They say:- Face and Paw Scissors- For a well groomed finish to your dogs coat- Size 9.5 cm- Material - metal with plastic coated handlesVerdict:A great pair of scissors to have in any grooming toolkit and a must have for our Pug/Shih Tzu cross puppy, Dexter. They are comfortable and easy and steady when in the hand, which is a must when going near the face. They feature rounded tips but this by no means is a complete safeguard – you must feel confident when using these; if you don’t, your groomer should be happy to show you. After all, it makes their job easier when you’re taking your dog in, but most of all, it is an important part of their grooming needs.Dexter needs the hair about his eyes trimmed regularly and getting him accustomed to this when young is a lifesaver. We also clip the fur between his paw pads to get him used to his feet being fiddled with (a lot of dogs are very touchy about their paws) and it makes it easier to examine his paws for any problems.Good price, so replacing them if necessary won’t be a problem.

The scissors are very well made and I can see the item is of good wuality. The ends are beautifully designed with a gentle curve , which means there will never be any sharp stabbing into doggies eyes or paws whilst trimming unruly fur. I have now used them several times so can now review with confidence. They work extremely well. I also noticed that my confidence whilst using them has increased with each time i have used them. I think it is because I know 100 percent that the scissors will not harm my very lively long haired puppy. Charlie (my puppy) is also resigned to my using the scissors , which means that he not frightened of any dangerous sharp little stabs.. you can buy with confidence.PS . The scissors are just right for my size 7 ladies hand and fingers - you may need to be more aware of the snipping if you have larger hands /fingers.

My Shih Zuh HATES having a haircut. Absolutely hates it. He is the most chilled out dog but bares his teeth and snaps my partner (whos dog it is) whenever he comes near with scissors or clippers.. even a comb. I think my partner must have been unknowingly rough cutting matts out maybe?Anyway.. I trim him with no problems - i comb him with no problems however he still very much dislikes his nads (boy bits) and around his face being trimmed.. (understandably)He seems to be absolutely fine with these scissors.. I dont know if its because they are smaller than conventional scissors or if its the rounded tips (he isnt a clever dog so i doubt its that)anyway he even lets my partner cut the hair around his nads without even baring his teeth.I would reccomend this product to anyone who needs to trim a dog in its hard to cut areas!

I purchased these pet scissors for my 2 dogs who both get quite heavy fur growth under their paws, between the pads. I have only ever used small normal scissors before but to use these specifically designed scissors has made the job so much easier. Both the dogs are not keen on a manicure and can be a bit jumpy, however using these bull nosed scissors was safe and got the job done better than with the other scissors I have used. These are sharp all the way to the end by the bull nose tip and do a great job.Can thoroughly recommend and "Amber" amd "Maisy" said yes, it was all ok!

These blunt ended scissors are great for clilpping close into my dogs ears and eyes. I wouldn't be without them. The only downside is that I find they slacken off very quickly and don't just do the job to perfection. I usually buy a couple of pairs at a time. My wee dogs have tear stains on the hair around their eyes and sometimes in their ears, and in order to keep their eyes and ears clean and fresh, so far, this is the only scissors that I can recommend to do the job safely and properly, without any upset to my dogs.

I like these as they are round tipped for the safety factor, which I why I chose them, but also small but strong enough to cut around my dogs 'face furniture' so he can be tidied up as needed. Around the ears and feet too, I don't worry about nicking him, as I did when using normal hair dressing scissors. My dog is a rough coat, so if they work on his fur they should be good for normal soft fur. They are small so if you have a St Bernard just expect to take time.. but they are safe and that's the main thing.

I Needed these for my tea cup yorkie who is about to have his spring summer clip and also around the botty area , wheich does need a regular trim , I am very nervous about using anything but round edge scissors so these are perfect when a pair of "real baby" nail scissors broke in two ..Arrived in good time and has gone in the doggy grooming compartment of a nice box i have for his grooming needs , just wating for some other bits and pieces i ordered for him to use them but i can see they are fine .

These are smaller than I was expecting (just my assumption and not the fault of the seller), but I guess if you look at the picture then you can tell this. They are comfortable to hold and seem decent quality. Would be good for trimming small areas (i.e. eyebrows on my Miniature Schnauzer. But not real use for larger areas as it would take too long. As such they're a good tool for the job they're meant for, but if you're wanting something to trim your dog all over then you'll need something bigger.

Excellent blunt-nosed scissors with nice comfortable handles. Did the job of trimming my labradoodle's beard and around the eye area perfectly. Good and sharp, so they cut without pulling, blunt ends for safety and a comfortable grip so my hand didn't ache or cramp up. Can't get too excited - they are, after all, just a pair of scissors - however they did exactly what they were meant to do. Can find no fault with them. Highly recommended.

I bought this item to help with my first full home groom on my dog. It arrived quickly and I was happy to see it was well packaged. The scissors is easy to hold and grip onto, despite being small. I found the scissors to be very effective in cutting my dogs fur. My dog is timid and is usually afraid of scissors being too close to his face but this did the trick! My dog also has a thick coat and this cut through it without difficulty.

This is a must have for those squirmy little puppers. My dog is quite good with getting the hair around his eyes and paws cut but I do stress when using scissors in case I catch his skin. These have a lovely round tip that makes it so much easier to cut a round the eyes. They are very small scissors which means you have more control should your pup decide to wiggle. These are my go to scissors for cutting burrs out.

AAA+++ great goods easy transaction, seven-day delivery...we have a Shih Tzu and we're in lockdown...we usually get him clipped by a pro, but that's not happening right now, we have dog clippers but you can't use those for his face...a tiny bit of cheese keeps him still and gentle snip snip does the job... I would put a pic however, he might not have an overgrown coat any more but he wouldn't win Crufts ok...

I have two small dogs who need regular grooming and found it difficult to keep the hair round their eyes and paws short. These scissors do the job wonderfully and with the round ends there is no possibility of jabbing the dogs. they are also good for areas that get very dirty on small dogs so it helps hygiene as well. The only down side is the size of the handles I tend to get my fingers stuck in them!

Lovely scissors, we have a Cyprus Poodle who has really hairy feet! and these scissors are the best size for getting in between her paws easily. I've used on her face and again with the size I don't feel as if I am going to poke her in the eye whilst trying to tidy her face. They are sharp but have a rounded edge which means you don't dig and are very lightweight and comfortable for me to use too.
