I bought these to replace the filters in my DC14 Allegy model and they work great.Had to look online as to where the purple one went as, it was to small for the top of the hoover but didn't have a hole and was to big for the side of the hoover.Eventually found where it fit's which is under the dust container and as it turns out that filter was missing anyway so probably why I didn't know where it went at first.Anyway hoover is working great now, just need to give it a good servicing and then it will be like new again.

Dyson suggests that this is a lifetime filter? However when my DC 14, became extremely poor vacuuming the carpet, I decided to replace the filter as a last resort. What a difference it has made! The vacuum is now actually cleaning the carpet, as opposed to just going through the motions.The rubber seals are quite difficult to fit accurately. I was able to overcome this by positioning them in the recess on the cleaner (sticky side up) then placing the filter onto them, hey presto perfect fit, and perfect seal.

At the end of the day, this is a filter that is a part required to keep my Dyson Animal working in top condition (which is particularly important when the animal it vacuums up after is a long haired GSD!). I wouldn't usually have purchased a genuine Dyson filter as I find the Qualtex work equally well, but with prices this good at Amazon.co.uk, I had t go for the genuine article.

It works. The only downside of Mr Dyson's bag less technology is that the dust from which a HEPA filter is supposed to protect users swirls around when you empty the dust collector, which rather defeats the object, especially as it is attracted to the outside of the collector due to static charges which build up in the plastic.

My Dyson had developed a whistle lately and when I looked it up one of the hints to solve that was to change the filter. New filter in place and whistle gone. Two members of my family are sensitive to dust and dog dander and using my Dyson, with hepa filter certainly seems to control their reactions when visiting.

For the price, it seems to do the job, so it's fit for purpose and looks the same as the genuine one I replaced it with, albeit this was not dirty........ Better than paying 4 times the price off Dyson. I do normally buy genuine replacements, but this did not disappoint. Well worth the money. First class product.

My old filter was in need of changing, because it was clogged up with years of dust, so I purchased a replacement along with the necessary rubber seals that go with it and what a difference it has made to my Dyson Vacuum Cleaner. The suction/power that is now present, has made it like a new Vacuum Cleaner.

My Dyson DC14 ABSOLUTELY STANK when using.Buying replacement POST MOTOER & MOTOR FILTERS sorted out the problem & SAVED ME THE COST OF A NEW HOOVER!Don't throw away your Dyson just because you believe your hoover is so unbearable to use due to the smell!!!!!

HEPA filters work. They are worth having if someone in your home, or visitors, suffer from allergies. Of course, you'll only buy this if you have a Dyson of the right model already, and it won't work properly without it.If you need one, buy one.

I was considering it was time to buy a new Dyson, but bought this along with the blue filter to see if they would make a difference first. And they did, it's now working like new again, so it's saved me a lot of money in the long run!

I found this a little fiddly to fit - just getting the top lid off needed a bit of manoeuvring, but after that it just pops in and does the job. I'm an older lady but I could manage it. What more can you say about a filter?

Easy to locate part on internet although it was not listed for the Dyson "Animal" but another model....looked Ok so took a chance and it fitted........Excellent response, fast delivery, correct part, thankyou. Ian.

It's a replacement filter, OEM part, fitted the cleaner, running out of words to make the review submit now, give your Dyson a spring clean too and fit a new filter, they do work better for it!

Both filters were easy to fit and restored suction on my Dyson back to normal. If you are thinking of doing the same I would recommend doing both filters as they both effect performance.

Wow, I've got a new Dyson again. That's how good this filter is.Suction is so good that I can't move the vacuum over our livingroom rug.Good job we've got the Dyson V6 Animal
