Cut through thick grass at knee height, just under a metre, Had to go over a couple of times due the thickness. Frequent emptying of bucket (20 times!). Easy to empty bucket. You can see the grass being hoovered up at the back of the lawnmower (feet side) which is a good indicator of when the bucket is full as there is no viewing window, alternatively the lawnmower becomes harder to push when full. Lightweight and easily transportable does not take up much space.Plastic spanner provided with spacers to adjust height (simple for a first timer), Three in total. One spacer is attached to start, more spacers = lower cutting height - I used no spacers. Safety start and stop with centre push button.

Hi there to all of you just like to say about this Flymo easy start lawn mower I bought what it on the 21st of July 2020 is arrived on the 23rd on my sister's birthday she has used it a day later today day.and she said the lawnmower is brilliant it is the best one she ever used very compact glides over the lawn pics all of the grass up lightweight smooth she loves it it even my niece her daughter used it it and could not believe how good it is is highly recommended by my sister and thanks 2 Flymo for making this top rated quality lawn mower she is very pleased and so am I 10 out of 10 Flymo ???❤️it if you are looking for a good Flymo is the name easy start hover with grass box she loves her

Having had to purchase a replacement flymo for my original that i have had for well over twenty years I find like everything you buy nowadays they are not as compact or well made.Having said that it does mow fine and is a lot quieter than my old one. (motor bearings shot). It does fold down but it does take up twice as much room as my old model.It collects grass OK and moves over the grass with relative ease.I would purchase again hopefully not for another twenty years.All in all a nice machine. the only reason for 4 stars is that it is not a compact compact machine.

My mum had one of these many years ago and I always use to borrow it. Was so good to see that it is still on the market. I have no idea what people are talking about it blows out grass everywhere. I previously never had a problem and there still isn't a problem with that. It fills up quickly if your mowing a large garden like I have and yes that is when it will start to blow grass out cos it's got nowhere else to go. My clothes and shoes didn't have grass on them and my paths were clear, just the weeds to kill that is all hahaha!

Bought this 2 weeks ago after having to send the previous Flymo back as it fell apart (different model). What a delight on opening the box, took the mower out and all I had to do as place the handle in the upright position and we were good to do, all ready assembled. Used it now 5 times and is cut beautiful and has an adjustment spanner with it so you can alter the height of your cutting, Brilliant item and so easy to push (especially as I have arthritis in my fingers). A delight to use.

This is my second of the same type - the previous one lasted 9 years but the starter motor died. Easy/lightweight feel to use and a nice short cut. I have a large and uneven lawn - this is so much easier to use than a petrol or non air cushion mower due to the unevenness of my lawn. I do have to empty it quite often but I’m using it for a much larger lawn than than it’s probably aimed at and I just view it as extra exercise! This was a ‘gold’ grade and basically as good as new.

Can't give a 5 star as it does blow grass everywhere so I need to sweep but I'd say its still well worth it as it's so easy to use including the weight being low.It doesn't compact the grass so if it's long it needs emptied many times but it's so quick and easy to do so, if your bin is at hand, that's no bother.Good for a small lawn - the cable is only 10M.Handle folds easy and cable stores easy in the grass box and I can pick it up with one hand, even with muscle damage.

The Flymo easy glide is still the hover mower, the reason it only got 4 stars is because the lead is now permanately connected to the mower BUT doesn't have a storage position on the metal handle. Other versions I have seen have this facility, all I can do is wind the cable up and leave it in the grass bin. It doesn't always stay in when hanging it up in the shed! Still an easy mower for small to medium gardens!

This baby cuts the grass, fills up the little basket, which you empty, and it fills it up again. As lawnmowers go (providing you don't want fancy stripes or a bowling green) it's a lawn mower. Suitable for small gardens. The bright orange cable makes it easy to see in the grass so you don't run over it. No-one told my wife that. I would recommend an RCD adaptor for the plug to go in. So would the wife

This does exactly what it says on the box. Cuts the grass beautifully and effortlessly it is easily adjustable for the height of cutting your require comes with the special tool to do it with its easy to use and lightweight. The only criticism is the way the lid opens when storing it any grass left in it goes everywhere but doesn't hinder its use. Would recommend it and a great price

I already have a petrol mower but was finding it difficult to start because of my shoulder. Bought the Flymo because I've had one in the past and they are lightweight and easy to use. This one is fab. Its not really designed for a largish garden like mine because you have to keep emptying the grass box frequently but that's a small price to pay. Highly recommend this mower.

This is a great lawnmower, a good sized grass box means fewer times spent emptying and very light when in use it has halved the time spent cutting the grass .The metal blade is good .The fold down handle is great for storage,with a nice long cable to save using lots of electric extensions . it makes cutting the grass an easy job now.I'm very pleased i bought this model

It glides beautifully across the lawn, compared to my old Flymo 330. I liked the plug in lead on the old one compared to the fixed lead on this one, but it doesn't detract from it being a lovely little lawnmower. I didn't know until I opened the box, but Flymo are owned by the scandinavian stalwart Husqvana and they make quality tools, especially chainsaws.

I have never mowed a lawn in my life. This worked well for me. Easy to handle. It doesn’t leave those pretty lawn lines so if you are as crappy as I am with moving in a straight line, it hides the flaws. My lawn is very clumpy and all over the place. I’m really pleased with the lawn mower. I find the bin fills up really quick. I’m a 30 year old female.

Nice and simple to use mower that cuts grass right out of the box, no assembly at all. It is my 3rd Flymo and I guess they are synonymous with entry level easy to use electric mowers for a reason.It doesn't feel as well put together as my last Flymo but when you are paying under a hundred you have to accept that you do get what you pay for.
