I have a GHD hair straightener and wanted a similar tool for curling i.e. ceramic so it wouldn't damage my hair too much. I think this curling iron is an excellent curling equivalent of the GHD straightener (and at a fraction of the price!). It doesn't pull or snag your hair and gives a shiny look to the curls. The heat control is very useful if you don't want to apply too much heat or if you have fine hair. The iron heats up quickly and has a light to indicate when it is at the right temperature. One slight issue I had the first couple of times is that it is very easy to turn the iron off when curling without noticing. As long as you are aware of the switch it is easy enough to avoid however.

The Babyliss dial a heat 32mm tong is an excellent investment. I have long thick hair and these tongs are perfect for creating those loose sexy curls that are all the rage right now. The tongs heat up pretty fast and have plenty of heat settings. I use the hottest setting but, be careful, they get VERY hot.For the best results and long lasting curls use lots of mousse after washing your hair. Once your hair is completely dry, section your hair, curl and spray with hair spray. The curls drop slightly after a few hours but not too much and they look even better.These tongs also work well on hair extensions. Well worth the money!

This is a great product but it depends on what hairstyle you want. I have thin long hair and I wanted big glamorous waves. The reviews on the babyliss 38mm said the curls don't curl or don't hold so I bought the 32mm. Even though the waves were pretty they were not big enough. I actually decided that if the 32mm was so pretty imagine the 38mm so I bought a 38mm. It definitely gave me the big glamorous waves I wanted. So if you aren't sure between a 32mm or a 38mm I'd go for the 38mm if it's the big Khloe Kardashian waves you want. The 32mm is pretty but not head turning, the 38mm will definitely turn heads.

TIP: To keep the curls in and to avoid those kinks, i tend to use it like a Curling wand and i wrap the hair around the barrels instead . If you have Real Hair extensions like i do, curl each strand at 40 seconds each time. If you have your own hair i recommend 25 seconds. If you have afro Hair i would say 45 seconds.Heat protectant is vital, try not to use oils in your hair before curling as it will burn the hair

Heats up very quickly (like within a minute to high heat), lots of heat setting and a guide to which is best for your hair type. Works well and creates very nice curls on my medium length hair. The only issue is that it's heavier than my previous curler tongs but it probably can't be helped with such a large ceramic barrel.They appear well made and of good quality.

These curling tongs are great ..i orginially bought a pair of 32mm ones but seller sent me 24mm ones ..i have broken my foot so i told seller couldnt return them could he pick them up when he sends me the correct size i ordered but he let me have the 24 mm curlers and refunded mectge money so i could reorder the 32mm ones i got them and they are brilliant

I was so disappointed when I received this because of how short the barrel appears. I was thinking there is no way this works for anyone with long hair. However, after experimenting for a bit, it makes the softest most perfect wavy curls! It isn't for tight curls or spirals, but makes nice soft waves. I added a picture with a chap stick to scale.

Bought these for daughter following recommendation, seem to be better than previous tongs she has used, just have to make sure you get the right size tongs depending on hair type/length and the style you want, very pleased with the service recieved, item was delivered quickly and exactly as described, would not hesitate in using again.

SO good-I have a wand and the 19mm babyliss tong. I find the wand annoying as my long hair just slides off the end. This is amazing for big loose curls and after holding them in curling pins, they stayed all night. I would definitely recommend! I used this for my wedding and have complete faith in it for other occassions.

I love these curlers, they're definitely my favourite size as you can either make real curls or sexy waves!They also don't burn my hair like many others I've used before and feel really professional and are easy to use. The curls stay in all day and the unit heats up really fast.Love, love, love!!

Great barrel size for more natural sexy wavy or curly hair and so easy to use with the swivel cord and snapper! I've tried hair straighteners, the wand and smaller tongs for curling but this is easily the best I've got!DO IT! :-))

Arrived quickly, great tongs, good grip of hair so even fine hair stays in, heat up quickly, easy to use, on/off button in good place so you don't accidently turn them off mid curl. Would definitely recommend.

still working out how to use them but as long as they're hot enough and you have day-old hair they work pretty well even on shoulder length hair. you need a lot of hair spray

My hairdresser uses this item in her salon, I find it easy to use and when set on the highest setting it takes no time to give lasting curls to my hair.
