Bought as christmas present for niece but my girls have had same babyliss crimpers for 2/3years.They heat up very quickly and only takes about 15mins to do full head of long hair.Ideal for their dance shows as they really stand out on stage(you can do a bigger quiff with crimped hair and it holds really well) and even during rehearsals pre show and heat on stage, the crimp stays the same. Over a few days gradually relaxes and hair washed before crimp fully out of hair(even daughter whose hair doesn't hold a style as good).They also like getting it waved and curled but this style outlasts any other I have done on their hair and quickest style to do.

I BOUGHT THESE CRIMPERS ON A BIT OF A WHIM FOR MY DAUGHTERS HAIR. KNOWING THAT SHE HAS SUCH HEAVY THICK HAIR I DIDNT EXPECT THEM TO DO AMUCH OF A JOBBUT TO AMAZEMENT THEY CRIMPED REALLY QUICKLY AND YOU CAN USE LARGER SECTIONS OR HAIR WITH THESE ONES AND NOT ONLT THAT IT ONLY TOOK 15 MINS TO DO THE ALL HER JUST PAST THE SHOULDER HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND AS A TEST I LEFT HER HAIR FOR A WEEK AND IT WAS STILL AS CRIMPED AS WHEN I FIST DID IT.AN ABSOULUTE MUST BUY I WOULD EVEN RECCOMMEND THEM TO THE QUEENWELL DONE BABYLISS

I bought this product to crimp my hair for an 80's night and chose this crimper purely for the impressive reviews. I was not disappointed - this is so quick - I have thick waist length hair with layers and set the crimpers to level 6 (hottest level is 10 I believe) and I only need to hold them on sections of hair for afew seconds to get really good results. This product gives your hair extra volume and lift at the roots too which is an added bonus. Brilliant for crimping t random areas to give straight hair some texture. Love it.

Bought these to replace my previous BaByliss crimpers which had been with me for almost 20 years. They look great, especially for us old goths (black & purple!) and deliver the long-lasting crimpage you'd expect from BaByliss. The various heat settings are easy to use, though purple on black makes it a little tricky to read the numbers - just a simple dial on the inner handle, and they heat up quickly.The only slight drawback is that the location of the power buttons makes it easy to catch whilst in use, so be aware of this.

Got these to try not sure what was expecting, had kind of an image in my head but these WOW these are absolutely fantastic, they heat up very quickly and very easy to control, the volume to my hair is incredible, I’ve very long hair down to my waist and these crimp my hair in 25 mins and it last for days, I personally go back over it as I love the full look but wow four days of big hair and no need to wash it as feels so clean with all that volume. I can’t believe the result and such a low price

I bought this for an 80's fancy dress party-I wanted big wacky hair-HUGE success. I usually have straight, flat, thin hair and the crimper made a BIG difference. Even though I did crazy hair for the party, I've used the crimper several times since (for more subtle looks!) - it adds so much volume and is so easy to use. I've managed to create so many different hairstyles with this crimper which is a huge accomplishment for someone who used to wear their hair either down straight or in a ponytail.

I have used BaByliss crimpers for many years (34!) and have always found them to be reliable and long lasting. Over the years they have changed their shape a little, now giving a slightly wider crimp, which still gives fine hair good volume. The plates are coated which seem to help the crimper have a smoother action through your hair. Heats up in a flash and is easy to transport. I always keep a spare in the house for when a machine finally breaks down (5+ years) as I would be lost without it..!

I recently bought these for my daughters 6th birthday, she loves them! They're so easy to use and the crimped effect lasts all day without the need for any hair sprays etc. Easy way to create quick but fun hairstyles for children, and yourself (obviously I had to try them too).The product itself looks nice with the purple and black contrast and appears to be good quality. Only slight downfall is the temperature adjustment wheel isn't so clear due to its position. All in all a great buy!

so powerful I section my hair in levels and use it the heat is amazing it gives you crisp tight crimp results and my hair stay beautifully thick even till 4th day and with this crimper I noticed I don't get greasy hair USUALY my hair get greasy straight after 2nd day the crimped hair USUALY look natural 2nd day if u want natural lose look but if u want thick huge look crimp it the same day.cheap and so amazing you don't need expensive to work magic this is too good hair stay so healthy looking

I bought this for an eighties party so didn't want to spend a fortune. The crimper did make our hair go a bit frizzy (as in look a bit dried out) but that may be just what crimpers do! But it crimped, so over all, good value for the price. One thing though, I had reserved it online, but when I came to pay for it at the store I was charged about £3 more than I had reserved it for. To be fair, the shop were quick to resolve it, but I guess it's just something to be aware of and look out for.

I found this product amazing with a cheap affordable cost. The service when I got in the shop was amazing as there was a person traning, she didn't get stressed out when she got some thing wrong .Once my order had been processed she said sorry, which is not comman. I was then waited for my order and it had been five mins and one of the staff was asking for it to work quicker as he could see I have been waiting for a while. It was one of the best services I have ever had. Thank you.

This is the second hair crimper I’ve bought in this make and model! Bought first one many years ago and had lasted well! Bought to crimp my daughters hair for parties and special occasion! Cheapest price I’ve seen and does the job without hanging around for crimper to heat up! Crimps thinner hair easier,my daughter has thick hair so have to section it into smaller pieces to crimp but does the same job! Lots of compliments from friends and I’ve always recommend this crimper!

Got these crimpers to add some volume and texture to my boring straight hair, hold it on between 5-10 seconds per section easy peasy to use. Takes me about 20 minutes to do my full head and my hair is medium length. Really good for the price. Crimping hair isn't really in style at the moment but even just crimping my hair and then putting it in a lose bun gives me a really nice textured messy bun and keeps all my stray baby hairs together. It also makes my hair look less greasy.

Bought this to use professional. Does crimp the hair brilliantly. Cable not that long for me but if using at a dressing table and near a plug socket ideal. Do think it works better on long thick hair. My only fault with it is the numbers on the temperature dial are purple on black and very hard to read had to use my torch on my phone to read it. Overall it’s doing the job only bought it as wanted to try a crimper for a particular style before I bought a more expensive one.

This product is easy to handle and simple to use. It is compact and just the right size. The only problem for me was that I couldn't see the temperature setting very well as the numbers are placed on the inside edge of the crimpers but with a little help from my torch I was able to set it on the right temperature.They leave my hair beautifully soft and give a nice wave to the hair and a full bodied look.I'm really pleased with them and it was so quick and easy to purchase.
