I was recently looking for a hairdryer to buy and not knowing much about different types of brands and styles of hairdryers I was buying mostly based on good reviews and I haven't been disappointed!-As stated in other reviews yes this hairdryer is heavier than other hairdryers I've had in the past but once you've used it a couple of times you completely forget the weight of the product and I haven't had a problem with it.-My hair is very thick and quite long and usually it would take me around 20 minutes or so to dry my hair but with this hairdryer it can take me less than 10! (Which in my case is a miracle.)-The nozzle is at a perfect size to style hair and the blast of air from the hairdryer

I bought this for my wife after her old and cheap Vidal Sassoon hairdryer started making a nasty burning smell and then ground to a halt. Having done a bit of reading up about hairdryers it seems that AC is the way to go as the motors are more powerful and longer lasting. The nice thing about this dryer and having read some of the other reviews is that it is quite a light model as some AC dryers can be quite heavy - my wife has a lot of blonde hair and it takes some time to dry the whole lot. I wanted to avoid her complaining about the weight and so went into a local Boots store to see how heavy this model was before buying it on Amazon.

I needed to replace my hairdryer as after 4 years it had given up, I used to have a Babyliss Elegance 2100W hairdryer. BaByliss 2100 Elegance HairdryerThis hairdryer gives off three various heat settings that I love because my old hairdryer was too hot for me, this one is much cooler but still provides a strong heat when needed.It a lot more powerful than my old hairdryer, which is perfect for my thick hair!I know in a lot of the reviews people said it was heavy, but to me heavy is a sign of a good quality hair dryer as it provides more power and well its not just cheap plastic. Personally I don't find it heavy at all,

This is a brilliant hairdryer! It's not a lightweight dryer, but it's not too heavy either, it just feels substantial and well made. It's attractive, sits nicely in your hand and all the controls are easily accessible. It's very powerful and dries my fine hair incredibly quickly. If you have thick hair then this would be the perfect dryer for you! It's excellent for long hair as the longer nozzle means your hair is kept well away from the motor. The long cable is great too, as you can stand back from your mirror and move freely while drying. I've actually owned the same dryer for a couple of years and it's still going strong, but purchased this one recently for my daughter as she has admired my one so much.

After owning my babyliss hair dryer for 10+years I decided to trade it in and treat myself to a new one.The wire is a good size (you don't need to be sat on top of a plug socket to use it!)It isn't the lightest hair dryer in the world but because of the power it has I don't actually have to hold it for long.. I have thick long hair and it doesn't take long to have it dried at all. There cool blast is an added bonus. I'm more than happy with my purchase. I have to admit I'm not a blow dry try of girl I just dry my hair the quickest way I can so I can't comment on using the hair dryer for styling and blow drying. I'd 100% recommend this.

I have this hair dryer a few months now and it's great! My hair is fine and straight. It gives a lovely shine to my hair and it's great with creating volume. Nozzle gives good styling control. The length of the cord is great! Love the different heat and speed settings. The only thing I will say is that when I'm handling it, sometimes my thumb may knock it off at the power button because of where it is situated. But then, where else would the buttons go? Some folk have mentioned nozzle/back cover falling off easily - I've not experienced that, it's built very well. Great value for money!

My travel hairdryer that I have had for over 20 years was finally wrecked by the children. I was so pleased to choose a new hairdryer and this one has just transformed my hairdrying! It doesn't make it dry and frizzy and takes minutes rather 10s of minutes to get the look I want (and I have no patience with time and hair drying). Only word of warning: I did use it the first time to volumise my hair: wow - it does volumise it.... I wont be doing that again.All in all a really good product and the temperature adjustments and power adjuestments work birlliantly for me.

Nice hairdryer, comfortable to hold, easy to use and several settings. Good length of cable supplied so you don't have to sit on top of a socket. Fairly quiet in operation as well.Although 2200W, its top heat setting doesn't seem that hot. Maybe that's a good thing for your hair.Overall a worthwhile purchase.The only downside to the order was the slow delivery, taking a week.This is by far the worst I've experienced ordering anything with Amazon. Usually most things I order arrive in 2 days at most, even with super saver delivery.

When I first got this through in the post I was a little concerned that it was heavier than my old one but you do get used to it.Its a powerful little piece of kit and has my hair dry in just a few minutes. The precision nozzle is great and means I don't have to have the dryer as hot as I used to in order to get the style I want and its great if you have a bit of a curly fringe that you want straightened!I'm glad I read the good reviews and went with this one. All in very pleased and the price was a bonus too!

Really pleased with my new purchase! I bought this make as I had the previous version from Babyliss (slightly less powerful and not ionic) which had served me well for several years so I knew they were well-made and lasted. This is a great replacement and definitely a step-up - slightly lighter, more powerful and, although skeptical about the 'ionic' claims, I must say that it does leave my hair really soft and smooth, more so than my previous model. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this hair dryer after my old one stop working. I was impressed by the good reviews and I have to say I like it very much. It has lots of power so it dries your hair quickly. I haven't had the need to put it in the higher setting and still dries my hair effectively and quickly. It is not too noisy and I like that the cord is very long. some review said it was very heavy but I don't find it particularly heavy in comparison to other hair dryers. Overall a good buy.

My boyfriend just bought this for me and I love it. Haven't really got anything bad to say about it at all. It is quite heavy but I like the weight of it and it's not heavy enough to hurt my arms. Definitely dries my hair quicker than my previous dryer and my hair is much smoother and less dried out after using. I do still need to straighten it a little bit on the top layers but that's just because my hair's mental! Overall excellent product for the price.

Great hairdryer for the price. Dries hair quickly without causing frizz and allows easy styling. I owned a previous model for about 7 years. When that broke (after 7 years of using everyday) I bought a different, more expensive dryer of another brand. I returned it straight away though and bought this model again as the more expensive dryer wasn't powerful enough (even though the wattage was higher) and took ages to dry my hair.

Wife needed it, bought it for her and she seems to be happy with it... Three heat settings, two fan settings, powerful fan but a little bit on the heavy side.But thats not the reason why I gave it a five stars! Its a mighty little device and when the wife is not using it or I'm bored, I use it to blow the dust off my gadgets, dry my clothes/shoes, pose it as a ray gun and see the cat freak out! I'm now banned from touching it.

Bought my wife a Remington dryer for Christmas, but this kept cutting out. After checking the reviews on Amazon, I went for this one to replace it with. It was a good choice - my wife loves this dryer. She says it's probably the best dryer she's owned. Some reviews say its on the heavy side, but my wife has never mentioned it as being an issue. Professional quality at high street price. I can't recommend this enough.
