These filters are an essential piece of kit as far as the Vax carpet shampooer is concerned. No reflection on the supplier who got them to me very quickly, but the actual product seems designed to dissolve after it's been used a few times. The shampooer will not function without the correct filter in place. Most retail outlets like B&Q and Argos who sell the appliance don't sell the filters, so you really need to have spares on hand and Amazon seems to supply most things. I now remove and thoroughly clean filter after each use in a vain attempt to extend its annoying little life. Something to consider next time you buy a carpet cleaner

This was just what I was looking for after the Filter on my Vax Carpet Washer disintegrated - replacements from the Vax shop were just far too expensive in my opinion, for what is essentially a fancy bit of spongy stuff! Decided to try a similar, "generic" type item, and am so glad I did. This item is ideal - it fits perfectly, works efficiently and at a fraction of the price is simply JUST THE JOB!I will definitely use this item/seller again, when or if the need arises.Full Marks. (But none on my carpets!!!)

I know that they are only a pack of Vax filters but the service received was superb. the filters were ordered on wedensday evening and they arrived at my door on friday morning.The filters are of good quality and cost about a third of the price, coupled with the prompt delivery i have to say im a very happy customer.i wont hesitate to use these people again when i need spare parts. highly recomended 5 stars.

My mum bought a Rapide a while back and had only used it a couple of times and the filter tore down one side,it's not as if it's open to abuse or anything,anyway she contacted Vax and their advice was an address where spares could be bought,cheers for that!These replacements are reinforced down one side and seem better,so we'll see.

I wasn't sure from the product description what I was going to get. The picture showed 2 filters but was described as a kit, the picture was correct I received a bag with 2 filters. The filters are fine for my cleaner.

As the original one wore out it needed to be replaced so I purchased these. They do of course work as well as the original ones and when these eventually wear I will purchase them again.

Easily fitted, works perfectly and cheap to buy, Service from supplier was good, cost - very good and seems thus far to be a product of reasonable quality which performs well on my Vax.

these were nearly £8 each on the manufacturers website and i got two for around a fiver including postage. fits very well and no problems so far in use.how could you not be happy.

The original filter quickly broke up, and many people reviewed the same experience. I therefore bought a load of these - and it's looking like I will never need the others!

Got them for my Mate, Had he's one in for 2 yrs and was not working correct. i had used he's Vax and replaced with new filter from this set. Good fit great Product.

Very well made even though it is not a genuine vax filter product...it comes in a pack of 2...It has a seam up each side and fits very well in the carpet cleaner.

Bought these as the original I was using had fallen to bits. They arrived in plastic bag rather than the box shown. Trust this was just done for p&p purposes
