Ordered directly from Amazon and received... you guess it a genuine Dyson filter. So if you want to make sure you get the real thing and not a generic part, make sure to order directly from Amazon. May cost a bit more, but you do get what you paid for!As for Dyson calling it a lifetime filter, I think this makes people believe that it will never need replacing which is wrong. If you have had your Dyson for more than a few years and are suffering from loss of suction or the filter is shows signs off wear. (sponge falling apart) then you should replace your filter and don`t forget to wash it out every 6 months.

This is every bit as good as the genuine Dyson part. I had read reviews before I purchased this item and saw that people were disappointed when a non Dyson part arrived. Although it states 'Dyson DC07 Lifetime Filter' what you get indeed isnt a Dyson part, but a filter that will fit the stated model...there lies the confusion I feel. It doesn't say its a genuine part, it just says what it is and what it fits...simples. Highly recommend. May buy another for a spare...So dont be disappointed by the non Dyson part, enjoy the high quality bargain that you have bought!

This filter transformed by Dyson DC07 - all loss of suction and motor cut-out problems are now gone and performance has been restored to as new condition.Despite its name, the lifetime filter does not last a lifetime and *does* eventually need replacing. If your Dyson is suffering loss of suction and motor overheat / cut-out, you probably need to replace this lifetime filter unit as washing it becomes ineffective.Well worth buying.

I am a firm believer that if you look after a piece of equipment, it will last much longer. It is important therefore to purchase the right parts when they are required. Normally I would have bought Qualtex for replacing my Dyson parts and they work perfectly well but in this case, the price was right for the genuine article. And it works perfectly as you would expect from a quality product.

I ordered directly from Amazon and received a genuine Dyson filter, not a generic part.Replacing the filter completely solved the suction and overheating problems I was having. Definitely worth the purchase, and it was worth paying the couple of quid extra to buy directly from Amazon.

I must agree with other comments in respect of these supposedly lifetime filters. Although we'd cleaned ours several times, a new filter from bartyspares revived our cleaner. Good prices and prompt delivery too. A happy customer

This filter gave my hoover a new lease of life as the old one was past it. The old one was described as a lifelong filter, but unless you wash it regularly, it seems to get clogged up eventually.

Good quality replacement part . Hard to say much about a piece of sponge in a plastic holder but the price is very competitive when compared to the manufacturers .

Dont know how much one can say about a replacement filter for a vacuum cleaner. It arrived quickly, easy to replace, fit perfectly. Does the job .

There isn't really much one can say about this - it is a filter, for a Dyson, it fits, delivery was quick. Good price.That's about it :-)

Very Pleased with Dyson Lifetime Filter. Very cheap, exactly what i wanted.Many Sites are selling, but not at this Price. Very Reasonable

REPLACEMENT FILTER AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE. REPLACES AN ORIGINAL DYSON THAT DID NOT WASH TOO SUCCESSFULLY. WOULD USE THIS SUPPLER AGAIN.
