This is an excellent brush. I bought it to replace a similar but cheaper one that I had had sometime. This Denman brush is much better quality than the one I had and I believe it produces better results. This said I do have to put in a bit of effort to get my hair smooth and straight. I’ve got below shoulder length curly thick hair. After washing I seperate out three sections each side of my head. With a blow dry creme product applied I dry each section with a god anti frizz hairdryer, using the Denman brush as a clamp and on a hot setting it does produce a smooth flat section each time. This brush is good if like me you lack the skills a professional hairdresser has when they curl the hair around a round bristled brush to obtain the same result.

After hearing mixed reviews about the idea of using a straightening brush, I went ahead and decided to get one so I could make my own decision. I chose this brush because of the bristles and the price. My hair is very thick and naturally wavy and so straightening it is very difficult and almost never comes out as straight as I would like and I still have curly bits of hair near my roots. I used this brush with a hairdryer and the outcome was amazing! I had used a round brush with the hairdryer before but found that impossible to use however, the straightening brush for me is so much easier to control and makes my hair so much straighter while drying it with a hairdryer.

Im new to hair straightening. I have naturaly curly hair, which ive worn curly for 20 years. So after my new haircut and armed with my GHD's i had a go. I hadnt realised just how important it is with curly hair to pull it straight whilst drying it. Then i found this brush.... Its fantastic, grips my hair and holds it taught while i blow dry it. I found it very easy to get used to using it , in fact i find it easier than the straighteners. Its reduced the time to dry my hair, reduced friz and lies the hair nice and flat ready for the straighteners. Perfect! It doesnt close but thats nothing a bobble cant fix

This is the best product I have ever come across for straightening my hair.I have a lot of thick curly hair and as long as I dry it in small sections, the result is lovely. I am amazed how soft my hair is with this 'brush'. It's a lot less flyway than when I dried my hair first and straightened it afterwards.I could never get the hang of drying with a brush, like they do in the salon, but this gives the same results but is easier to use.I don't find drying my hair any quicker with this brush, but the results are a lot better.At this price you can't go wrong!

A really good way to blowdry my frizzy curly hair that looks nice. I sectioned of my hair into four parts with hairgrips and then afterwards I added some hair serum. It takes patience and time really to enjoy this hair brush. But overall it is very good. Its not perfectly straight, but that is okay as I prefer the wavy straight look. Maybe next time I want the straight look I would take more time with it.

You can dry your hair straight or just use to comb through thoroughly. This brush is great, I've had some comments at the gym changing rooms where I use it from others saying they will get one too. The ceramic plates heat up as you dry, so they act as a mini straightener. The bristles are gentle and so don't break your hair. The straightener-esque nature of this brush is fantastic. Well worth the money.

Very helpful when straightening ! I used to use a standard brush but now I have this I can't be without it ! It smoothies down the hair much better than a standard brush while straightening. Amazing !! If you have curly unruly hair like me you will really appreciate the wonders of having this in your life ! Saves time when straightening and you get a million times better end result !

Brilliant product only missed out its final star because when I used it the first few times there were quite a few bristles that feel out, however it seems to be OK now. Would recommend anyone to buy this who straighten their hair. After using it to dry my hair it needed very little time with the straighteners and my hair is very thick.

Really like this brush. My hair is fine and tends towards frizzy. I’ve always used a tension comb but find this even better. De man products always seem to be good quantity and reasonably priced. Plus I’m not the greatest at Hair styling so anything that helps is fine by me. Hope you like this product as much as me.

Was quite tricky to use first time as I was almost burning my hands from the hairdryer. I am getting better at it but at present still need to use the straighteners to get a perfect finish. I would say with more practice I wont have to use the straighteners. On the whole I am pleased with the effect the brush gives.

really brilliant brush I brought 2 so my sister could have one and not nick mine !have long hair and it is a lot kinder to hair than electric straighteners and works very goodespecially on fringes if you want to tie hair back.and easy to use and clean.arrived within 2 days good price and well worth buying.

This hairbrush is very good for blow drying my hair straight. I purchased this hairbrush to replace a previous one which was exactly the same and lasted me eight years, having tried different makes before only to find they broke after a short time of use, I had no hesitation to purchase the Denman again. Excellent I love it. So easy to use. I am not the best at blow drying my own hair as it is quite long. Brush made it easier and I get good result with straight hair. Good alternative to using a straightener. Denman good brand too have other brushes by them already which I have had to years.

Spent years straightening my hair which caused major damage. I love this brush- it doesn't dead straighten but works very well and is so much gentler on my hair :) Quite difficult to use without getting your hand very hot though but easy to get a good grip on the hair. Would recommend!

I cannot belive how quick this arrived i ordered this brush very late Tuesday evening and it arrived approx 8am the next day. I have used the brush when my hair is dry and I can so how straight it makes it I will review again once I washed my hair. Excellent postal service.
