I've had all previous incarnations of the Big Hair. This is probably my favourite but I'm not convinced it's worth the additional 50% (at the time of writing) cost on the original.Pros:- Looks and feels lux- Doesn't get quite as hot so feels a bit less damaging- Better grip on the hair- Spins a bit fasterCons:- Expensive- The new style buttons are a bit more awkward- No improvement in finish to the hair compared to originalOverall, I have no problems with this at all, and knowing I like the product I'll definitely get a couple of years use out of this. If you haven't used a Big Hair before though,

I replaced my original brush after only using about 20 times over the last couple of years - which is not very good value for money in my view. Brush number one started rotating irritatingly slowly - although no hair was caught in the mechanism - so it really wasn't able to straighten and smooth the hair as it should.I decided to give this new one a go after India Knight raved about it in The Sunday Times Style Magazine. Really not sure at the moment; I keep getting my hair caught in this model (I didn't in the last one). The brush is very different and my hair gets easily tangled. I definitely had the knack with the last one, so the jury is still very much out with this model.I have a lot of frizzy mid length hair and it does make it a lot smoother,

I like the product which I bought because I have naturally curly hair which is prone to frizz without blowdrying. However, the heat setting could be a little hotter as I have to hold my other hand over the barrel as it turns to get the heat right through. At the moment I have fairly short hair so could do with one with a smaller barrel for the neckline. Suggestion to Babyliss. Make a choice of 2 sizes and then you will clinch the market. Much easier than blowdrying with a brush and hairdryer.Over all I am pleased with my purchase.

I used to go every week to the hairdresser for a blow dry as I wasn’t able to do my hair myself - I have a LOT of hair, and it is very curly/frizzy and impossible to manage myself. I have wasted probably hundreds of pounds on various hair gadgets which promised the world. Not in my case...... However, this Hot Air Styler is truly a godsend. I found it easy to master the technique and can do my hair in twenty minutes. So happy, particularly when I think of all the money I’m saving not going to the hairdresser weekly!

Having used variations on this theme, this one takes the longest to adjust to. Don't overload the brush, small sections are better (less chance of hair being ripped out). Not much heat variation between the three settings, hot is hot but the difference between cold and the middle temperature is negligible. That said it is a good dryer, gives a nice finish, style holds all day. The downside is that it is extortionately expensive for what it is and does..Would I purchase it again? Probably not.

This has made hair styling at home so much easier, I can now put some waves and bounce into my hair . Easy to use and has some great features.My hair is shoulder length it gives me some bounce, best use is on damp hair not wet to use properly, inbetween washes Ive dampened my hair then used to style, works great. On first use I got my hair a little tangled but practice soon sorts that out. Its a great product, a great price, I would never be without mine now and take it on my weekends away.

I recently broke my wrist and couldn't hold my hairdryer. After reading lots of reviews I decided on the BaByliss.I can blow dry my hair from practically wet. Easy to use, light as a feather (compared to my hairdryer), can dry my hair in around 15 minutes (one handed). I have just over shoulder length layered hair. Small sections are best. If you load too much hair, it gets caught at the end of the barrel. I dont get tonnes of volume, but I dont use products on my hair and it's quite fine.

I've always been a fan of babyliss big hair brushes, and this is the best yet. The ionic system controls frizz and enhances shine, the 50mm ceramic barrel smooths hair from root to ends. It has 2 heat settings and a cool setting to lock in style. It rotates clockwise and anti clockwise, it's so easy to get a salon look blow dry at home. Comfortable to hold and easy to switch heat settings and direction of barrel. Blow dry curly hair straight, great news for hair... no need for straighteners!

Lightweight with switch controls easily accessed by thumb enabling quick swivel operation of the revolving brush head, controlling the temperature was easy to read with clear visual lights blue, amber, red. Remained cool to touch on continuous high heat without cutting out. Tangle free 2.5 metre cord did not get in the way when using the dryer at different angles. Soft bristle brushes with sensor controlled heat did not pull or burn my hair or scalp. Easy to wipe clean barrel and brushes.

Very pleased with my new brush, far quicker to dry and style my fine hair. The bristles were rubbish on the first brush (far too soft with no grip), so I was dubious about trying the latest one of several which have been brought out since the initial one. However this brush is a different animal completely. The only negative point is that I find the handle a bit too long, i.e. when your hand and thumb are operating the switches turning the head, there is a lot of handle below your hand.

Takes a while to get the hang of it; easier to use it on someone else, especially in the beginning. When using it on yourself it tends to feel heavier and hard to figure out which way to rotate it. Loved the fact that it has the technology not to get too hot or cause any pain if left on the hair too long. Works well on all the temperatures with a smooth rotation in each direction.The end result is good, shiny look, salon finish but you do need to ensure the hair is 80% dry first.

If you struggle to style your hair, this little helper can be what you're looking for!You can choose between 3 temperatures: cold (which you could use to fix your style on a daily basis) and 2 heat levels (the lowest is already satisfying).The brush is gentle on hair and scalp: gives volume and straightens your hair at the same time...you just have to get the grip of the rotation direction!The only drawback is that the bristles are already opening up after 2 uses.

Having read a very positive review in the Sunday Times I wanted to try this even though I’m happy with the original style Big Hair this is far superior. My hair is sleeker and more shiny. My hair is very thick with a tendency to waviness and frizz. With this I quickly have smart shiny hair ready for work. It grips hair better and i’ve had no tangling issues. I’m so pleased with this that since I used it the first time, my other Big Hair hasn’t been touched.

First time using these. Used it twice now and I’m very impressed with it. When I get blow drys it costs me like £30 a time. This gives exactly the same result and it’s so easy to use. I have naturally waved/frizzy thick hair and it really styles it well. Would highly recommend. Really easy to use as well. Thought my hair may get tangelled up but hasn’t yet and the heat isn’t strong so when it’s close to your hair there’s no damage/burning feeling!

I have tried many hair blowers and hairdryers, I’ve mid length hair with a natural wave so, my hair usually goes back to ‘own’ style after a while. Not with this, it really is like a hairdressers styling & held for a full day! Even when I’d been playing with my great niece, a toddler on the move, all day.Will add pics and highly recommend, better styling than any I’ve ever used and so easy to use!
