heat and speed settings are for your initial drying when you change to the respective lower settings as your hair begins to dry then the "Cold Shot" to finish off. If that seems complicated it's really not and even if you've never used this kind of dryer before you'll soon get the hang of it. The dryer has a 2300 watt electric motor for quick drying and on a practical note it comes with a 2.7 metre cable ,which should be long enough for most people.The dryer come with both a Concentrator Nozzle and a Diffuser for that thicker,wavy look.

Finally, a hairdryer with decent power!I tried 3 different hairdryers before this one to replace my old Babyliss... All of them claimed to be fast drying and powerful, but none of them were much better than the dryers you get at the public leisure centre.The winning secret is not in the wattage, but it's the AC motor (compared to a DC). The power blast from this is considerably stronger, and the nozzle is super concentrated compared to other dryers. I have thick long hair that waves and frizzes, but only needed to section it to dry in two parts to get a very smooth shiny finish - see photos. It takes no time at all, it's really effective and I'm so pleased with it.Also, it looks professional and stylish,

I mostly use this with the diffuser attachment to dry my hair when curly. I usually use on low to medium heat and a high speed. High heat is very hot so be careful if you decide to use it. I mostly use high heat when I deep condition/oil my hair and I want to warm up the hair and product under the conditioning cap, taking advantage of how hot it gets to really get the oils or hair masks into my hair.The high speed is very powerful, which I love. The coolshot setting is also very useful. I don't usually spend more money for a blowdryer but I definitely notice the differences between this blowdryer and a cheaper one.

I have fine 3b hair which experiences almost no good hair days, and it has been looking pretty good since I started using this hairdryer and diffuser. I thought it wouldn't beat my older Remington model, but turned out to be the best hairdryer I've owned for the following reasons:- even when I use it to dry in an upwards direction, I get basically no frizz, and the mid-heat setting is a good warmth (others have been slightly too hot, causing damage).- on the highest speed setting, it still doesn't blast air out (causing the hair to blow all over the place), so your hair will stay in place and retain its curl pattern whilst drying.- the actual diffuser has more holes so the air is more equally dispersed and has more,

Now, I know nada about hairdryers. Probably because I have not had to use one for a very long time as my hair did a runner many, many years ago. However, I needed a Christmas present for my Mum and she was after a spanky new hairdryer.So, I basically came up with a shortlist of ones with the best reviews and at the best prices and passed this list to my better half who is far more in tune with these things. This model was recommended and duly purchased. Before I wrapped the gift up my wife saw it in the flesh and suffered an instant case of hairdryer envy - must be good then!But, the last word comes from my Mother, and unlike the man from Delmonte, she says 'Excellent!'. Can't say fairer than that.

this as a travel dryer as mine blew up while away. If I’m honest I wasn’t expecting too much from it, I decided to try it out this morning and what a shock I got. It’s so lightweight yet powerful and if I’m really honest it’s far better than my regular ‘home’ dryer which has a wattage. I have neck and spine problems and struggle to hold a hairdryer for prolonged time as I end up with pain. has 3 different heat and 3 power settings along with a button to press and hold for just cooling for a minute. Left my hair lovely and soft and comes two extra pieces I used the nozzle piece which has left my hair lovely and soft and not as wavy as it normally would be also took less time than normal to dry

This hairdryer is exactly what you expect from the BaByliss brand. It's reasonably priced, does a good job and is decent quality. It's black with a slight glittered affect to it.There are 3 heat settings, with 2 power modes and a cool shot button. I find it's powerful enough to dry my hair quite quickly (I have fine hair so no issues there!) and it's not too heavy to hold. One slight annoyance is the buttons are on the side and you slide them rather than switch them, and it can be a bit fiddly. But if they were switches being where they are situated (on the side rather than under the handle like most other hairdryers)

Babylis diamond diffuser hairdryer and my does it shine. It looks sleek and It has a nice glittery effect to it. No major need to section hair as 3/4 of my hair was dry in 4 mins and completely dry in 7mins. Would recommended for anyway whose hair seems to hold onto water, long or thick hair. Ideal for hairdressers and those wanting to cut down on styling time. The small head allows for precise accuracy when drying the hair. As hair was not subjected to heat for as long my usual hairdryer would do it definitely felt silkier and looked and felt better conditioned. It tamed my frizz for a smooth look, my hair looks absolutely aamaaaaaazzzzing. I cannot rate this hairdryer high enough,

Does the job. More powerful than expected considering the price. I use the maximum setting (very powerful) for quick dry and medium one for blow dry. The temperature settings are very good also, my old one was cold/hot/too hot will burn your hair and the drier. That one has good settings, cold, warm (I can use it on my toddler without her running away because it’s too hot) and reasonably hot.My only criticism is that the buttons are on the side of the handle. Make it less easy if you’re left handed or when you pass it from one hand to the other while blow drying as with your left hand you can’t reach the buttons with your thumb. Buttons in the middle work better.

Although a little heavy and noisy, this is overall a great hairdryer for curly hair. It’s good-looking if that’s important to you and the settings are easy to use and switch between. The diffuser is twice the size of my old one so I can dry my hair faster. On the highest heat setting it gets pretty hot but if you keep your ears tucked in, it’s bearable! The cold shot works well and joy of joys it leaves my hair frizz free (although I’ve also treated my hair to a new washing regime and styling products so it may not just be the hair dryer!!). Sorted.

Great product, not heavy,easy to hold,buttons placed in good place so you can't switch anything by accident.First setting is cold air, which is great. Then medium and hot. Diffuser let's it down luckily I have my own. This one is flat plate so air isn't concentrated enough. I have one in a "cup" shape and it makes massive difference.Also people complaining that it burned hair or melted plastic should read that you shouldn't use the "concentrating" attachment on highest setting as it says in instructions! Reading safety instructions helps?

Wasn't sure about the controls being on the side of the handle but being right handed no problem at all. It is noisy but doesn't bother me. Its weighty but again fine for me feels like a quality item, the weight balance is fine so dont find the weight a problem. The size of machine smaller than I expected. But the power is immense. The smoothing nozzle very narrow so produces a great smooth finish. Again the diffuser is good. Blow drying to get hair dried quickly without nozzles is very swift. Overall im very happy with this dryer.

I gave the BaByliss Platinum Diamond 2300 Diffuser Hair Dryer to my wife who was pleased to receive this. She advised the 3 heat settings and 2 speed were all useful to have and they worked effectively as expected. The weight and feel of the hair dryer in use was felt to be good and not inhibitive in usage. The diffuser was felt to be effective in the way the heat was distributed in usage. Overall given the good quality and the practicality of the hair-dryer and this price level this was felt to be a very good option and reliable.

My old hairdryer gave up, so needed a new one. I found this with good reviews and reasonably priced. Having quite short hair and not really like to spend too much time on styling I probably should have bought a smaller lighter hairdryer. The setting even on 1 is pretty powerful, and the controlling buttons on the site not very easy to change during drying. It is quite have to use on own hair, maybe is much better to use to style someone else hair and for a hairdresser. Having said that my hair is without frizz using it.

Fantastic hair dryer, used it to dry my hair which is long and as you can see it’s wet and with the hairdryer and nozzle it was amazingly quick and great drying my hair, has a cool button also if you have it at the high heat, the hair dryer has amazing power to dry, 3 heat setting & 2 speeds. The hair dryer is light weight so isn’t heavy in my hand while drying, the cord is long which is a massive plus especially if your doing your hair at a mirror. Highly recommend this hair dryer it’s amazing
