I previously had a pair of very expensive straighteners but when they packed in, I decided I didn't want to spend that much money again. I did quite a bit of research before buying these. People have negative things to say about even the big brands so I decided to give these straighteners a try. I'm very glad I did. They are excellent. They heat up in 15 seconds, have a long cable which is useful and are very smooth on my hair - there is no pulling. They are as good as my previous pricey ones.

These are great straighteners. I have only used them for curling my almost waist length, thick, layered hair and they are fab. The curl stays in beyond the first day but becomes a lovely loose wave which is nice and even,Can't comment on how well they straighten as I don't use them in this way.They leave your hair really smooth and shiny, presumably due to the ionic feature. They heat up and cool down quickly and the heat proof wrap/pad they come with is a useful extra. Nice long cord too.

After my old Babyliss straighteners of over 7 years finally gave up I thought I'd give this pair a try after reading all the positive reviews. They do exactly what you need from a pair of straighteners and leave my hair straight! I have thick hair and these work just fine, have to go over each strand a couple of times but I've always had to do that! I think these make my hair slightly shinier but it's not a noticeable difference. Not sure if makes my hair less frizzier either but still.

These are amazing straighteners and the price is unbelievable! Did quite a big of reviewing of different ones and prices and these always came out very well.My third pair of GHD’s have died and did not want to spend that sort of money again.They heat up very quickly, the plates run well over your hair, the cable is long and they are easy to hold & I do not miss my GHD’s.Just one thing...shop around for the best price it differed so much Argos was far the cheapest on this product.

I have just tried these as my usual top brand straighteners have no heat control alternatives and my hair is very heat damaged, I decided to try something new. So far so good. The cable is a little less flexible than on my previous ones but with three heat settings and having extremely fine hair, I tried the coolest one and it does the same job as my old full heat ones. They glide through the hair easily, no dragging and I haven't felt the need to repeatedly go over the same section.

Went for Babyliss straighteners again as was pleased with the last set. I do need 3m cord to reach my wardrobe mirror so that restricted me to which ones I chose. I use them on the hottest setting and they're fine but am still getting used to the feel of them. They feel thinner and less robust and the plates on my last pair were slightly wider but having shortish hair I didn't want to get the really wide ones. All ok so far and I hope they last as many years as the previous ones.

My current GHD gave up and so in a quick buy I decided to get these. Thoughts were they would do until I shop around/save and get a new pair of Ghds. Needn’t of worried, not sure if other manufacturers got much better at replicating the ghds but I’m more than happy with these. Only one bad point that I’ve found so far it’s easier to burn yourself, outside of straighteners do get very hot. They do include a hot mat/wrap for storage brilliant for when they are just turned off.

I have naturally very curly hair and have used ghds for years. My current pair I'd had for at least 10 years and didn't seem to be as good anymore. I found a review of babyliss diamond straighteners online and thought at the bargain price I had nothing to loose. They are brilliant! Better that ghd which is something I never thought I'd say. My hair stays straighter, it's shinier and looks better. Doesn't take me as long to straighten either. Wouldn't hesitate to recomend.

Now I'm going to be honest as I have never owned a set of straighteners, so I have nothing to compare these to.I bought these while they were on offer, so the price was fairly reasonable. They heat up very quickly and they do the job they were bought for, I use them for myself and my 6yr old daughter (with heat protection spray) whose hair is quite fluffy and usually unmanageable. They are easy to use and the temperature on the lowest setting is good enough for daily use.

Unfortunately I can't rave about this product. Compared to my old straighteners (Remington) these feel quite tinny and there is a buzzing noise by the on switch. As these are only my 2nd pair of straighteners, I thought it was standard that they came with a switch to keep them closed when not in use, obviously not.On the positive side, they heat up really quickly and straighten well. Glad I got them half price as I would be very disappointed if I'd paid full price!

This product is fantastic. I refuse to pay an arm and a leg for “fancy” straighteners and I’m glad I didn’t. These straighteners are perfect! There are three heat settings however I only use the coolest setting and find it works well for my hair. My hair isn’t damaged after use and feels smooth. It heats up quickly and is easy and intuitive to use. The way that the end of the straighteners are shaped means that it’s easy to produce curls as well as straighten.

I bought these as I saw them on the “top 10” list of straighteners for 2019 and they were obviously a fraction of the price of GHD’s. They have 3 heat settings, they get to temperature really quickly and straighten my hair just as well as my GHD’s did.The only down side I have come across is the edges of the ceramic plates get hot unlike GHD’s so have caught myself a couple of times:Overall, I am way more impressed by these than I expected to be!

Bought these to replace my last BaByliss straighteners which I had for 5 years! I am so pleased with them. They leave such a silky shine to my hair after straightening.My hair stays straight throughout the day and has a great shine to it. I've even had comments saying how shiny my hair looks!Simple to use and has 3 heat settings so you can chose how hot you would like them. Really impressed with them and would definitely recommend! 5*

This straightener works miracles on my hair. It heats up very quickly and it is very easy to use. My hair was straightened within minutes literally. The best part of all is that is actually remained straight throughout the event that I attended and the sweat from dancing did not cause the hair to become frizzy or wavy. I have also used morrocan hair oil on damp hair before i straightened it. I definitelly recommend this product!

Luckily was able to get this whilst it was on offer or could never hope to own such a great straightener!Heats up really quick and does a really great job on my super thick and very long hair, I think I save about 5-10 mins when straightening now. The plates glide right over and never snag or feel like they're pulling, hair stays straight ALL day and does stay less frizzy than before.Its also black and sparkly which helps :D
