I've been trying this out for a few days now. This is an excellent quality trimming kit. First things first - unlike a lot of trimmers on the market, this only takes one hour to fully charge with the mains adaptor which was supplied in the kit. This is an important factor for me as far too many similar products require charging times of up to 15 hours for a full charge! Those similar products are, of course, a lot less money than this item so I guess its up to the buyer to judge the trade-off of faster charge time verses cost. So far, after several uses, I haven't needed to recharge and I've used it on my head hair as well as beard. It also comes with a handy carry case, a stand,a multitude of head guards for different trimming lengths, a small bottle of oil to keep the blades working smoothly, a small cleaning brush and a small comb. Speaking of the guards - there are enough sizes here to suit all types of lengths and there also two different comb structures although I'm unsure why as its not explained in the pocket manual which comes supplied with the item. Perhaps one type is for getting through very thick hair growth to then work down to the same length guard using a finer comb? The guards simply clip on and off and are clearly marked in metric and imperial sizes. The trimmer itself oozes quality. It feels solid - the body is solid metal - and weighty. Most importantly, the cutting head is what you would expect from Wahl - it cuts through hair growth with ease and precision. Cleaning is a doddle - just clip the self-contained head/blades off, a quick blow (and use of supplied brush if necessary) and clip back on. The manufacture recommends applying oil to blades for each use - that seems a bit excessive to me. All-in-all this is definitely a five star item. Only one negative - I would guess that, if you're like me, you will find the length of head guard which suits your 'look' best, and then you'll be left with a bag full of other guards which you'll rarely/never use - this is one advantage of those other brands of trimmers (such as Philips) which have only one guard which remains attached to the trimmer and is moveable by means of a thumbwheel to select the 'grade' size. But buyer beware - check the charging times/build quality etc before purchase of those cheaper products! This item is definitely built to last. This is an unbiased Vine Voice review where I received the item for a fair and unbiased review.

My boyfriend tested this shaver / trimmer. It comes with an impressive array of accessories which allows for total body grooming from head to toe. There are multiple heads for clippering, so you could actually use it for a full hair cut if you had the skill. My boyfriend uses it for tidying up his facial hair, sideburns, the base of his hairline and tidying up bits round his privates. It's very precise and nimble, cutting tidy edges with ease and allowing for good access to tricky areas such as around the ears. The slimline size makes it nice to hold and move around.Heads are easily and quickly changed just by snapping them off and on. It comes with a handy 2-compartment zipper bag to keep all the accessories together.Ideal if you travel a lot too.The "quick charge" feature is really handy because how often do you forget to charge your shaver and then really need to use it to be presentable RIGHT NOW? Nobody wants to go to a client meeting with a half-faced scruffy beard! The nose and ear hair trimmer is a welcome addition now and for the future! Haha. It's easy enough to use the trimmer but MY GOD you do need to be careful not to nip yourself as I did when trying it out on my nose hair. I took a small chunk out of my septum which slightly bled. It wouldn't put me off using it again but I'd definitely be more careful as I didn't know this could happen. If you've never used a nose or ear hair trimmer before it does tickle immensely!! But it doesn't take long and I'm sure is worth the benefit if it's something you need doing. My boyfriend has used many electric shavers and trimmers over the years, many of which have had annoyances (slow to charge, quick to drain, too bulky etc.) This is certainly top of the pile.

Blimey this thing is an awesome piece of kit!!!! I have tried many makes including the Phillips body shaver, Remington etc etc and all have nipped rather large chunks out of my ball sack. I use my shavers for trimming my gorilla thick greek hair on both my beard and 'gentle' areas. I have a WAHL hair clipper and its amazing so decided to take the plunge on this. First thing i noticed was the solid all metal design, right out the box it feels like £90 worth of kit - often you spend this sort of money and feel ripped off due to the cheap feel....no no not with this bad boy its just a pleasure to hold. Then comes performance, it trims like a Flymo and has many different attachments (haven't tried the nose/ear trimmer yet)but these give you a wide range of trimming options. Then there is the magic attachment which gives you a good shave around the 'Crown Jules'. I have mangled my ball sack on many occasions trying different shavers but finally over the moon this one does the job....it really is the first one I have found in years of trying dozens of models - I was starting to feel paranoid that my balls sack skin was the issue!!. You still need to pull the skin tight but then it works perfectly and buffs down to skin of an apple smooth ! As an experienced body trimmer user I really have gotten to know what I am talking about via trying many different trimmers and having to return then. This is by far the best I have ever found and is a true example of 'you get what you pay for' Its not cheap but for the sake of my manhood is worth every penny to me!!! Happy sack shaving :-)

I love the way this set looks and feels. For a start the attractive blue finish and the high-quality stainless steel make a good impression, but one of the most noticeable features of this device is its weight – it feels good and solid in the hand, and far more substantial than some of the plastic models I’ve used. It consists of a single handle with a powerful motor and lithium battery for fast, efficient charging and operation. A single one-hour charge lasts for ages without losing effectiveness which is just what I need. I like that there’s a 5-year warranty on it too, although to be fair I haven’t had a Wahl device fail on me yet so I doubt I’d ever need to make a claim. The only advice I’d offer is to keep the blades oiled with a drop of oil (there’s a small bottle supplied)as it keeps it working well and also protects the metal. There’s a blue light which comes on whilst charging and a little pink insert which slips into the charging connector to prevent it being turned on accidentally when travelling. I’ve almost lost my insert a couple of times but it is actually a really useful way of making sure your trimmer still have power at the end of a journey. I like that there’s a handy twin compartment pouch supplied to keep the bits and pieces in and a matching steel holder to stand the handle in too. The only downside I’ve found is that it isn’t waterproof in any way so it cannot be rinsed under a tap like some other models. However, I can say that this trimmer and its various attachments work very well; it’s the best multigroomer I’ve used.

Wahl are a brand synonymous with the hairdressing industry, so when I got this trimmer to review, I was already expecting great things. As someone who chooses to keep a short/ stubble look, I have had my share of these ‘stubble’ trimmers from various brands. By far the quality of this product is above all others I’ve tried. The stainless steel body is smooth, comfortable, satisfyingly weighty and just feels quality. Charging is super fast in comparison with a 60 min charge giving up to 240 hrs of run time! Not in use the trimmer can be slotted into the supplied cradle, which again is just a nice, quality touch.Operation wise, it also does a great job. It’s quiet, cuts very well and very comfortable to use.You do get supplied with a mind boggling array of heads for differing beard length. I would have preferred this to have had the adjustable type head seen on other such trimmers, as at least two bags full of guides will never be used having found your preferred length of trim. I appreciate this is to cater for a wider market, but everyone will then have bags of un-used bits of plastic. A rotary style selector would have avoided this.Overall I cannot fault the build or operation of this trimmer, it seems like the best I have tried so far. It may be on the upper price range for this type product, but once in the hand it is easy to see the justification.

I am not one for often spending a lot of money on grooming equipment, and this product is quite far above what I would usually buy for myself.I am thus comparing this to a similar set from a lesser known brand with a price of £25.This shaver is very small and thin, but weighted very heavy towards the shaving end, with an entirely steel construction which has a very high-quality look and feel, especially when paired with the steel curved stand which looks pretty cool.It comes with a massive amount of attachments of varying cutting length, fifteen in total I think, as well as a mini comb and cleaning brush. The cutting speed is much faster than I am used to and thus doesn't snag against your hair if you try to go too fast, and the attachments give me a really accurate selection of lengths to choose from.I generally leave it on charge after I use it, but I ran it to zero and it must have lasted a good few hours worth of cutting and trimming. It does come with a bag for all of the attachments which is handy as there are so many.Really there is nothing wrong with this product, but would I pay full price for this when there are options out there for half the cost or less that are more than adequate for the job? Probably not, but for the market this product is targeting and for the quality of the product, I have to give this a pretty good rating.

This review is for the Wahl beard trimmer. The item arrived promptly and well packaged.Over the years I have had multiple hair trimmers from various brands. Wahl I have always known is a good brand when it come to hair trimmer/clippers as every barber I have been in uses them. This item comes in a very nice box, upon opening the box you see the trimmer. First thing you will notice is the quality. It’s very good! Secondly the number of attachments you get is crazy! There is loads and they range of extremely short (I’d guess grade 0.5 or smaller to pretty long 25mm)The is also a small stand for the trimmer along with a little cleaning brush, comb and lubricant. The battery is awesome! You can do a quick charge and within a minute of charging you get 4 mins power!! Or the full charge which last 4 hours!! That is massive compared to trimmers I have had in the past. Most lasted approx 15 mins continuous use before they died. I assuming this is cause this product comes with a lithium battery(but like my power drill). The cut is very smooth and feels great to use. The blades are washable too.Seriously nice trimmer, can we used anywhere not just face. Would defo recommend. It’s a little pricey compared to other I have had in the past but expecting it to last longer! Only time will tell.

Having previously used a Babyliss beard trimmer, this Wahl product is something of an upgrade, both in quality and price, but isn't quite able to tick all of the boxes to make it a must-buy.It's generally well-made and performs as you would expect. Charging is fast as anything (much better than cheaper trimmers) and it lasts weeks between charges with occasional use. The trimmer itself has a nice feel and is very sturdy. The very, very many included combs are plastic and don't feel as substantial as the trimmer but they work well and haven't let me down yet. It's an interesting design decision though, a couple of previous trimmers I have used have integrated a dial to adjust the distance of the trimming blades from the built-in comb to manage trim length.Having this achieved by attaching different combs works fine but it's a lot of extra stuff to store.Everything is easy to clean and therefore it isn't a chore at all post-use. The charging stand works well and the carry case does its job. Overall, it's a good quality and flexible shaving/trimming system and just about worth the extra money over the budget end of the trimmer market - however, charging time aside, there isn't much here that delivers better performance or flexibility than cheaper alternatives so definitely shop around.

I’ve owned a few multi-groomers over the years and this is without doubt the best I’ve owned. It’s also the most expensive, but I feel that the extra expensive is justified with both the performance and extras supplied with the groomer. The groomer is well built with a good weight, with a powerful motor which gives a massive four hours of use from a single charge. There are four interchangeable cutting heads and twelve combs which offer a wide range of hair lengths – 0.4 – 25mm.There is a small cleaning brush and bottle of oil, both of which should be used to maintain optimum performance. As with any clipper, the oil is necessary as a lubricant to protect the metal. Be aware, that the clipper isn’t waterproof,so shouldn’t be taken into the bath or shower or even rinsed under the tap – use the small brush for cleaning. There’s a five-year warranty included which gives you the confidence that this will last, and a handy soft travel pouch (with two separate sections) with room to keep the clipper and attachments safe. A worthy grooming investment that gives great results.

Be warned, the guard lengths need to be researched before use. My old Philips I used a 5 guard, when I used the T-Bar clipper head on this bad boy with a number 5 ( start high and work down) it didnt touch my hair, so dropped the guard down to 4, same thing, and so on, I got down to a number 2 and finally a slight trim, but not as much as I had hoped, so thought ok, Number 1 it is. All I can say is, thank the big man upstairs that I am furloughed and not in the office, lol!! It will grow back. So you have been warned, research the guards before using. It is very powerful, it made short work of my hair and made it very short in the process,It charged up in approx 2 hours.Clip Heads are easy to swap and the guards clip on and off with ease.I would recommend to anyone looking for a good all in one groom solution. It does chop hair with ease, it you know what you are doing, you will no doubt be able to do fades etc with ease, I do not.It has a 5 year warranty as well which is a big bonus.Cheers,

This trimmer has many good points and one poor, which I'll get to. First the good. It looks great! It feels great in the hand and it comes with masses of attachments, probably more than you could ever need and certainly more than I will ever use. Wahl provide a bag to put these in, into which the trimmer, cool branded stand, also made of brushed steel and the provided lubrication oil can be put.The trimmer is a good weight, is slim and, belying its smooth steel look, it doesn't slide out of your grip.It really trims well, by far the quickest and easiest I have ever used, and when you've finished the trimmer blade can be removed for washing. So, why the reservation? The power cable,is why...it would have been easy for Wahl to have made a universal type plug and socket, but for some reason they have made a connector that I have never seen before and which I am going to have to guard with my life if I want to keep this beautiful looking trimmer useful.5 stars and recommended...just!

I literally shave my whole head once every two weeks, and I mean whole head. I use a hair clipper that by the time I've done my chin the blades are hotter than Hades when I come round to doing my head. So these were a welcome relief, as I could do most of my chin with them and getting to the hard to reach areas to boot. It is also cordless, which my head trimmer is not, so that is a very handy addition and the charge lasts a good while too (hasn't run out on a shave yet!).You get 20 blade attachments, a comb, cleaning brush, oil and a charger. All held in a handy case, so winner. This clipper will also come in handy when I have the quarterly all over shave,so will be better to shave those hard to reach areas without nicking sensitive areas (I even tried Veet to avoid this, but never again...), so all in all I would well recommend this shaver and it even comes with a 5 year guarantee. What is not to love about that?So don't be weird, shave that (bottom) beard!

Normally hubby feels like sandpaper when we kiss, But after using these trimmers his beard feels softer, And he definitely looks more ruggedly handsome. With a super quick charge it is able to last a whole week without needing another recharge. Unlike some other trimmers that can be quite fiddly, This is easy to clean. My husband also suffers with the occasional rogue nose hair, And this trims them off under his nose without any pulling or pain. The trimmer has a good weight on it and is quite steady in the hand, Which has come in handy for detailed sideburns using the fine blades. I personally like to also v shape the nape of his neckline, This can be difficult with full sized clippers, but it glides on the neck and makes a v shape on point. This comprehensive kit comes with a storage bag, 20 alternate attachments, A moustache comb and a stand to hold it upright, Plus some other useful extras. Good value.

I bought the silver one because it had the same extra comb attachments for my mustache and beard as the gold version. I came from a a cheaper Wahl trimmer that was old and took very long to charge. The product is very good. It is powerful and takes 1 hour or so to charge. The one i bought just has the standard blade attachment and it wasnt good for detailing. So I bought the T blade and the close shaver attatchments form Wahl. They are very good. The T blade is sharp and cuts very well. Although it does pull my hair a little but thats fine. The close shaver attachment is great too. Does exactly whats its meant to. Easy to remove and clean as the blades are washable.I would recommend the 4 in 1 version. The extra attachments are worth it and make the trimmer worth the price.

I wasn’t expecting so many attachments for a beard and stubble trimmer but was pleasantly surprised with how many were included. It also comes with the oil to maintain the quality of the shaver, a brush and a small comb. There is also a carry case if you needed to take everything on a trip. The device is very easy to use and hold, it has a handy little stand which is designed well to be sleek and attractive. It gives a very good shave, some shavers tend to tug against the hairs and catch them awkwardly but this glides quite smoothly like hair clippers would. One hour’s charge lasts up to 4 hours which is an incredible battery life considering how quick is can be to shave one charge could lastyou weeks depending how often you shave.
