I brought these as a present for my wife. She used to use hair straighteners until a few years ago she suffered a stroke at the age of 29 which left her partially sighted and with slight co-ordination issues, not a good combination when using traditional straighteners. I had come across the brushes with the built in hair dryer which helped to some extent but never gave that quality finish. The GHD Glide has helped my wife gain her independence back (I was tasked with hair striaghtening duties up until these arrived). They have a solid quality feel to them, I think because they are shaped like a brush the perception is they are heavy but I would say they feel balanced.

Decided to treat myself to the glide brush. I have thick hair that goes crazy frizzy at the first sign of humidity, I use my ghd straightwners every time I wash imy hair and I love them but was tempted by this brush, thought it was a bit expensive when I already have straighteners but reasoned with myself that if it lasts as long as my straighteners (10 years and still working like new)) it’s only 12.50 a year. You really do get what you pay for with hair styling tools and this brush delivers. I haven’t used my straighteners since!... I love that you can straighten much larger sections of hair and still get a glossy smooth result that lasts. I found the brush easy to use,

I am not good with straighteners so this was a god sent! The ghd glide is easy to use and makes my hair smooth and shiny with just a few brush strokes.I have fine and limp hair, so I brush from inside out, making a slight curve nearing the ends of my hair to create some volume.Some things to note, the button tends to come in the way when holding the brush, but unless you click on it for a long while, it shouldn't affect the usage. Though I've seen some videos where you are able to make huge c-curls at the ends of the hair, I still can't seem to do it yet. There were occasions when my hand came into contact with the heated part of the brush when I tried to curl the ends of my hair.

I was a little apprehensive with this product, I have quite frizzy hair which only GHD straighteners can take away and keep away throughout a humid day, but I used the glide brush for the first time and was delightfully surprised by how good it was. I sectioned my hair (not as much as I would if I was straightening) due to the frizzy-ness I wanted to make sure I captured all of my hair, and it was as easy as brushing my hair, the glide brush took all of the frizz away and I was ready to start the day so much quicker than normal. I will be using this so much more often, especially with a toddler running around, this brush has made my life and my schedule so much more easy and doable!

My hairdresser recommended me this product. My hair is slightly wavy and very frizzy and with a lot of volume. I have a lot of thick hair so I used to take a long time straightening it with the straighteners, hence most of the time I wore it up on a ponytail because I didn't have time to straighten it.With the GHD glide I am done in less than 10 minutes, with practice I am learning to give my hair a bit of shape. It is super easy to use. It works better the day after I washed it (once my hair is completely dry) I tried it once straight after hairdrying and didn't work well at all. I am very happy I bought it!I would only recommend this if you are like me - struggling to use straighteners because of time (large amount of hair!).

I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube before buying these, all were really positive, people were really wowed by the brush. They were right!I bought this as I have a natural curl which can only be tamed by GHD straighteners, and my daughter has inherited that but also has very long, thick hair and struggles to use the straighteners.The brush is so easy, quick and effective for my daughter to use. The effect is fantastic! Really straight hair! She can easy manage to straighten her hair and it doesn’t take long at all.For me, I am equally happy with the brush. My hair is just over shoulder length. The brush gives it a much more natural straighten, than the straighteners.

I deliberated for weeks before purchasing this as I have naturally wavy hair which turns frizzy at the hint of moisture. The first thing I would say is that it is not a GHD, nor is it a replacement for a GHD - but it does not claim to be. What it is, is a fantastic addition to a GHD. My hair takes hours to blow dry properly. With the hot brush, I can dry my hair quickly, use the hot brush to tame it and then use my GHDs to refine key sections. I am surprised at reviews which state that they no longer need to use their GHDs; however, I have been able to reduce the use of my GHDs and my hair is much shinier as a result. Yes, it's heavy - but it needs to be to do the job. Would I recommend it?

My husband bought me the brush after I saw the pre sale advert. I have the ghd straighteners and use them every day. He had no objection to paying the price as I have had my straighteners 10 years and still going strong so good value for money. My hair style is a short bob which sits on my neck, had it been any shorter then in my opinion the brush wouldn’t be any good because of the size of it. Nobody had mentioned this in the reviews so I feel it’s a must from myself. It would be perfect on mid to long hair but not short or fine hair. I’m still practicing with it and have to keep remembering no to touch the bristle part as it get very hot. Ouch.What I would like to see ghd make is a medium size round brush..

I have both the GHD flat iron and curler. I was hesitant on the electronic brush, especially as I heard mixed reviews. After using it for three weeks I decide to keep it and will recommend it. First, this one has low temperature than flat iron and helps hair being healthy. No matter how much heat spray I out on, if I use flat iron everyday, I can immediately feel the damage to my hair. But the hair brush has much lower temperature so I feel I can use it every day and my hair actually looks better with good shine (and I get a lot of complement). Also, when I use flat iron, I cannot create good volume and wave easily, partially as I am not very skilled. With the brush it is much easier.

I love my new glide brush. Originally I had basic straighteners which were amazing but I was worried about them not having an automatic turn off so after around 12 years I bought the new whites ones which automatically turn off after around half an hour, I believe. Well, I have not used my straighteners since I bought the glide brush. I probably shouldn’t but I use them everyday. They make me feel like I’ve had my hair professionally done, like when you come out the hairdressers. I cannot recommend these enough. They are great. The difference I find between these and my straighteners is the ends of my hair don’t go ‘poker’ straight which I quite like. If I want my hair straight,

I wouldn't say it's for hair styling but it is excellent to get rid of frizz. The product tames my hair nicely. I've only used a few times, I'm still finding my way with the brush; still early days.I put it on, by the time I get changed into my clothes it's ready to use, so it takes longer than straighteners. I like the fact that it's one heat setting. Simply split and brush your hair slower than normal. It doesn't straighten like a straightener but it makes my hair look lovely and gives volume - that rested blow dry look. Also love the auto switch off feature!Would I pay the amount I did? I'm not so sure. But it's a good product for my thick hair so I'm keeping it.Would I recommend it?

After reading some negative reviews I was reluctant to purchase but in the end I am so glad I did. Firstly if you want poker straight hair stick to your straighters. It took a few times to work out the best way to use the glide but it's well worth the effort. I have very long thick blonde hair it's naturally frizzy and wavy. I section my hair, you can section larger amounts with the glide. I take section from underneath keeping the section in my other hand until I reach the end, and that's it. It gives you more natural volume straight hair. I doubt I'll use my ghd straightener much anymore. Give this glide a go practice and find the best way to do your hair, we are all different after all.

I have almost shoulder length fine straight hair and have been using GHD straighteners for a number of years now I’m really happy with this new brush it straightened my hair without the extra heat that my GHD straighteners seemed to use and my hair feels soft after straightening straighteners always made my hair almost too hot to touch I often got a heat burn/wedge in my hair while styling and the extra heat always seemed to make my hair “smoke” in places with this new GHD glide I have none of this it heats up quickly is quite easy to hold on too and isn’t really that heavy overall I rate this product and have recommended it to family my only complaint would be for that the price I have paid

It took some getting used too, I almost gave up on it after first use as it’s very heavy & I kept burning my fingers. On the plus side I’ve not used my straighteners for over a week now as the Glide does what is says & it’s a lot more hair friendly I feel. Not sure if the shape is ideal, maybe a bit more of a rounded brush head would have been easier to man handle. Also make sure you have some tension, even if you use your hands to pull hair down as this is the key to straightening it along with practise! Also wish it had the beeping to indicate on/off/hot.... as do my other GHD’s. It’s a quality product there is no doubt, but not straight forward either.

I had an amazing first experience with Ghd glide hot brush. My afro 4c hair was straightened almost immediately taking the brush through it (1-2 iterations per section). I used the brush on damp hair so it was quite steamy. It wasn't only until later that I read that it's for day 2 hair (which means hair should actually be dry). I'm yet to try this, so hopefully it works as well when my hair is dry. Few concerns are that the brush is difficult to clean, and the fact that when I use the brush on my damp hair, steams come out of the brush. As a black person with afro 4c hair, our hair needs moisture. Otherwise,
